Genevieve's has been on our must-try list for quite some time, and with another couple tonight was the night that we were gonna try for the first time. It was all exciting about trying some very interesting dishes on the pre-fix meal, but unfortunately, it was not the stellar experience that I was hoping for. For starters, our server and "Director of First Impressions", Amber, was cold, aloof, and disconnected. She was just running through her role in a very detached manner. We made no connection with our server and the server is 50% of the experience. She was rushing. No one was there yet to take her time, and we felt that we had no connection with our server whatsoever. She didn't show any passion for the dishes other than sharing what she felt were her favorites. In a restaurant, speak in creative terms about the food, have and show passion for the food you represent. The four of us discussed the menu, and we all aligned and were going to taste around the table. Between the four of us, one tried the Thai pork dish, one the shrimp dish, and two the eggplant Parm dish. In summary, we all felt that they were underwhelming, and they missed their mark on expectation and wow factor. For example, the Thai pork dish that I had was supposed to have a Thai flair to it. If there was any, it was on the lower end of the flavor profile. It was a tiny dollop of some sort of red Thai chilli sauce, but it wasn't enough of a flavor profile to make me say yes, that's Thai-inspired, and frankly, it was lukewarm, yes the meat was tender. My wife and a friend had the eggplant Parm dish and also felt uninspired by their dishes. One was overcooked compared to the other; the two asked for additional sauce to give it some more flavor. Yes, it was a nice evening out, and you get a lot for your money with a multi-course dining experience. One other oddity. During the dessert course, which was a type of bread pudding, we were not offered coffee nor tea. Even it would have been extra, who doesn't offer a hot beverage with dessert, especially in the artic temps we are experiencing this winter. I had nearly an hour drive home, and coffee would have been most appreciated. Oh well. So in summary, I would have expected this to be a five-star review all day long. Unfortunately, it's not even close,e and this is coming from 2 couples opinion.

Love this place!.. Small town place with outstanding service and even better food... The best part is the chef, himself... He always comes out to say hello to us... Love this place!..

Many thanks to Joey and Amber for a wonderful evening to celebrate our anniversary. The summer salad was watermelon with greens, with a great substitute of cantaloupe. The spinach salad dressing had a nice kick also. We ordered the Bronzino and the lamb chops both were delicious and nicely prepared. The garden was beautifully done, by the owner and his crew, and everything was laden with pride. We will return, we will bring friends, Many thanks again!

The food and service were just okay. not the best spot i've visited in doylestown. Food: My party shared the mushroom sandwich, salad, and filet mignon hash. I wasn't a fan of the filet mignon seasoning and the mushroom sandwich was just okay, but the salad was my favorite out of all three. Service: there weren't many workers so i completely understand there being a hefty delay on bringing things out. other notes: my cup had thick lipstick stains, and there were strange black specs in all of our hot waters. i think this portion will be the reason why i don't return.

Had a lovely brunch here! The food was absolutely to die for, the service was super kind, and the atmosphere was so cute, especially the outdoor seating area! Entrance was a little tight but we were seated quickly so I didn't mind it :)

Fresh, cooked to order food. We have brunch here. I got their special crab and asparagus omlette. Cooked perfectly. Love their home fries, seasoned and crunchy on the outside. Hubby got avocado Benedict, very delicious also. We finally have a nice cool day, so we got to sit outside. They have a beautiful garden and seating in side and back of the restaurant. It's like eating in France again.

Perfect stop for a tasty breakfast/brunch or a sweet luncheon with a friend. Bright and sunny. Super fresh. Eat outside in good weather.

Today you are greeted with a warm and non cluttered space as you enter and a nice atmospheric feeling in the dining room. The Chef has changed since that time too, bringing a fresh new and exciting menu to the table as well as a 7 course Tasting menu you can also try - we went for the tasting at $130 pp and it was well worth it. It would be too lengthy to try to describe each dish but all but one ( the Larchmont Farm Nectarine) was extraordinary. There is a very small cocktail/wine list now. The most expensive wine being around $50 or so. If you BYO, there is a $25 corkage fee. All the staff were very friendly and informed and described each dish as it was presented. Most of the tables were full the entire night. Not an inexpensive meal but we will return and most likely just order from the regular menu.

We started with a prosecco from the Veneto and some nice appetizers. This was a five course menu preceded by cocktails. The ambiance was an older farmhouse and we sat at a long table with Gail our wine presenter/expert sitting across from us. There were approximately 18 guests. The kitchen was open for us to see and aromas were pleasant . The food was outstanding and we particularly enjoyed the pappardelle and Osso Buco my wife has some leftovers. The wines were perfectly paired and we really enjoyed them all. The Nizzi Barbera was notable. Service was great and Gail was excellent providing history and explanations of all the wines. The second pairing had a bit of an issue with a corked bottle but all was made right. The chef came out as each course was served to explain the dishes and their preparation. We will return when another wine dinner is offered. Mark & Nancy.

Have to say that while it appears to be an amusement park from beyond the fence with massive water slides and multiple aquamarine pools for various uses; from within it makes more sense and is actually quite attractive in a hyperactive way. Happy Hour with half price drinks was a good deal, and the bar food offerings were also well designed to complement the alcoholic drinks, if not all that tasty, nor compelling in their own right. So many people in a relatively small space around the bar, that conversation was a bit challenging. Plenty of alternative distractions among the many "beautiful" folks who enjoy being the center of attention, and know how to do it right, especially when encouraged with beverage. With music playing in the background the experience was a mixed bag. Clearly, the plan is a bit over the top, and made for people with kids or those who like this glitterati experience. Yet, there was a full house that evening, and business was booming. Covid put an end to the crowds for the last year, but I suspect the club will be back in action full tilt come vaccinations and reduced mask wearing. I'm the more cautious type, and will wait a while before accepting my next invitation.
