I don't question the Gods blessings! Simply based off of that, they get a full five for me. They offered me the Branzino (if i remember correctly) over stone grits... superb. I really came for oysters and 10s accross the board. course the oysters were to die for. I literally came back like the next day. The steak burger is a hit! I'm not gonna lie. We had amazing service each time. Really nice airy ambience that reminds me of Martha's Vinyard. We experienced the communal table which was a cool concept. It was a little tight at first, but both parties that were there were leaving; so, it worked out. I genuinely have no complaints. I'm trying to think of one and I have nothing to give!

Ambiance - the lights and outdoor gas station awning is pretty. it's a cold bar with cold bar design. it's nice! vaping is permitted. Service - zero fine dining or restaurant training. Server talked to us like we were guests at a diner. Not a single course was mised. I don't want you to think I'm being petty about a missing knife or something because they were busy (which they were not). I had to repeatedly ask for plates and silverware. They took away mine and others half full cocktail and didn't ask if I was done. They took away the oysters before we were done and didn't ask. Linen fell on floor and nobody brought another. I asked for another and nothing came. Courses came out fast which is...standard. Food was delicious. Crudo, oysters, hot and cold plate. Yum. Coursed ourselves out well. Unfortunately this restaurant is too inconsistent with service. There are other cold bar restaurants with the same prices and better service. I'd love to return if the service improves. But I haven't come back.

Our server Jasmine was great and very attentive. She had recommendations that were spot on and appreciated. The vibe is pretty chill here and great for a mid day lunch outing with your lover or friend. Crab fried rice 10/10 - flavorful, filling, relishes, perfectly seasoned. A masterpiece perhaps.. I recommend getting it. Guacamole & Chips 10/10 blended perfectly. I personally would have like it spicy but I didn't ask for that. The chips were seasoned which is so important and much appreciated. The Jacy 10/10 - an amazing cocktail that was wonderfully balanced. Autumn spiced w/Tequila 10/10 - taste like a holiday honestly lol. I like my drinks more on the bitter side. So... heads up, it is not sweet. It's just balanced.

They were hosting a special limited time beverage with grapefruit as the primary flavor and negroni. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it? I ordered a ceasar salad. It wasn't what I expected. It is definitely their version of a ceasar salad but it was fresh and tasted good I just probably wouldn't order it again. I also ordered chips and guac. It was pretty standard issue. But the chips were the star. They were thick and crunchy yum. Our waitress was helpful, attentive and friendly. I do think this restaurant lives up fo it's name. I'd try it again.

From managing a time constraint and adding 2 guests the day of they did what was possible to make sure that we were treated like guests. So many restaurants start off from the mind set that they can make the patrons jump through whatever hoops or meet any number of strange criteria just to come dine, but they made sure we felt welcomed. Everybody had a great time with the visuals and the taste of the signature cocktails, the frozen orange juice as a floater in the ome the ladies ordered is a standout. Our appetizers portion of the meal was our overall highlight here on this visit. The 3 available raw east coast variety were presented tastefully and were fresh of course. Grilled octopus was easily some of the best prepared I've had, they nailed the texture. Eggplant dish was crispy, lobster gnocchi was spectacular with how much lobster made it on to the plate and quality of the gnocchi itself. Our mains were excellently prepared, I had the Tilefish, it was exactly as described by our waiter, and the crispy skin was executed perfectly. My wife's lamb chops were cleaned off the bone, not much higher of a compliment to be made there. Really the experience was capped off with class when we approached our agreed upon time to wrap things up prior to the concert. We had taken all of our time with the hot portion of the meal that we had left none for dessert. The staff then in unison changed out our plates and plated our selection of what seemed like all the dessert options for us to pick from as we liked. They allowed us a little extra time to enjoy the end of our meal and it was an amazing way to end our visit to Little's.

After seeing the Tik Tok reviews for Little's Oyster Bar, I figured it was worth the trip, and it definitely was. The rideshare ride from the airport took about 30 minutes, and I arrived roughly 10 minutes before they officially opened. The manager was kind enough to let me come in early and sit at the bar, which I really appreciated since I was working with a limited amount of time before heading back to the airport. I started with a cocktail, Champagne Colada, and was seated right away. For food, I ordered the caviar, octopus, Gulf oysters, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, and finished with the cherry gelato. Everything was really good, but those Yukon Gold mashed potatoes were especially memorable! I honestly wish I could have taken them with me, but I had to get back to the airport and knew they wouldn't make it through security. Service was welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed and upscale, and the meal made my Houston layover feel like a mini outing instead of several hours spent sitting at the airport. Next time I'm back in Houston, Little's Oyster Bar will definitely be on my list to revisit.

Although I like the Gray St. location a little better taste wise for my dynamite shrimp, I think that the University Blvd location is easier to get a reservation. This is a really good choice for date night, a family event or a girl's night. Always nice, clean and bright. Surprisingly, the chicken Parm is one of my favorite dishes here. It's probably top two for me and I've had a lot of chicken Parm. The burger is my second choice; it is so good! One of my favorite appetizers is the Dynamite Shrimp and the salad that's under has a fire dressing that they should bottle. But overall, I've tried several things with the people I've gone with, and there's nothing bad on the menu. Definitely get a reservation in advance... This isn't really a place you can just walk in unless you're sitting at the bar and you've gotten there at a good time. Parking is valet at the gray street location. It's very hard to find regular parking there. You can find parking pretty easily at the University Blvd location. My only real complaint is the service is slow... And I've had different servers at different locations and they all don't really move with a sense of urgency. It takes them a while to get back to you so you can place an order... It takes a while for them to bring out your drinks. Overall, just slow service and that's why I deducted a star.

The cocktails were O.K, one margarita came out as tequila on the rocks, which was just ridiculous, and the staff have a basic idea of what goes into a mojito, but no real skill at making one. We were five appetizers into the experience when one of the hostesses sauntered over and loudly proclaimed, " Due to very busy, you dining experience is limited to 90 minutes" Yes, she spoke that way. She them proceeded to mean mug us for the next 45 minutes as we pushed past 90 minutes as a form of protest. We quit purchasing food, and drink and just sat there looking at her, daring her to come over and enforce her little power trip time limit. Never happened. The food was amazing, very well done. Thee waiter was amazing, he understood the mission and was tipped very well. But the bartenders, and the hostesses brough the experience down to a lowly one star.

I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try the Oysters Rockefeller... and let's just say they weren't my speed. They weren't bad, just not for me. So naturally I sent them back and ordered my tried-and-true favorite... Chargrilled Oysters with extra garlic butter, Parmesan, and bacon. Now THAT'S what I came for! Rich, buttery, cheesy, smoky, and absolutely loaded with flavor. Every bite reminded me why these are my go-to. And because brunch rules apply... it was only right to enjoy a pineapple mimosa (or two ). Light, refreshing, and the perfect pairing for all that seafood. If you're visiting Goode Co. Seafood, my advice is simple: Don't skip the Smoked Redfish Dip. Order the Chargrilled Oysters. Add extra garlic butter. Thank me later. 9.5/10 -- I'll definitely be back! #LoveJonesEats #HoustonEats #GoodeSeafood #ChargrilledOysters #SeafoodLover #HoustonFoodie #BrunchVibes #MimosaMood #SupportLocal #FoodieFinds
