Due to google reviews having a word count I can't get the full story out for everyone to see, but the good news is Facebook doesn't have a word count when posting to their reviews there. That being said this is by far the worst car buy experience I've ever had for about 37 different reason, they have dropped the ball more times than I can count and I've had to do a lot of follow up work to just get basic stuff done. They sold me a mechanically broken truck lots of worn suspension parts as well as a TQ converter that went out 1000 miles later, they messed up my paperwork at least 4 times and then made promises they couldn't keep more than once. Oh and to top it off they never filled my registration to the MVD so 6 weeks later I still have no plates and is no longer street legal because it expires tomorrow 10/28/25. I wouldn't recommend this place for a car purchase if it was the last place to buy in the PHX metro area. Please check their FB reviews before buying here! I'd give this place a negative 5 if I could. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Edit.... As of 11/7 I spoke with the owner because he wanted yo try a reconcile the situation, in the process he called me a perfectionist my expectations were to high for a 27k used truck and I was the problem and the outlier out of all of his customers. It was very insulting a rude and a huge waste of time due to him not responding after I sent him the final invoice of the repair bill to get the truck I owed for 1000 miles back on the road. 2nd edit... as of 11/20 he told me I never brought an of these issues up to him and his team and that It was my problem to solve. My son bought a $27,000 truck from this dealership, and the entire experience has been a nightmare. He put down a $5,000 deposit, and the truck came with only a 1,000-mile / 2-week warranty. Before that even expired, he called the backup finance manager because something was clearly wrong. He was told, "Don't worry about it." At 1,023 miles -- just 23 miles past the warranty -- the transmission failed, along with torque and suspension issues. Major failures like this do not develop in 23 miles. He was also required to purchase an after-market repair warranty due to his concerns about potential repairs, but when he contacted the provider, they told him verbally that they would not cover anything because the issues were pre-existing and the dealership already knew about them. Based on everything we've seen (our personal belief), it feels like the truck may have been purchased with known transmission problems, flushed, and sold hoping it would make it past the 1,000-mile mark. The dealership said he could bring it back, but they're 50+ miles away, refused to cover towing, and refused to acknowledge diagnostic tests performed by a certified dealership closer to home. Their previous "repair" involved sloppy silicone work, a ripped headliner, and then they blamed my son. He ended up paying another $5,000 at a legitimate dealership to replace the transmission correctly. Then the worst part: Owner Steve Gaines called my son and offered to pay for the repair ONLY if he removed his 1-star review. If you look at other reviews, you'll see the same pattern repeated by multiple customers describing similar issues and the same behavior from the owner. I suggest to buy a vehicle some place else. I had nothing but problems with the chevy avalanche I bought from them a month ago. It was leaking oil extremely,so I took it back to them and they said they fixed it the next day same thing oil everywhere so I took it back the second time they told me it is the rear main seal and tried to charge me 600$, luckily the finance company was on my side and now didn't have to pay the 600$ or i would have been ripped off because it is now still leaking and these guys were real rude about it. After all this i asked them for a work order receipt witch took them 2 days to get to me and the work order was total fake and made up what a joke.i will never buy anything nor will I send anyone there to purchase or have there vehicle worked on by them. I personally purchased a vehicle through this company as a 1099 employee. they've withheld my final paycheck since September 29th and refused to allocate my final check towards a payment of the vehicle purchased. they also went to the MVD site and removed me on the registration of the vehicle as per the AZDot representative. shady company. do not go here. do not do business with the Gaines Brothers. see the screenshot for yourself. theyre threatening to report the vehicle as stolen, but unfortunately I do have a binding contract to this vehicle. read more

I personally am troubled when people take advantage of other people. Especially cheating them out of money. It does not matter how wealthy a person is, no one likes to be cheated or taken advantage of 4 any reason. GB Automotive ( twenty third Avenue, Phoenix AZ ) has got to be one of the most dishonest businesses I have ever encountered in my life. If you want a reliable car...don't buy it here. If you want a dealership that stands behind its products...don't buy it here. If you don't like sales people with bad attitudes....don't go here. If you purchased a car from this facility and it breaks down almost immediately, don't expect any help from these people. They may not ever remember you who you R. car is okay sent a delivery drive here 14 hours with wires hanging out the front tires. that's where it started had a conversation with them they said they would see about getting me some.. never heard back.. month later had registration issues (my side of things) asked for a tag extension they informed me they would repo the vehicle if it wasn't up to date (I'm 2 days expired) I called the bank about this they said they would not. these guys are rude as f and act like the PD themselves. customer service is trash. cars are ok they did do the oil change and put synthetic blend instead of full so it burned fast. They arent good business they just want to make the sale then say fuck you Tim specifically! read more

I bought a vehicle from here in November of 2023. Within a few weeks I noticed steam coming out from under the hood. I checked the radiator but could not find any leaks but I did find that the cap was completely oxidized and needed to be replaced immediately. About a month later I went to change gears and it was completely locked up. I could not change it from park and needed to use the emergency safety device in order to get it out of park and into gear. I called the dealership and they told me how to fix the problem and I did so and took it in immediately to get it looked at and have it fixed. It was fixed for a couple weeks but then immediately froze up again and I had the same problem all over. About a month later I was taking it in and the car started drastically overheating. This time I had to have it towed in to fix not only the gear shifter but apparently I had to get a whole new radiator because they stated that the radiator had a hole in it and needed to be completely replaced. A couple months later a coil went out and the car could barely run let alone make it to the dealership. They did replace the coil but that's two tow trips at $140 each and did I mention when I went to pick it up the car would not shift gears and was once again locked in park? Take your chances here maybe you'll get a real gem but obviously I got a real lemon! I ended up putting a little over $4,000 into the vehicle including payments and repairs and that's exactly what it was listed for before I even bought it. I could no longer afford that so naturally I gave it back to them and they just sent a tow truck to take it away with my permission. Lastly I forgot to mention that it took 5 months to get a current registration and a license plate and they blamed it on the previous owner! read more

At the time of writing they're running a $25 oil change special comes to the free multipoint inspection. They told me a few things about the car that I already knew. Their pricing for labour isn't bad and they are friendly inside. Good customer service and was done basically I the exact time that I was told. No complaints. Good mom and pop shop. read more
