The washing machine cost $475. It's a GE top load. Why would you pay just as much to fix it as a new one would cost. When questioned about both, he had no response. It made me feel as though he saw a woman and was going to take advantage of the situation. If you are a woman, proceed with caution or do your research prior to calling them. I wasted $150. One machine died on December 4th and it was determined that the transmission need to be replaced. The part finally arrived and was installed on February 22nd. That left me with a machine making zero money for two and a half months. The bill for labor (two trips) was $346.41. Evidently it takes two hours to replace a transmission at $90 an hour. The machine died again the very next day! I threw it away and bought a Whirlpool.
