I called Elite Appliance and made an appointment…read more He came out, took a look for five minutes, gave me the invoice to pay him for a service charge and said he would come back and repair the hinge once he got the part. I waited... and waited... It took a month to hear back, but I finally got a text with a date.... No phone call, just a text. No status update, just a text saying when he would show up to fix my refrigerator. He comes when I'm at work, so my wife had to deal with the install. He worked for around 5 minutes and come to find out, instead of installing a new hinge, he simply drops a screw in the hinge hole and tells my wife that it's the correct fix. I've attached a video of his repair that he charged me a total of $325 for. I can't understand how any business would ever do something so shady and unprofessional. Now I'm out of $320, and my door is worse than when he showed up. Very unprofessional and sneaky. What a dissapointment.

A Javier contacted me and made an appointment for November 19, 2024. He came, said his name was Jorge Dominguez. I told him over the phone, the man said Javier and he said Javier or Jorge, which ever would be fine. That was my first red flag. The receipt stated "the thermal high fuse and heating element are damaged. I need to replace." Warranty was for 6 months labor, 2 months part and charged me $200. I then told him my Whirlpool washer was knocking after starting and I would make appointment for him to come back and look at it. He nicely said, "I'll look at it now, no charge and will tell you what's wrong with it". He then said he would have to get the part and come back. Came back on November 22, 2024 with part. Receipt stated the problem was on the actvator. That's how he spelled it. So I replaced it. The washer is working now. January 10, 2025, I called, sent text messages from my phone and through Thumbtack and never got any responses until about about February after I contacted him again. My washer was making terrible screeching noises like never before through all cycles. He told me him and his family had covid. I sympathized and told him to get well and contact me back as soon as possible. He contacted me in March and came March 6, 2025 and charged me $70. I didn't asked for a receipt which was bad on my part because I assumed then he was trusting, caring guy and would texted or emailed it to me. This was second flag. Why would he charged me $70 for something he supposedly fixed and was under warranty? Well, I said I was through with him and that company and Thumbtack after this but my dryer started doing the same thing, no heat & it was under warranty. I called Jorge and he came April 8, 2025. Looked at it and said he could fixed it for $200. I then told him to put my machine back together like it was & then I went off in words. How in the world was he going to charge a customer for something he was to fixed in the first place and didn't. Then he told me to pay him $70 for service fee for coming. I told him for something you were suppose to fix and didn't and you want service fee. That should have been discussed over the phone and I will make sure I will if ever again any serviceman comes after messing up, will there be any charges for returning. He then stated, I feel bad. If you pay me $100, I will fix it to work for a year. He also said to not call and tell the company anything, that he could get in trouble for it. I asked for a receipt and he told me he couldn't give me one because he didn't received the full $200. Third red flag! Well today, My washer is not agitating when washing which is the same thing it was doing when Jorge or Javier came. My dryer doesn't work at all. I had to unplugged it because the cord in the wall was burning hot. My appliances were at least running before he came and I am out of $500. Lesson learned, when in doubt especially after 1st time, follow ypur intuition. Better yet, I should have bought a new washer and dryer. I don't know if the good reviews about Jorge Dominguez are true but I would not trust him or his company at all! I gave him a good review at first, and then I tried to go back and delete it and couldn't find it. As far as star, zero.
