They are always helpful. Recently, I had a 10+ yr used hot tub with an impeller motor that broke and which needed a seal. After taking the part out, I brought it to them and they fixed it for a really reasonable price! I've had a 16x32 pool for forty years. I bought a solar cover to replace the old one which was falling apart. They only last a few years. The new one was the lightest weight cover I ever bought. I put the cover on, turned on the pump and the cover started moving "downstream" Turned the pump off, and tried to adjust the cover so that the one end by the return was on the deck. Ordered a hot tub from them and they said it would be here end of may. Then moved it to end of July. They don't call you on updated stating "sorry there's a delay" no they just leave you wondering. If you call for an update because the tub is not delivered when stated it would be, you are Met with ignorance and a rude tone even though you just spent thousands. I am very upset with this place. We ordered a hot tub juzzi fr them in February 2021.And everytime we call them we get nothing but the run around.We can't even get a date as to when we will have it. Very Disappointed. My husband and I looked at above ground pools in early March. We thought Dave in Amherst the manager was great initially explaining and the prices were right! We went to a variety of pool places that I wish we chose instead. We were told if we bought a pool we would get a free cleaner if we stored the pool at our house. He said that it frees up the warehouse space. Unfortunately that was not honest business. My husband bought a 15 foot pool in March and was told we would get it mid April. That time came and went without any contact via email or phone call. My husband and I have tried getting a definite date NUMEROUS phone calls. We always seem to get the run around. Now we are being told by Dave possibly mid June. We have an install date June 30th. That is the date I want it installed. I am NOT happy and will not do business with this company again after spending $3,000. read more

We bought a special order jacuzzi hot tub in 2019 From Gary's. They told us how to wire it. Our electrician wired it the way the wanted, said we needed to reword it the other way, we had him come back and rewire it. We kept blowing the fuse. garys came several times. We had to bucket empty the hot tub when it was in the single digits, since the water in the hose would freeze before it drained out. Couldn't use it for 3 weeks. They ended up replacing the motherboard. Within the first 6 months. Now my circulation pump is dead within 1 1/2 years. Gary's was too busy to fix it and they gave me another guy to call, Don, who took my information down 2 weeks ago hasn't called me and doesn't answer the phone. I would not recommend Gary's or a jacuzzi tub. The service is horrible. read more

Can't say I will ever purchase anything again from this location. It is absolutely filthy. You'd think with the high cost of their merchandise, they'd take some of that profit and put it into building improvements. The ceiling tiles are falling or buckling and the ones that aren't, are water stained. The carpeting is stained and threadbare. There is stuff everywhere, merchandise and junk, including an apparently non-working dirty box fan leaning against a floor fan (neither were merchandise for sale). To put what can only be viewed as high end merchandise in such shoddy surroundings does not do justice to either; the building, both inside and out, looks dilapidated and the furniture looks wildly out of place. Add to that the lack of customer service and it does not create a happy shopping experience. read more

I always go to Gary's pools, they always have the parts I need. I've never had a bad experience and service is always great people are great. I was mystified by the people that reviewed them poorly, when I looked at the other reviews those people posted most were negative negative reviews, your constant complainers. read more

I recently was contacted by my original sales person Eric. He said that he was very sorry that someone had given away my pool. He was not at the store when it was given away to another customer.Than he told me that he was willing to give me a decent discount on the display model that they had offered before.I since have accepted his offer and am waiting for my pool to be delivered. Horrible experience at Gary Pools. Their " Truck Load Sale" should be renamed "Dumping our Old, Over Priced Stuff Sale" . I complete scam. They have huge retail prices on the Jacuzzi hot tubs, then claim they are give you 50% off. At the 50% off they are now competitive with Hot Springs tub of the same size, which is a far better brand of tub. I have had a Hot Springs hot tub for 24 years with out a service call. The Jacuzzi tub I purchased from Gary Pools at the "Truck Load Sale" has been service 6- 7 times in my first year. Here is the thing, Gary Pools just sell the Jacuzzi tub and they do NOT service it. It is serviced by a completely different company. So Gary's just has to get the tub in your backyard and you are stuck with it. Gary is done with you and it is passed on the the service company. Gary could care less about you. My ripped cover the jets falling out, the UV warning light, the discoloring of the handles, the broken heater and radio are all the service company problems. The service company did, over time, fix everything but for supposedly a new tub this should not be happening. Early on in the problems I confronted one of the employees because the manger was not there, he refereed to my tub as a "showroom model". My truck load sale purchase was not indeed a new tub but rather had been running on the show room floor for over a year. I know that because the factory gave me the ship date on my exact serial number tub and it was over 18 months ago. I wanted to return it because of all the problems and the fact that it was used but neither the factory rep or the factory would help. Like I said you are stuck with it. Another important fact is Jacuzzi does not make the tub. They license their name to Sundance Spas to make their outdoor hot tubs. Everything is bad about Gary's Pools. Buy anything else and not from Gary's . Next time I will buy another Hot Springs. read more
