We had a really frustrating and honestly upsetting experience with Michael and would not recommend him. From the moment he arrived, he came across as arrogant. He didn't explain what he was doing, brushed off questions, and had a constant smirk on his face even when I was clearly trying to understand what was going on. He "fixed" our microwave, but it started sparking again within days. After his second attempt to repair it, I asked what would happen if the microwave had the same issue again. With a smirk, he simply said, "just call me." That response summed up his attitude the entire time, smug and dismissive. He also worked on our refrigerator, which only had an ice maker issue, and after he was done, the entire fridge stopped working and we lost food. The whole time, he gave inconsistent explanations and never clearly communicated what he was doing. In the end, we paid Michael for an unresolved microwave issue and for turning a simple ice maker problem into a completely non-functioning refrigerator. We paid him above his basic service fees for both appliances, and only received partial refunds after significant back-and-forth about what he felt he was owed. When we came to the conclusion that we no longer wanted to work with him and clearly conveyed that, there was no accountability, only defensiveness about his time and the money he claimed to be losing. We later had a certified technician come out, who told us within minutes that the wrong compressor had been installed, not a "bad" compressor as Michael had claimed, but the completely wrong model altogether, a mistake that could have been avoided if he had paid the slightest attention to detail and simply read the old model number. The new technician worked for one hour, and the fridge was fixed and running cold by that evening. If this had simply been a situation where a technician didn't know how to fix the issue or wasn't able to, there would have been no need for a review. It was Michael's lack of accountability and refusal to acknowledge that he didn't know what he was doing that made this experience so frustrating. We are sharing this review so others can make an informed decision and hopefully avoid a similar situation. If there is any attempt to claim we have the wrong person (as seen in other reviews), I am more than happy to provide Ring camera footage confirming it was Michael at our home. read more

The problem was fixed, but then after a couple of loads the door locked to the washer, we tried to reach back out and he would never respond. Do not recommend this service. I have a partially frosted evaporator coil on a GE refrigerator / freezer, so it's probably a sealed system failure and I requested a quote to get a ballpark idea of the cost of fixing it, and mentioned I can send a pic if needed. He responded with a canned response stating his quote was $65 to come look at it, just to tell me what he very likely could have told me just by looking at the picture. For comparison, another company responded on Yelp via my same request (I opted for competing quotes) and they took a look at the pic and verified what I had already suspected, that it is very likely a sealed system failure and I'd be better off looking into a new unit. 3 stars for responding at least, thank you. read more

Needed a repair of a Built In coffee maker and was difficult to find someone that was even willing to look at it and the ones that would look at it wanted to charge ridiculous price for simple service call before determining what was needed to get it working again.
