I rented their Gaming Truck for my nephews bar mitzvah last week. First off, the truck arrived 30 minutes late and the "host" didn't seem to have much of an explanation as to why he was late. The console controllers were very run down and my nephew complained they were sticky. Lastly, the truck took up half the block!!! It caused an issue with parking up and down my street. 1/5 stars. I rented out one of East Coast Gaming's trucks for a 3 day long charity event on city hall plaza in Boston. Javier and Harmony were awesome!! They were so accommodating of all my needs and were friendly and very easy to work with through the whole event. The truck itself was extremely nice. It was perfectly clean and all the equipment worked great. Everyone at the event loved the truck and had a blast playing all the games! Thank you East Coast Gaming! I wanted to do something a little different for my employees at work, and these guys were recommended to me through a friend. It was a great way to bond with coworkers. Rates were very reasonable, truck and trailer were clean and taken care of, staff was amazing and very catering to any needs we had, and were quick to help at any point. My son had a birthday party today and I was under the impression that since it was a GAMING truck they'd be able to play the most popular game right now which is fortnite. Once my son and most of his guest realized this he was over the truck and decided to play basketball instead. I paid $457 for my son and his friends to play basketball in the yard. Had I known this game wasn't available for them to play I would've saved my money. If you're looking to get this truck for fortnite purposes SAVE your money. read more

On the morning of my son's birthday party with another mobile gaming company, the other company cancelled (the truck broke down). In a panic, we called East Coast Gaming. E. Coast Gaming was awesome and moved some things around to make it happen for us. They personally drove the truck to our house and literally saved my son's 9th birthday party. We just had our first party with East Coast Gaming, and everything went great! They came a little early to set up, started and ended on time, and all the screens and games were working smoothly with no issues. We had about 2 dozen kids and two gaming coaches to help out, who were both friendly, helpful, patient, and professional. It was great to have the party come to us, and not have to set up anything (aside from food). The kids had a great time! read more

Huge disappointment. My son was so excited to have an East Coast Gaming truck for his birthday. The booking process was easy and they arrived right on time - but those are the only positives. They sent one "host" instead of 2 as stated in their package. This "host" appeared to have never been around children before. He didn't interact with the kids once - opting to sit in the corner of the truck for 90 minutes texting on his phone, blatantly ignoring the kids. I had to keep coming into the truck because the kids would come out to say that the guy wouldn't talk to them or put on any games they wanted and that he was just sitting looking at his phone. The worst part is the response I got from management. I emailed after the party to say how disappointed I was in the service. Their response was to tell me that they adjusted the hosts from 2 to 1 because we only had 12 kids, not 16, which is their max, so they decided that we only needed 1 (I was never asked whether I wanted to downgrade to 1 host. I paid the price for 2) and management dared to inform me that the kids had a wonderful time and that the party was a great success. Really?? Based on what conversations with these kids they've never met, exactly?! My actual conversations with the kids were unanimous that the host ignored them for the entire party, that the games were very old (they had no new game editions. MLB the Show was v 2017...no Fortnite...etc etc), and that they had a terrible time (most notably the birthday boy who was embarrassed by how bad it was and sad because he knew it had cost a lot of money). I would seriously avoid this place. read more

RIDICULOUS!! Called them to book a party for my 8 year old. I understand they want a $100 deposit and was ready to pay it. Then she told me the entire balance is due the DAY BEFORE the event. Frankly, even though I have hired live entertainment and services many times and never run into that, I told her I would be willing to do it if she would email me, providing me a re-booking discount if they don't show up. Not only did she tell me off and recommend I check her competitor, but she HUNG UPON ME. Nice. Nice way to do business. I think it's perfectly reasonable to pay a deposit, but no protection whatsoever on $345 if they no-show????? read more
