I've had bad luck finding a great provider in the area, as my past experiences with two providers were subpar. One was extremely disorganized and lacked the ability to follow-up to my concerns. The second provider I went to rushed through the exam (it was maybe 15-20 minutes), and she didn't really seem that interested in her patients - it felt like an exam factory. Dr. Chang at Optimum Vision Care was a complete 180. She actually took the time to discuss with me my questions and provided a high level of care and concern for my eye health. I did not feel like I was being rushed out the door. She had a great bedside manner and sense of humor. I also was confused about an exam fee and got a little bewildered, but Dr. Chang addressed my concerns on that as well. Totally my error in interpreting something and was satisfied with the level of professionalism by the entire staff. I was getting a little frustrated in finding an optometry practice to establish myself as a patient, so I'm happy I found Optimum Vision Care. I'll definitely be back!

I've never had this problem elsewhere, including getting pupillary distance or measurements that would allow me to get glasses elsewhere if I want. It's petty. Also much more expensive than some other places that make equally good lenses with good frame choices, and they don;t take insurance which is of course their prerogative. I hope to follow the optometrist elsewhere when they leave.

Dr. puts his patients first and goes out of his way to help them and answer their questions. No question is ever too stupid for him to answer- and he respects the inquiries of all of his patients. I always feel that I have received the right answer when I go to him. He also has a wonderful assistant called Angel - who is appropriately named as she is such a sweet woman!
