Wanted to do a more current review. What an awesome place. Service is top notch now. You get a view of the Long Beach scene while having really good food and great drinks. Music is on point and plenty of seating. There is parking right behind the place and it's very affordable. Love this place. read more

The location is great, they had two big screens to watch the game, nice music vibes. The food was average, and below average. we had the shrimp taquitos and the fish and chips. I definitely do not recommend the fish and chips the food had no seasoning, the fish was greasy and soaked in oil, the chips were just saggy. They were nice enough to redo the fish, but it really did not make much difference. They did not have any of their beer specials. The taquitos were ok. Definitely do not recommend any seafood option, maybe one will have better luck with the burger options read more

I ordered fish and chips. The fish had absolutely no seasoning or salt & pepper. I told the waiter about it and he said they don't put seasoning on their fish because people complain. I spoke with the manager he also told me they had so many complaints about the seasoning on the fish. But when I ordered he never told me it was not going to be seasoning so when so when customers order you should let them know. If they would have told me upfront that the fish had no seasoning I would have ordered something else, but he did take half of my bill, but I was left still hungry, because I couldn't eat bland fish. So if you go here don't order fish & chips, unless you like bland food. read more

Disappointed in the service we received at Gaucho today. My friends and I are here every Friday, they know the staff and have built a relationship with them. Today, for a World Cup game, my cousin and I arrived when they opened to secure a good table. We were successful. We know the burden of customers being at a restaurant all day, so we made sure to order and make sure the business was still making money from us and tipping every hour. All this to say, once the first game was over, we were kicked out! We were told that we could not wait for the next game to start (mind you, the game we were obviously waiting for). Daniel, the manager, failed to disclose this information after racking up a $200+ bill. It's upsetting knowing a place that we enjoy spending time at would wait last minute to inform us of information like this, knowing that we planned to stay there for the later game. Yelp asks, what could this business improve? Change management (again) and maybe respect your loyal customers/locals. read more

Food was sad and mid Egregious prices for the quality Service workers were Jude but it took the food like 45 min to come out We needed to follow up read more

Went to GB to watch the USA v Australia soccer game. GB refused to show the English broadcast of a game between 2 English speaking teams. When asked about this the staff said "because it's an Argentine restaurant" this ignores the fact that the menu is in English, the marketing materials are in English. This was a ridiculous decision on their part! read more

My first visit to Gaucho Beach was such a great experience! The old-school R&B music created the perfect vibe, the weather was beautiful, and the view from our booth made it even better. Our server, Yesi, truly elevated the entire experience. She was warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the Nikkei ceviche and the mussels to start, and both were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect appetizers. For my entrée, I went with her recommendation of the ribeye, and I'm so glad I did. It was cooked perfectly, incredibly juicy, and easily one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. What impressed me most was Yesi's attentiveness. Even while managing several tables, she consistently checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Her genuine hospitality made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. I highly recommend Gaucho Beach for a girls' night, date night, or any special occasion. Between the amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service, it's definitely a place I'll be coming back to! read more

10.19.2024 - Bestiesx2 October Birthday Celebration @gauchobeach One of my besties really liked this spot and recommended for us to go there for a girls with our little girls' night out. When you enter, it's a seat yourself type of dining. All staff kinda was doing their own thing, so we went ahead and found a spot. They are an order by QR code type of dining. You can place an order with staff, but it might take a while for someone to come to your table. I wasn't too thrilled with the waiting staff because it felt very disconnected, but the food was delicious. They even have a kids menu, and one of the options is steak! Ambiance is awesome since the beach us right in front of you and there's also a playground a few steps away for the kiddos. read more

Such a cute little restaurant by the beach . Got seated quickly, the server was super nice and attentive. The Mussels were so good the sauce they had for it so delicious not to creamy or buttery , the mussels were Not too fish or chewy , just prefect. The guacamole was so good prefect favor. The ceviche was so fresh and filled with flavor the cucumber made it more refreshing. The chips were good as well crunchy and not too salty. The chilaquiles were okay . The coconut drink was OK taste like medicine in a way, maybe because of the Red Bull. The Mercado was so good refreshing. But definitely coming back to try other dishes. read more

Josue is a greater waiter! Food is delicious and drinks are really good. Very nice oceanfront restaurant.

We ate here tonight for Dine LA special and it was totally not worth it. the $55 price was not worth the quantity of food you received. The food was good and I will say the Lentil and Chorizo soup was outstanding. The price point on this was way too high as the dessert was only two five-inch churros that were very ordinary and the piece of sea bass was incredibly small. The price should have been around $35. They were very busy and service was very slow, our soup and entree hit the table together and it still took almost two hours total from sitting down to eat there. read more

While walking on the beach, a couple of friends and I saw this spot and decided to try it for lunch. We all ordered iced tea and I love that they bring a carafe to the table! We also had some chips and guac, gotta order the Guac! My friend and I shared a gaucho burger and we each got a gaucho salad which was delicious. You just can't beat lunch on the beach! Service was pretty good considering there were only 2 people working! read more
