After the great wash and wax!

Always great service and price! I drive a long way to this spot! Steven and his team are worth your time.

one large scratch and a smaller scratch

Giving 2 stars because sometimes the work is good. However, I will not be bringing my vehicle back here, nor will I recommend them to my family or friends any longer. Recently had a full detail done on my explorer and noticed two scratched on the outside of my rear passenger windows. Emailed the owner and brought it back by. He couldnt feel the scratch on the outside (its there) or the inside and told me it seems like the window is separating from the inside and to go back to Ford and ask why its happening. I felt brushed off and it seemed like they didnt want to own up to the mistak. I went to Ford and they clearly felt the scratch on the outside and said more than likely, a dirty rag or a rag with some debris (ie a small rock) was used and casued the scratches or the person detailing the car had a ring or jewlery on. Pretty disppointing experience and I have used this business for a few years now, as do my brother and father. My recommendation is, take pictures of your care before you drop it off, just in case. I am very good about noticing dents, dings, scratches, etc on my car and there was no window scratch when I dropped it off for the detail. My other complaint, much like a customer below is I paid $400 for a full detail and that includes inside carpet cleaning, when I picked up the vehicle the windows were all rolled down about a 1/4" to let the car dry and of course when I rolled them back up later, the 1/4" was streaky and now dirty because they were rolled down when wet. Pretty strange when you pay that much to have a full detail done. I also always seem to have dried wax left over on my car after they do the detail, again when you pay $400 for a full detail, I shouldnt have to clean up anything or wipe down any wax residue.

I'm so grateful that I found Ultimate Custom Car Care! I first brought my Tesla in for a regular hand wash and they have done an amazing job. Then I decided to bring my truck that has lots of minor scratches due to off roading trips. they have done the exterior details work with buffing polishing and waxing. They've managed to get rid of all the scratches and my track paint looks and feels like a brand new car. They also went the extra mile and cleaned al the interior very well. I am so impressed!!! I'm definitely going to continue use their services for all my vehicles and I highly recommend them for any type of car cleaning service. Well worth it!

So fresh and so clean

Paid $44 for a full service carwash for my Bronco after getting back from a camping trip. Needless to say my car was in dire need of a cleaning both inside and out. They were detail oriented and finished in a reasonable amount of time. To be fair I'm ok waiting longer because the workers clean meticulously. What irks me is when you wait and still have to point out all the spots they missed- not the case with Ultimate Custom Care. The waiting room was clean and they provided free coffee and some magazines to read to pass the time. Upon completion they pull your car around front and off you go. I'm leaving my old car wash which is significantly closer and using Ultimate custom care going forward. The price is the same but they do a much better job and are more courteous.

Timely responsivness to a quote request Approximate cost and time allotted, matched when put to the test Truth be told, my first drive-by was a no-go Seemingly packed, I got the feels, though Car expert, I do not claim to be Basic knowledge, clean or dirty Established in 1993 You can read their history Coffee, magazine, a seat to wait The sound of water, vacuums, and cars - not a horrible fate Specializing in professional full service auto detailing, neat Returning customers evident, sweet Reminded me of when I was a kid Wash and wax the vehicles, helped my dad, I did To skip car wash fear and having to do it myself, nice I'd say it's worth the price Hard-working fellas with plenty to do in this place Remember patience and grace Restless near the end, I had to remember, too When he said, "Your car is ready," I was like... "Yes! thank you." Checked for scratches, for that was my biggest fear There were a few spots, but I think if buffed a little more, it would be in the clear Now, let's pray it does not rain And the birds don't do anything insane Overall, content and likely to return Maybe in the future, more about cars, I'll learn Give it a try, say hi to Steve, and enjoy your day A little kindness goes a long way!

Wax residue

I paid for the full detail package, ~$300. While the interior was detailed pretty well aside from some missed spots on the interior door handles. The outside definitely seemed to have been rushed. I spent about 30-60 minutes removing dried wax that was missed by whoever was detailing my car on my hood, A-pillars & rear driver side door. It wasn't difficult to remove, just not the quality I was expecting.

They failed to completely clean my vehicle before applying the ceramic coating! Both rear wheel arch moldings look like this, and I took the photo just after washing it. I've scrubbed, and the dirt is trapped under the ceramic coating.

Ask the Community - Ultimate Custom Car Care

Does your full service wash also include interior and exterior window cleaning?

Of course. Included in any service we provide.

How long does it take to mini-detail a civic on a saturday, especially if interior needs some tlc? Thank you!

Planning 3 hours is a safe bet.

For mini detail includes wash and wax and interior detail. but for full deluxe only include wash, interior, exterior but without wax, is it?

Hello, I would like to know if you guys are open for business today?

Sorry but we are closed for the holiday. Happy 4th.

Do you offer services for motorcycles?

Were sure do. Generally our regular wash and clean up is $30. We also provide complete detailing services of motorcycles that's around $175 to buff and polish painted and chrome surfaces, wheels, etc.

If my car has custom headlights, underglow lights, and vinyl wrapped pieces, would this be a great spot to come for a detailing? I'm trying to find a spot who can work around my headlights and wraps as I was told pressurized water could ruin them.

Absolutely. We can customize any detail or wash for you. Everything here is hand done without any excessive pressure or harmful scrubbing. Best place to take custom cars.… Read more

Do you use microfiber towels/cloths for the regular washes too, or is it only used for detailing services?

We use microfiber towels for everything except drying. We use Chamois for drying vehicles. All windows, waxing, paint, interior, doors, dashboards, touch screens, Etc are all microfiber towels.

How long is the usual wait time on a Saturday morning for a standard car wash? If I get there before 8 am do you think I'd be out by 9?

Standard wait time for a full service wash or wash and hand wax is generally about an hour and a half to two hours on a Saturday. We do get started washing at 8am, usually earlier is better. Thank you very much.

Will you guys be able to remove scratches on plastic doors and be able to make my tires look black again?

Scratches vary according to how deep they are in paint and plastic surfaces. These are dealt with on an individual basis. Tires always come out looking dark black and shiny with any service and tire dressing.

Do you recommend making an appointment for early mornings during the week?

We take appointments for detailing services, but our regular wash services are first come, first serve. Early morning is a good time to try and get in and out, but waiting times do vary. Details appointments can book a good week out, especially… Read more

It's just too expensive. However if you can afford it, as the name indicates, everything here is done by hand. This is important when it comes to car washes, as the process allows for greater attention to detail and an overall superior result. Mechanical car washes tend to be indiscriminate and rough. Plus if you have a really expensive car you would not want it getting messed up by a machine and this is the solution to that issue. If you have specialty paint, or your vehicle is unusual in some way, this is also a good option. I've seen all sorts of different cars here from huge trucks to lowered vehicles. They offer the full range of standard car wash services from basic car washes, to detailing and waxing, to headlight restoration. They also have a ceramic coating treatment which I have been considering.

I specifically asked for no interior dressing, yet the inside is so greasy it looks worse than before. The dashboard and surfaces are slick like a teenager's forehead. The exterior isn't any better. If you're charging premium prices, the results should actually reflect it.

We both smiled, and for a moment, the weight of the day felt lighter. Maria was also incredibly kind, cheerful, and welcoming. It reminded me that kindness doesn't have to be grand to make a difference. A smile, a little patience, and a few encouraging words can mean everything to someone who's struggling. The world needs more people like Isaac and Maria--people who perform random acts of kindness simply because they care. Thank you both for making my day a little brighter. I won't forget it.

Customer service starts with the first person you interact with, and his demeanor did not make me feel welcomed. That said, the actual car wash service was good, and my vehicle came out clean. However, I believe management should address the customer service at the front and consider improving the greeting experience, as it can make a big difference for customers returning to the business.

1 Star - Extremely Disappointing Service and Poor Handling of DAMAGE Claim…read more I went to Bristol Car Wash and had a terrible experience from start to finish. First, the car wash itself was poorly done. The exterior had visible water spots all over the windows and dashboard, and the interior cleaning was unacceptable. The inside windows were left with spots and there was water actively dripping down the glass when I got into the car. This alone would have been frustrating, but the situation became much worse. More importantly, my brand new 2025 Honda Prologue (less than two weeks old) was scratched next to the door during the wash. The damage was never mentioned to me by staff. I discovered it myself afterward and brought it to their attention. I spoke with the assistant manager, who had me fill out very questionable paperwork for a claim (some parts i refused to fill out) , but no refund was offered for the wash, even after reporting damage to a brand-new vehicle. I then went to Fountain Valley Collision for a preliminary assessment, and the estimated repair cost is $800-$1,000. While at Bristol Car Wash, it was obvious the facility was understaffed and overwhelmed. Cars were stacked up, employees were rushing, and at several points it looked like vehicles were about to hit each other. One employee kept running back and forth moving cars in a panic just to prevent collisions. This environment clearly led to careless handling. What made this situation worse was how Bristol Car Wash handled the follow-up after almost 2 weeks. Their response claimed: * The damage was already present before entering the wash * That their "100% hand wash" process makes this type of damage impossible * That the water spots were caused by hard water from sprinklers * This explanation is misleading and dismissive. My car is always parked inside my garage, not outside near sprinklers. The hard-water claim conveniently ignores this fact. Additionally, stating that damage is "impossible" during a hand wash is unrealistic--human error is exactly how damage does happen, especially when staff are rushed and understaffed. Offering two complimentary car washes in response to nearly $1,000 in damage is insulting, not a goodwill gesture. Their response shifts blame instead of taking accountability and completely avoids addressing the chaotic conditions I witnessed during service. I trusted Bristol Car Wash with a brand-new vehicle and left with poor cleaning, physical damage, and a dismissive response that blamed everything except their own operation. Overall, this experience shows poor quality control, lack of transparency, and an unwillingness to take responsibility when something goes wrong. I would not trust Bristol Car Wash with a new or well-maintained vehicle, and I strongly caution others to inspect their cars very carefully before leaving--if you choose to go at all. If you value your car--especially a new one--I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This experience was unacceptable.

A few days ago, my wife brought in our minivan for a full-service wash. When I later inspected the vehicle, I noticed excessive silicone had been applied to the tires -- to the point where it spun off and splattered all over the driver-side panels. The passenger side did not have this issue, which makes it clear the application was uneven and overdone. I returned to the location simply asking for a reasonable resolution -- not a refund, just a quick express wash to help remove the excess silicone that was clearly caused during their service. Unfortunately, the response I received was dismissive. The employee in the booth attributed the issue to "driving fast" and refused to offer any assistance. That explanation doesn't make sense given the uneven application, and more importantly, it reflects a lack of accountability. Mistakes happen -- I'm not upset about that. What's frustrating is the unwillingness to stand behind the work and make a simple situation right for a loyal customer. I'm sharing this so others are aware and so the business has an opportunity to improve how they handle customer concerns. I would have much preferred to continue coming here, but service recovery matters just as much as the service itself.
