I recently bought a new car and I reached out to GC's Auto Detailing for a ceramic coating and full detailing. He came to my house on a Sunday and took care of everything. The car came out so beautiful, it looks and smells brand new. I highly recommend this business. My last car was ceramic coated and I rarely had to wash it, such a great value! read more

Thank you Rob for making my car look like new!! My 2018 Honda CRV looks like a new car!

i am very particular about who washes my car. George has done an excellent job taking care of my black beauty. Cannot wait to see what the ceramic coating will look like! I would 100 percent recommend him! read more

I made the mistake of trying to wash my car with a garden hose, in the sun, leading to a water spot disaster. I didn't know hard tap water can cause mineral deposits on cars that will actually eat into the clear coat over time and eventually be impossible to get out. Not many people realize how simple sprinklers can destroy their car's paintjob, thanks to our extremely hard, mineral infested tap water here in OC. I called GC Auto Detailing late Friday afternoon and explained the situation to George. He was already finished for the day, but had me come by his house to examine my car. Him and his assistant had never seen such a water spot disaster. His assistant asked me stunned "did you spray this with a garden hose or something?" And I was like "yeah, you're not supposed to do that?" George explained the urgency of the situation and was unexpectedly accommodating to my schedule, letting me come to his house again at 7am the next day (Saturday) to give my car a thorough wash and try to get the water spots out. Luckily they were able to get the water spots out of everywhere except one side trim piece, avoiding a disaster. George even polished all the surface scratches we could find out of my car, and gave me some good car washing tips. Him and his assistant taught me how to properly dry my car by spreading and dragging a microfiber towel in a straight line with no pressure on the paint, how to hand wash the roof of an SUV by standing on the rear tire, what types of water to use to minimize the risk of water spots, and washing/drying techniques to avoid water spots (avoid washing in the sun, washing/drying in sections, etc). My car came out looking stunning with 98-99% of the water spots gone, so my paint job was saved. I'd highly recommend George as he's an expert and really knows what he's doing. read more

We were very pleased with the service provided by George and his helper Josh. They did a terrific job detailing my husband's car. They made it look fabulous on the outside as well as the inside. George is a very congenial guy. He is easy to talk to and goes out of his way to make sure you are happy with his work. He showed up on time at our home which made it very convenient and he completed the job in less time than it would've taken if we had gone to an auto detailing place. We will definitely hire GC's Auto Detailing the next time we need a car detailed. read more

George is awesome! Very personable, dedicated, and detail-oriented - a true artisan in his craft. He did a great job with my RC F for a photo shoot I had that day. I am very happy with how clean and shiny my car looked after George completed the project. He also gave me solid recommendations and answered all of my questions - he is most definitely a subject matter expert in the field of auto detailing. Highly recommend! Thanks GC. read more

I highly recommend GC Auto Detailing... The owner George is extremely professional and provides top quality service! His assistant who worked with him was hard working and polite as well. I found their services on Yelp and was so thankful they happened to have a rare last minute opening that I jumped at the chance and booked immediately. Initially I sent a text inquiry to the phone number from Yelp and the owner George immediately called me (so refreshing for quick & clear communication). I really like that the price packages (based on car size) are clear & detailed on the website which is refreshing compared to competitors I've called who usually give you a price range and tell you they have to see your car first in order to give you a quote. None of those worries here with GC detailing as all you do is select car size on his site, then choose your package based on your needs. That way you know how much your spending max before they even arrive (I so appreciate this)! The car looks & smells fantastic after being detailed. I am so impressed by the quality of service, professionalism, and I will definitely be booking George/GC Auto Detailing again in the future!! So grateful!! read more

George did an amazing job detailing my White Jeep Liberty. The work he did on the engine is especially impressive. She hadn't been cleaned in around four and a half years and now it looks brand new. George even removed some old stickers on my back windshield -- you can't even tell they were there. Thank you! read more

Man, I've never had such a difficult time deciding to review a company, but I decided I needed to share my experience. I recently purchased a used truck and am in the market for somebody to detail the exterior to bring her back to her former glory. I reached out to several different detailers for pricing, including George at GC's. We scheduled a time for him to come by and take a look at the truck. George is a super nice gentleman. We had a great conversation and a few laughs while he looked over my truck. He gave a price that was consistent with the other prices I had gotten on the phone, so I decided to give him the business. He scheduled for a date 3+ weeks out, so I decided to try him out with a basic detail on my other car (2019 model), which included clay bar, wax, and interior cleaning. He showed up about 2 hours early on Saturday, July 4th. He and his worker got straight to work. After about 90 mins, I got a text that he was all finished, so I popped out front and took a quick glance at the car. I didn't spend too much time, as we were entertaining guests at our pool, but the car looked great. I paid him and they were off. I really wish I would have spent a little more time checking out the car before paying him. Monday I finally went out and investigated his job a little more. A very easy way to check a clay bar job is to put your hand in a plastic sandwich bag and run it over the paint. If the clay bar is done properly, the bag will slide over a very smooth paint finish. Mine felt like I was reading a Braille book. So, as to not jump to immediate conclusions, I got my clay bar out and clay barred half the hood so I could compare. Yup, just as I dreaded, my half was ice slick and George's half was bumpy. That led me to two possible scenarios: either he doesn't know what he is doing, or he intentionally did a half-assed job, hoping I was too dumb to notice. I came back to Yelp to reread his reviews. All but one were glowing reviews, so now I believe the latter of the two to be true. I texted George and asked him if he indeed clay barred my car, to which he answered "yup". I then said, "OK, please cancel the appointment for my truck". I expected him to ask why, or at least defend himself and try to keep the appointment. Nope. Crickets. I did receive an email later that day confirming the cancelation of the appointment, but not so much as a peep from him otherwise. This lack of response pretty much solidified my belief that he tried to get over on me. Tsk, tsk. It's really too bad because I really liked both of them, and I liked the job they did on the inside of the car, but I paid for a detail, not a basic wash. So, if you find yourself using GC's Auto Detailing, be sure to thoroughly examine the job he does BEFORE he leaves. read more

I cannot say enough great things about GC's Auto Detailing. We had my new SUV detailed in preparation for the ceramic coating George also applied. He pays attention to the smallest of details, resulting in a beautiful end result. George was prompt, thorough in his explanation of the ceramic coat process and competitively priced. I Love how amazing my Volvo looks, George... Thanks again!! read more

To sum it up - George is amazing. He's an honest guy who knows what needs be done and how its to be done. I had him take care of my two cars - the basic wash, for the very first time last week. He adjusted according to my schedule for our kids' schools pickup time, though I had made a last minute appointment. Showed up right on time, job well done... actually very well done. Thank you for squeezing us into your schedule. He pays attention to the smallest of details. read more

Couldnt have been an easier process. Ive had a few mobile car washes and some either show up late or are awful at responding/communication. George responded quickly and was stellar in his service. We got a wash and wax on 2 cars and couldn't be happier. Our cars were in desperate need of a wash and in the midst of this pandemic Georges service fills a gap where people dont necessarily want to go sit at a car wash around people or use communal washes. Thank you again George for your premium car care! read more
