All the other claw machine places I have been to put the number of tokens needed on the display by the controls. and it's usually two, three or four for the keychain size to mediumish stuffed animals. This place puts the credits needed on the tap pad lower down on the machine. I didn't realize that a machine could be 18 tokens, (all on a card by the way so you are less likely to keep track of how many tokens are left) at first. The small stuffed animals claw machines are 5,6, and 9 tokens to try. This place is way too expensive. We had a better experience and won more fun toys at the claw places in the Burlington Mall and The Mall of New Hampshire. read more

Had to finally swing thru after seeing so many social media posts when they first opened. The kiddos there with fam seemed to be having a good time. We came strictly for the gatcha claw games. Booked it on a $50 /175 credit game card, plus activation fee. Then realized their credits per try was 24 credits on the labubu so they definitely raking it. I've been to other gatchas where it's $10 for 7 tries. Much better value on authentic labubu. It's alright i get it make your money. Just wont be for us in the future. We did hit a sonny angel blind box though! They also have the pop mart blind boxes for resale in their prize section. Gatcha was exactly what made me drive 40 min to Square One Mall! I kept seeing videos of the stuffed animals others would win from here, as well as LABUBUS!!! So, actually it was a bit underwhelming in person. Honestly, it's a very small space and didn't have that many claw machines in reality. I was under the impression that it would have rows and rows of machines filled with different prizes. Turned out to be only like 10-15 machines. If you win two small stuffed animals, it counts as a ticket toward a bigger prize you can redeem. If you win bigger stuffed animals, they can count as one or two tickets depending on which ones they are (they have labels on each machine). We decided to try our luck with $50/175 credits. The Labubu machines are honestly not worth playing, in my opinion. Unlike the neighboring machines, the claws for the Labubu boxes don't have grip (likely on purpose lol). Also, ~24 credits each play for the labubus, which is around $7 (3.5credits/$1 I'd get $50/175 credits). I've played claw machines for labubus that aren't Gatcha brand for much better prices. For example, $10 for 7 tries... which 7 tries here for labubu box claw machine would equate to ~$49. $10 vs $49, no bueno. Even though I didn't get to score a labubu this day, I did start off strong and hit a Cherry Blossom Sonny Angel on my first try, so that was great ;) Every time you win a prize from the claw machines, you have to notify the staff so that they can unlock the machine to give you your prize. Verdict: Would I come back again? Probably not. Pretty pricey for what it is and limited stuffed animal options. read more

Gatcha is an claw machine arcade with an indoor playground. It is located inside of the Square One mall on the second level. There is plenty of parking. I have been waiting so long for this place to open. I my children on a weekday night after picking them up from school. There were not too many people there so that was a plus. I recommend the play package that allow you about half an hour inside the playground area and also credits to use on the claw machines and arcade games. With two kids admission, plus socks for both kids (required), it came to about $50. I think half an hour was plenty of time for them to play inside the playground. Wristbands are given and must be worn while playing in the playground area. I think it's color coded by time but I could be wrong. For the arcade area, there is a huge selection of claw machines. There are so many cute plushies of all sizes. There is a basketball arcade game and a dance game at the back. My kids enjoy the dance game because they have been playing Just Dance games since they were young so they are definitely not shy at all. There is a vending machine with drinks and small snacks as well. I think folks without children come here for the claw machines. We ended up winning on our third attempt with the claw machines. Which was really lucky! Definitely a well spent $50. I can't wait for my daughter's play date. I will most likely hold her birthday party here next year. There is not much to desire at the Square One Mall these days but I am so happy to see this latest addition. I hope it brings the mall back to life. read more

I was interested in bringing my 3-year-old to the ball pit, so I called ahead since the website doesn't provide much information. I was told it was $14 for 30 minutes. During the call, I was also told that older kids (10+ years old) are often in the ball pit and play area, and that it can sometimes be rough around younger children. This is where dreams go to die. Check their fb or ig for occasional discounts. Machines aren't filled much and it's harder to win prizes compared to other claw machine arcades. Win rate is roughly 1 plushy for every 100 credits. Plushy machines are mostly 6.2 credits each but some are 7.5, 15, and there are a few negligible machines that are fewer credits. Occasionally, staff would move plushies around. Just remember that the house always wins. The reason their Google reviews are so high is because they give a 10 credit incentive for anyone that writes a review. read more

Gatcha in the Square one mall is Okay. It's just okay . It's really good to see companies trying to put life back into that once great mall because it's really falling apart at the seams. Anyway, We watched as another party went in as they opened. They had a kid interested in the play area. Once the manager told them they had to sign a disclaimer form I backed out from paying for my two kids to use it. Instead we played the claw machines and came home with a bag of plushies. The manager was sort of nice He said since we won so much the bag was free. Puzzling. ... Would we have been charged had we not won so much? This place is tinier than expected Perhaps 20 claw machines a basketball game and sort of VR device makes up the arcade part of this place. I know the company originated in Japan but perhaps if they had more of the more popular and recognizable prizes in their claw machines they'd have more customers . They had a Bulbasaur that my son won they had a giant charmander that I didn't win and I saw a Pikachu . But perhaps some additional popular characters from Nintendo like Super Mario would be beneficial. Anyways I'll probably try this place again. But since there are other arcades bigger and with more things to do within a short driving range from this place, it'll have to be at a time where I find myself already doing something else in the square one mall. read more

We went to this place because we saw it advertised on Facebook. When you first walk in it definitely is a little overwhelming because people are asking you how you found out about them. It's very social media heavy which isn't a bad thing. But you're supposed to get a bunch of credits if you do follow them and I didn't get anything and I found them through Facebook. This is only for their grand opening. Anyways, the play place is super cute. It almost could be a little kiddish and I was worried about my 11-year-old walking around but he did his own thing. The different elements are very cool, like the trampolines with the basketball, The throwing of the ball through the rings, All the air things that turn on with the ball And the big screen that you hit the ball against. My only reason for the five stars is definitely the arcades. Lots of people are winning them. It's definitely rigged but every arcade is. I don't like that they get laid down so making it nearly impossible to get them. They also are pretty expensive as most games are 6.2 credits and you only get 21 credits for ten dollars. I would definitely be back but maybe not for the arcade. read more

This Indoor play space inside Square One Mall was safe, clean, and funnn. My kids loved it. The supervisor Brian was helpful, professional and committed to his job (you could tell). The $18 cost for 60 mins play was a tad expensive, but worth it. We didn't have time to use the other toy machines, etc. Bonus, the food court is right across the hallway. read more

All of the videos posted on social media show fully stocked machines and licensed characters. in person, it was a much different story. The store should stock the claw machines at night to be ready for opening the next day. many machines weren't worth playing because there wasn't anything that could be grabbed. This location looks to do well with the kid play space, but they're not going to be successful with their claw machines if they aren't able to keep them stocked. read more

Terrible service. This is our first time in here. And we don't know how the price works. No one in the front desk told us anything. So that we paid price for kids to play in the playground first and my purpose there is for claw machine. So after paying that I asked how to pay for the claw machine and how much is it? The front desk told me that they have bundles deal. I asked if I can purchase that instead? He refused! The reason is I already paid for playground.
