The order made in person was more expensive than via yelp. When we realized I had a double one they had no issue canceling one. The food was pretty good. This was a basic salad and a cup of chili so for a meal under $10 I was pretty impressed. Especially the chili was excellent, not watery but nice thick and flavorful. We went on a Monday night at 6:30 and were seated right away. It was decently busy due to their endless bone-in wings deal on Mondays. Our server was friendly and the food was served in a timely manner, including the continuous orders of wings. The atmosphere was slightly loud, but we were outside, so I'm not sure if inside is better. I ordered the half rack of ribs with fries and tater tots. The ribs were alright, nice flavor, but there was little pieces of bone in the meat that I kept having to pick out. Also was a small struggle to get meat off the bone. The fries were good and so was the ranch though ranch is an up charge. The tater tots probably were from a freezer bag of premade tots, evident from their texture and flavor (or lack thereof). My meal also came with garlic toast but it was incredibly salty. My husband loved the endless wings and enjoyed trying all the different flavors! I would come back for the endless wings deal and probably wouldn't order the ribs or tater tots again. I've always been a fan of Gator's Dockside, but my recent experience at the Baldwin location was incredibly disappointing. The nachos came out cold and barely had any toppings. We also ordered the loaded fries, which were topped with unmelted sprinkle cheese--it wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese! The wings were over-fried, and I was served a glass of wine that was a completely different brand than what I ordered--it tasted awful. To make matters worse, our server was absent for most of the meal. I had to track her down three different times just to order additional food. While I didn't want to make a scene in front of the couple we were dining with, the lack of quality in the food and service was extremely frustrating. This particular Gator's Dockside is a great location situated in Baldwin Park. This is truly a great location and I am sure that other Gator's Dockside locations are quite envious of this location. The staff here are friendly and professional and only added to the overall experience. The menu here is centered around bar type food options (or if you prefer the term "pub grub"), but they do this food options justice and the food is pretty tasty. I have always enjoyed their Buffalo wings and the hamburgers are also something that I would recommend. Gator's Dockside is a great Florida chain of restaurants with quite a few locations (according to their website, they have twenty-seven locations throughout the Sunshine State). This particular Gator's Dockside is a great location and I would definitely recommend this location. read more

Lots of shops and restaurants in the area, so I had to park a couple blocks away. Upon arrival, I requested to sit outside. They have an outside patio across from Lake Baldwin. Many people were outside with their dogs on the patio. (Inside had a strong chemical cleaner smell.) TVs are located inside and outside playing sports, and there are some games inside, too. We ordered the 10 bone-in sweet BBQ wings and the 8 boneless traditional Buffalo. Both come with fries, and their fries were banging! We ordered plenty of drinks: cucumber martini, whiskey peach, paloma, and margarita. It was our mistake to sit outside during Florida summer heat. I wish there were more fans outside that would have made it more comfortable and we would have stayed longer. Best part was that you can pay remotely. It was my first time coming to this sports bar... I liked the atmosphere because it's very family friendly, it even has a beach vibe. When I got there, there were several games playing at the same time in many TV's, so it was nice that everyone could watch what they wanted in the same place. We order some drinks and wings, probably one of the best wings when it comes to sports bar (the honey sauce is great)! The service was great, and I think I will definitely come back for a football game to watch it with some friends for next time. The view was also a highlight of this place, my husband and his friends told me that when he gets cooler outside the outside porch is even better (so note that for the fall). After being seated, the greeter forgot to advise the wait staff that we were sat, so we didn't see anyone for a bit to take our orders. Which seemed odd since the place was about empty. However, when our server did arrive, we could tell that she did not want to be there. After ordering, which included two appetizers, we waited about 25 minutes until the food arrived including the appetizers with the meals. Normally the appetizers come before the meals? Unfortunately my Wife's order was wrong (who puts raw mushrooms on a burger), the food was cold and the mozzarella sticks and fries may have been cooked in old oil, yuck! Not sure what happened to this restaurant. I normally could overlook the freezing temperatures, because my family liked setting, but lately it has gone downhill and I noticed this last time I did not recognize anyone from our previous visits. I was served a pile of noodles in cheese grease with sliced chicken on top. The chicken was good, didn't taste Cajun seasoned at all though. The sauce was basically melted Parmesan and grease. I ate a few bites before it was too much. It was also very loud, which was to be expected from a sports bar but the TV volume was bordering on too much. Located close to the lake in Baldwin Park they are a good option for burgers, wings, and the like. They have a full bar offering, as well as, happy hour if you come at the right time. I recommend sitting outside so you can enjoy the water view, but it can get warm if the day is hot. I'm a fan of their salads, burgers, and wings. These are all good options for a meal. They had some good reviews on Uber and here on Yelp it was a hit or miss. It just depends I guess on everyone and their experience, ours was great. The wings were very tasty and cooked! Fries were nice and crunchy! Which is what I loved the most. The fish was good, I do wish it was a little more crunchy but since it was Uber eats of course it got cold and soggy, I had to put it in the air fryer. The brownie was delicious!! No complains there. We have always loved Gator's Wings, grilled with scooter sauce. While ours today were served piping hot, they seemed bland. We also ordered celery with bleu cheese. We were served old stalks with brown edges and ends. Even our server said "that's retarded." He replaced them, but still! We were weary of coming here because of potential limited food options at a sports bar. We came with friends and next door restaurants had very long waits so this was one of our only options without having to drive somewhere else. The girl who sat us asked if the table directly next to another party was okay, I asked if we could have the next one. Later on, a party was sat directly behind us. Popped by here since I was around the area. Checked out a few other places down the road before hand but settled on this place due to the variety of food available. There were people waiting outside so we made the mistake of joining the queue and was given a buzzer. Was told 10-20 minutes wait. Decided to take a chance and wait anyway. It was definitely more than a 20 minute wait. When we were finally called in, we were told that it will still be a bit slow for our food. They were definitely right about that. Only ordered small dishes with the hope it would come out faster. Was wrong about that as we still waited another 30 minutes for our combo platter and fries to come out. It took us 15 minutes to demolish the food since overall we'd waited nearly an hour (and I was getting a bit hangry by then) from putting our name down to getting the food. Don't get me wrong, the food we ordered was decent. The fries were nice and crunchy and very good value for $2.99. The only downfall is the wait time, so don't come here expecting to be let in and getting your food quickly. This was on a Monday though, the day after New Year's Day where some people probably had time off work and was most likely a bit more busier than usual. read more
