    Bland smoothie
    Victoria A.

12:30pm on a Saturday. This place was out of every smoothie expect 1 flavor. Out of protein. And then out of the beef empanadas... lol literally everything we came for. What's the point. How are you out on a Saturday? Busiest day & such a nice day in LB. Who's running the place, aren't you guys upset that you can't make additional money. don't think I'd come back. Oh also the smoothie we did get was extremely bland. tasted like coconut milk and ice. Short rib empanada & al pastor empanada was cold. 2 star because we were starving and just walked 2 mi, 7 mo pregnant and needed food and water. They gave us an extra water bottle

Stars for the location and the customer service. Nice and helpful staff. I wanted to try the flan Dulce de Leche.. but it wasn't available or they were out of it. So I opted for the Dulce de leche croissant. I do not recommend it at all. The overall pastry lacked the flakey buttery texture like a true croissant, and the filling wasn't almost non existent. I would come here again if I'm hanging at the beach just to give another chance and try something else.

After a peaceful Sunday morning stroll--three miles of ocean air and sunshine--we decided to pause for a quick breakfast at Gaucho Café. The location couldn't be better: just steps from the sand and surf, with the salty breeze drifting in as you sip and snack. Ordering is easy with the electronic menu displayed on the wall, and there's plenty of seating to choose from. The service was good and she was very polite. We grabbed a spot over looking the beach and enjoyed a breakfast sandwich while watching the waves. Right next to the café is an outdoor restaurant, and if you're in the mood for a different vibe, there's also a rooftop restaurant with views worth the climb. Bathrooms are conveniently located on the side, and a bike rental stand sits nearby--perfect if you want to pedal along the shore after eating. If walking isn't your plan for the day, no worries--there's plenty of parking available. Gaucho Café offers a casual, beachside start to the day with good food, fresh air, and the soothing soundtrack of the ocean.

Garlic herb fries very good nice and crispy.

I live in Long Beach one of the major food capitals of Cali I'm a major foodie and Shoreline has soo many places to eat on the beach choosing a restaurant is difficult. Located in downtown Long Beach on the beach with a large private parking lot the walk to the restaurant offers a view of people skating and playing volleyball. . The path is covered in sand and ironically I despise sand but I do love the beach you walk to the right and can sign in they will hand you a few menus and allow you to choose your own table it's clean and well staffed. Initially I wanted to place my order to go at the area where you order at the counter but the run around was horrible you can't order fish and chips at this spot only certain things like empanadas etc. I found a table with a view the waitress took a minute too take my order I saw her disappear and another a waiter gave me a cup of water. I ordered Fish & Chips and Ground Beef & Carne Asada Beef Empanadas and White Wine Sangria. I was asked if I needed anything several times by wait staffs and the manager the wait staff was awesome. The young lady who seated me handed me my sangria had tiny diced apples which tasted odd it was watery without a hint of the fruity notes I expected from a true sangria and the apples looked slightly brown for $8 (happy hour) I was underwhelmed. 4/10 Fish & Chips I asked for my fish to be extra crispy and immediately think is this fish done some of it looked clear in places and it needed seasoning the tarter sauce was thick and tasted good with the fries no worries I was planning on taking this food home anyway. 7/10 It reheated very well the next day in the air fryer. Chips were crispy garlic herb flavor I loved them. 8/10 Tarter Sauce mayonnaise based 7/10 Ground Beef Empanada Wasn't heated properly the dough was crunchy but it was cold and lacked flavor. 6/10 At home I seasoned and reheated it in my air fryer made a dipping sauce it tasted much better. 8/10 when air fried. Carne Asada This one had a nice flavor and the dough was crispy at home I added more seasoning and reheated it. 8/10 The sauces were Chimichuri sauce perfect with beef empanadas. 8/10 Overall I think this is a good restaurant the wait time was good I like the view on the beach its well staffed and has quite the variety of foods to choose from as well as appetizers drinks and happy hour specials but menu items can get pricy. I'm not sure I'll return but it was a nice visit on a hot and sunny day in California. Just me Shawn C.

Chilaquiles plate w added steak and strawberry lemonade.

The ambiance was definately not what they were advertising. There was absolutely not one oldie that played during my whole visit. The service was not great either slow and out of order. Had to ask for additional utensil and the employee was botherd by it- made a face at us when we asked. The food was not all that either for the price. The steak and calamari were good. The chilaquiles and eggs had no flavor at all. The view was ok.

If you're looking for the perfect vibe, delicious drinks, and an Instagram-worthy flight--this is THE spot! We ordered the margarita flight and not only were they absolutely stunning, but each one had its own unique, refreshing flavor. From tangy to sweet to spicy with Tajín-rimmed glasses--it was like a mini vacation in every sip. I'm celebrating my birthday! Our servers Antonio, Gio and Jennifer were attentive, the patio was gorgeous, and the atmosphere was just right for a girls' day out. Highly recommend we couldn't pick just one! Will 100% be coming back. Cheers to good drinks and even better memories! love you Sarah!!!! Thank you for coming all the way from H-town! To celebrate me

Menu looked great, they had smoothies, coffee, tea and bagels. I got the churro latte (so goood!!!!) my friends got the lavender matcha, and the açaí smoothie both said it was pretty yummy. Very cute location right on the beach with chairs and tables, connects to their restraunt which has drinks and dinner food and music. Nice ambiance for a perfect beach day!

Steak w fries, chimi sauce was soo good
    Vanessa H.

Steak was flavorful and fries were perfect. Drinks were good, (I get Virgin mocktails, friends get reg) only thing we have Feedback on is the wait times. Servers are friendly but sometimes would go anywhere from 20-30 mins without being checked in on. They were busy, but we did notice other tables being tended to more frequently. Either way, food and ambiance were nice. Will return!

A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Friendly staff (which comes with occasional karaoke renditions from the Bluetooth speakers), a chill vibe and outstanding drinks make this a top spot in the area for hardcore coffee lovers. I read a few reviews how it's spacious, however I found it to be smaller than I thought. Because of busy it was for a Friday morning, seating was limited as most people were there studying/working or socializing. Staff were very nice and friendly and worked quickly despite the rush. I ordered an iced banana latte and it was good! I would say it was more a hint of banana. I also tried their chocolate croissant which was a good size for breakfast and was perfectly toasted. Most people come here for their matcha so I'd have to give that a try next time. While there is a parking lot, parking was a bit challenging as this coffee shop is in the same lot as a lot of other businesses.

I wonder what # coffee shop this is for me…read more I picked out this spot because I saw via photos on Yelp that there is ample seating inside to do work. I ended up showing up around 12:40 and there were some people but not a whole lot. I was still able to fit me and my life at the table with my coffee. I landed on ordering the pistachio latte. I went on a whim with this because I'm such a Spanish latte girlypop. Ironicallly they're known for their Spanish latte, but I ordered the pistachio latte instead. We were feeling... experimental. And I'm so happy I did! I loved this coffee so much. I don't know what bean they use but it is amazing. It's so rich and smooth. The pistachio nut is nutty and more a background singer. Not overly sweet at all. It is definitely in one of my top coffees for sure. I definitely plan on coming back to this coffee shop for both the space and quality of coffee. Also I need to try the Spanish latte, duh. The only sad part was my friend ordered a blueberry donut & she said it tasted store bought and not good. I can't comment on that because I did not try it but I figured I would add it in here. There have a private room you can book as well! I didn't take a photo of it unfortunately but it's to the left of where the cashier is. Parking is on the street & they have two entrances. WiFi is available and I think there's 2 or 3 restrooms I don't remember lol

They have music playing and they way the main room is set up, you can hear the combined conversations that can get really loud. However, the music playlist is a vibe, I enjoyed it even though it was distracting lol They have new drinks based on the season so some items are only available for a certain amount of time but they also keeps their main menu up all year. I tried one of their new drinks- sakura matcha with vanilla cold foam. They charge extra if you ask to sub for oat milk, so 1 drink can really add up. The drink was okay, nothing really stood out to me. I don't think I would order it again. I would love to come back and try one of their lattes next time.
