Tech came out and looked at my dryer and said it's a problem with the electrical panel needs more power then I called an electrician only to be told that info he gave me was incorrect and there's nothing needed electrical. Spent $70 on ASAP Appliance Service only to receive a lazy tech that didn't even touch the dryer and just gave me the worst horrible advice and recommendation which cost me more money down the drain and time for nothing. read more

Very Disappointed! Called ASAP based on Next Door Reviews. I told them when I called that the control panel on our double oven had gone out. They came the next day and charged me $89 to tell me "the control panel had gone out". No kidding! Then called the next day to tell me that the part was no longer manufactured and they couldn't do anything to fix the oven. A little time online and yes, the part is discontinued but there are refurbished parts (with 2 or 3 year guarantees) available and had they given me that option I would have said yes. I would rather pay a couple hundred dollars to get a few more years of value out of an oven that is only 10 years old than to pay thousands to replace it. We requested service for our dryer. The ASAP Appliance Service technician arrived and requested we change a part, which cost $370 and change for service + parts. Less than two weeks later our dryer stopped working and when the same technician arrived, he said the motor was done, as was the dryer effectively. I felt the underlying issue was not accurately understood and we paid almost $400 for nothing. I would not recommend ASAP appliance Service. read more

I've used ASAP appliance repair for over 20 years for my washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and ovens. 6 years ago I got all new appliances at NFM for a new house and bought the extended warranty. For these past 6 years I've used their service and realized how superior ASAP is in repairs. After 6 or 7 calls on the new oven, I'm finally using ASAP again. I trust what they say. I trust they will be there when stated. I believe they will give me the best advice, and order the right parts from the manufacturers. Armia was wonderful these last 2 visits, telling me what was needed, how long and how much it would cost. it is sad how people try to get over on you, i made and appt. aug., of this year my freezer handle was loose just a simple tightening of screws hidden screws special tool, i called a.s.a.p, the guy comes out tells me i need a new handle, and it will be 300.00 plus !!!!!! what, then it is a 75.00 for a visit which he did nothing, tells me it could not screw back together, now the screw was still in the handle, he takes it out and place it in the socket where it goes, now i have to sit the handle on top, totally tacky, looks worse than before he started, my son comes home , from out of town in and i tell him, he gets his tools and 5 min. it is screwed back in, people be aware of these gold diggers, i will never call them again for anything read more

Our refrigerator stopped working and I called around for an appliance repair company, but most of them don't open/work on the weekends. I called ASAP Appliance and the receptionist told me that someone would call and could come out that Saturday afternoon. Eugene came out and diagnosed the problem. He was so helpful in explaining the issue and gave us a very reasonable quote. He spent 3 hours fixing our refrigerator and I thought for sure it would cost more, but it didn't. The refrigerator runs like new and I was so pleased with his work. I highly recommend Eugene from ASAP Appliances. I do agree that ASAP Appliances should get vehicles with their logo on it. Got home from work to find water in my ice maker, things in my freezer starting to thaw and the refrigerator getting warmer. Not a lot of time left in the day, so called ASAP based on Yelp reviews. Glad I did! Mike showed up early the next day. Within a few minutes he and a helper had my refrigerator pulled out and the problem diagnosed. Mike told me he would try his best to fix it either that day or the next because he was going on vacation. Amazingly, he located the parts needed the same day and came back to fix the unit that afternoon. Fast, friendly, professional. They even wore masks (pandemic) and thoroughly cleaned the area under and behind my refrigerator before setting it back. Did microwave service with them, paid service and parts fees. After getting microwave to the home had the same issues as was reported earlier and on top of it more problem too. Called them again with the issues and they advised me that this cannot be repaired and returned only parts fees but charged too much on service fees. This place was great! I called in the afternoon and got a next day appointment. The woman I spoke with on the phone was nice and friendly. I had a unique issue with the buttons on our vent hood and I wasn't sure if anyone would be able to fix it. But, Mena came out and took a look and figured out what to do! ASAP Appliance comes through for us, yet again. We found them about 6 years ago when our old washer and dryer seemed to be going out. We were sure they'd say it was time to get a new set but they were able to fix them and they are still going strong. Last year, they bought us some time with an old dishwasher and today, they saved us $2000 as we were about to buy a new refrigerator/freezer. They installed a new ice maker, filter, and completely cleaned underneath the fridge and got us back up and running. Mike has always been very informative educating us on caring for appliances and giving his honest opinion if it's time to replace something. ASAP sent a fellow who spent 15 minutes resetting the heat cycle, and gave me a bill for $40. I have similar anecdotes about the refrigerator, the dryer and the oven. I have saved thousands by calling ASAP. The accent is Egyptian, by the way. They are very nice Coptic Christians, who live here because they were in danger at home. I hate writing these but when you get a service person who is especially rude and mean you have to let people know. "Sam" showed up to fix my washing machine. Long story short he told me I needed a new drain pump. Before I could see the broken part he had already closed up the machine. When I asked him to show me he became annoyed and rude that he had to reopen the machine so that I could see. This should've been my first clue ... He then convinced I would have to spend 325.00 on a new part. I asked him for a price breakdown of the part and labor and he told me he could not do that. This should've been my second clue ... After "Sam" left my husband and I took the panel off the machine so we could investigate further and turns out the drain was clogged. After cleaning, machine worked perfectly. "Sam" 1000% knew this and tried to get away with selling a part we didn't need. BEWARE of unscrupulous service people from this company. Calling credit card company next ... If only "Sam" had just cleaned the pump, charged me the 69.00 for the service fee and been on his way. In other words if only he had DONE HIS JOB! I called ASAP at 3:30 on a Friday regarding my washing machine after another company cancelled on me for the second day in a row. Mike was able to come early the next day. Even though I had done the exact same thing that he had done to get the machine working, it worked when he did it but not for me. I guess he had the magic touch. He also cleaned the coils on my 23 year old refrigerator which keeps on ticking (knock on wood). He also gave me some advice about keeping my dishwasher clean and which brand of appliances are worth buying and will last the longest. Not all brands are equal and I would prefer not to deal with repairs. But if I have to get something repaired, I will call ASAP again and ask for Mike. read more

Mena came out in about an hour, diagnosed the problem as an old third party part than had been replaced years ago and had gone out. He wired around it so my compressor would work until he could come back the next day with the new correct part. He put in the new part replacing the old wires with new and everything is working as good as new.
