Crab avocado salad
Sana K.

Great customer service. Went at noon on Tuesday, as soon as I got in it started to pour and it got busy. Beautiful outdoor covered seating. I chose inside because I enjoy AC. I got the popular crab avocado salad. It was very good. I wanted to try the blacked grouper special salad but since the crab salad was more popular and recommended by my server Jay I went with that.

George's in 30A was definitely a HIT for me! Parking was seamless, and since they don't take reservations, we decided to try our luck. Surprisingly, we were seated within minutes! Our server, Jerome, was also amazing and added to the experience. After a long day, I started with a cup of hot coffee to give me a little boost, but then I switched over to a refreshing mocktail--and it was SO refreshing! Definitely a wonderful choice. For appetizers, I tried the calamari fries, which were a hit, along with the summer salad. The fresh fruit was bursting with flavor and created the perfect balance. For my entrée, I opted for the chef's special with shrimp, mussels, squash, and green peas. The sauce was absolutely delicious and brought everything together perfectly. We also ordered George's fried basket, which came with shrimp, fries, hush puppies, and slaw. Of course, I wanted the full dining experience, so I had to end with dessert! The banana pudding shortbread cake was a wonderful choice and the perfect way to wrap up the meal. If you're in the 30A area or thinking about giving George's a try, I can definitely say it's worth it!

Lobster Quesadilla

We had heard great things about George's and really wanted to give it a try while on vacation. The wait was definitely long, but I'm glad we stuck it out because it was absolutely worth it. We were able to grab a table at the outdoor bar and have some drinks while we waited, which made the time go by pretty easily. Once seated, we decided to go with appetizers and drinks and had a great experience. The lobster quesadilla and calamari fries had both been recommended to us before our trip, and they did not disappoint. Both were great, but the tuna tataki was easily my favorite thing we ordered. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere all around. Even with the long wait, George's lived up to the recommendations and was definitely one of the spots I was glad we made time for while on vacation.

Great food, great service, and great vibes. I can see why this place is an institution. Loved the Strawberry Sangria and the desserts in particular. All of the desserts were delicious.

Absolutely phenomenal, our family of 4 enjoyed everything we ordered and cleared our plates. Calamari, tuna poke bowl, burger, and hot honey chicken sandwich. We've been coming to the area for a while now and have always passed by George's and they always have such a long line around dinner time, I now understand why! The food is delicious, and the service is great. We came for lunch and were seated immediately. No complaints here and we plan to comeback.

One of the best meals I've had in the area this week on vacation. We sat out on the deck for a perfect evening with the family. Highly recommended!

I knew this place was popular but still very surprised to see a line out the door when we arrived a little after 5 pm on a Friday night. They have a little bar waiting area though and we didn't have to wait for too long. We ordered the lobster quesadilla as an appetizer and it was so delicious and cheesy. I got the shrimp pesto fettuccini as my main course and was not disappointed. We were also glad that they were able to accommodate our friend who has a dairy allergy with the jerk crusted snapper. Our server was very sweet! The ambiance was nice and upscale. I loved the outdoor dining option. We shared a bottle of white wine for our friends bachelorette which was delicious. They were also great about splitting our bills. Would def recommend this spot if you're in 30A looking for a nice dinner. But go right at 5 pm so you don't have to wait too long!

Honestly this was the best meal we had in the area!!! Was very happy we gave it a try and would totally come back if I were to visit Florida again. The salad and shrimp were good, with the pesto coming in shortly behind that. Potatoes were just okay but glad we got them to balance out everything else. The place wasn't wildly crowded but we got a reservation just in case. Our server was nice and the food came out relatively quick! Indoor seating mainly! If there is a wait, you'll likely be standing outside.

I just had the freshest most generous lobster roll ever!!! It was amazing. When I am back in town I will definitely return. I wish I caught the name of our server because she was really good.

I'm between 3 and 4 stars on it, so rounded up since I only have one visit to go by and others seem to have positive opinions. The good: service was excellent, very helpful and was happy to walk through the good and bad of the menu (well, not "bad" per se, but he was honest as to which dishes he didn't like as much). Location is lovely and conveniently located. Pleasant dining space indoors and outside. The food was fine, which was a little disappointing from reading other reviews. Fish was a little dry and could've used a little more sauce (possibly due to its being a bit dry, I suppose). It was a good portion size (better be for $28, after all), and I saw potential, just wasn't an A-game delivery. The fries, I must say, were excellent. Drinks were also just fine, nothing really stood out about them. All told, I'd go back, just wasn't the knockout experience others seem to have had.

Excellent food! We came here one night of my sister's bachelorette trip. Unfortunately, they have no reservations and you must physically show up to put your name on their list. Then they give you an estimated wait time and you must show up within 10 minutes of that text. They told us we would have an hour wait and then texted us before the runners even got back from the Airbnb. We got there in 12 minutes and because we were 2 minutes late, they bumped us. Ended up waiting about an hour on the sidewalk in the humid heat. Thankfully the food was good!

Plenty of street parking. No issues with a spot and we stepped in and were greeted by Paul and Lark upon entry. Major plus is the fact that you can get fresh oysters shucked and shrimp, fish, burgers, they have something for everyone! If you don't care to eat in, getting it to go is also fine I'm sure. Ordered a dozen oysters, steamed Old Bay shrimp and potatoes, and a shrimp and fish plate that came with Cole slaw, hush puppies, and fries. Plenty to share. They have multiple sauces and seasonings, especially of note is the Crystal hot sauce from Louisiana which is one of the best IMO for oysters. Service was very good, friendly, professional, and helpful with support. Couldn't have been happier with the lunch today, we already will plan one last visit before heading home Saturday. I cannot say this enough, good food, great service, fast in and out, accommodating when asked for something. It's 100% perfect for this area. The person cooking in the kitchen also nailed the food cooked back there also. They have a steam box in the front as well as a huge area where the seafood is displayed. Support small businesses!

Right when we arrived, we were walked to our table, which was a booth and was plenty of room for the 5 of us. When we were walking to our table, I noticed how nice this restaurant was! The ambiance was on point. Very nice but not too nice. Our waiter immediately addressed us when we sat down and gave us his recommendations for drinks. I decided on the peach Paloma spritz. It was delicious and well presented. Others in my party got red wine, a French 75 and the market ranch water. I thought mine was the most delicious lol. Before we ordered our appetizers, the waiter was so beyond knowledgeable about the whole menu. Gave us all of the specials like nothing I have ever heard before. He was so great! For our appetizers, we got the bread butter candle, smoked fish dip, and the burrata salad. The bread butter candle was the best thing I've ever had! It was so cool and very unique. I absolutely loved the burrata salad, but I thought the fish dip was a tad too fishy for me. For our entrees, most of the table got the red fish and the other two got the steak and the pasta. We all devoured the red fish! It was so delicious and a good portion. Others in my pastry weren't fans of the pasta, but the steak was one of the best I've ever tasted. From the service to the food to the ambiance, this place is one of my favorites I've ever dined at! I can't wait to come back!

The dark chocolate fondue came with marshmallows, bananas, apples, strawberries and pound cake bites. The chocolate fondue container was HUGE and filled to the brim with dark chocolate. We each got our own skewer to dip the goodies. I could have eaten every last bite, this was delicious. The milk and cookies were just as good! This was three huge cookies with a side of milk.
