First, apparently, he DELETED ALL OF THE PHOTOS I HAD ON THE EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE. I hired him fix a thumb drive gone bad; lots of travel photos that I wanted to keep. I gave him an external hard drive to put recovered photos on. I already had a slew of travel photos on the external drive as well. Aside from accidentally charging more for the deposit and more for the remainder of the payment, I just realized that he deleted ALL of the photos I already had stored on my external drive. I had travel photos from Iceland, Greenland, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Italy, Greece, Colombia, Egypt, and Jordan. Gone. All gone. I'm trying to recover these files now on my own. Something I wish I did the first time. Why in the world would you just delete 10 folders holding thousands of photos? As far as I'm concerned, dude just walked into my house and set fire to all my photo albums. Worse, I have no "negatives" from which I can reprint them. Gone forever. Thanks a lot.
