    Mac and cheese...amazing garlic bread

When we arrived with our group of ten, the restaurant was almost completely empty. We were seated in the back room. The front room was really bright with lots of windows. We were seated in the market part of the store. Our server was very nice, and the food was good. It was a really slow meal. We were there for about an hour and forty minutes. Drinks were very slow to come out. Only about half of our group ordered meals and they were also incredibly slow to come out. Everyone enjoyed their meals, but it was just way too long to wait for lunch.

Definitely recommend! I was traveling for work and came here by myself. I was able to get a nice high top by the window. The service was fast and friendly. The quality of the food is what wowed me the most. I wish I came here with a larger group so I could've tried more items. The braised beef ravioli was cooked perfectly and the creamy sauce complimented it so well. It came with a side salad or soup - I got the side salad. Best side salad I've had in years! Fresh veggies, quality cheese, tasty croutons and ranch was to die for. The lava cake was very good for a gluten free item! They also have a great wine list! I enjoyed two different reds - the house cab and the Seghasio Zin.

Gardina's Kitchen & Bar had been on our radar for a while and last weekend we were finally able to give it a try. The service was attentive but not oppressive. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. Shout out to Dalton for his welcoming personality and hard work. We requested a high-top table along the street for a bit of scenery. Dalton gave us some recommendations on signature cocktails, and also took care to pace out the meal so all our food didn't arrive at the table at once. These nuances really elevate the dining experience. We started off with the Creole lobster dip which was phenomenal with chunks of lobster and a slow burn with the spice. Then we had the butternut squash bisque that packed a ton of flavor without being too heavily laden with dairy. For main entrees, I went with the garlic & chive New York strip steak while my wife went with the shrimp prosciutto fettucine. My steak was cooked to an impeccable medium-rare and seasoned very well. My wife's pasta dish was a bit lacking in substance and flavor, stating that it wasn't necessarily bad enough to send back but just ok. We then finished off the meal with red wine and the raspberry dark chocolate torte that was both decadent and indulgent. Overall, we were pleased with this establishment. I would definitely consider coming back to check out a few other offerings on the menu. Also, they have a liquor market in the back of the restaurant that keeps a formidable selection wines and spirits. Notably, the bourbon variety was impressive with competitive prices. Admittedly, I signed up for the Bourbon Insiders Rewards Club.

There's 2 hour free parking nearby. This is a restaurant where you find seating yourself and the staff will come to you. This is where we waited a while to get served. We got the starter, Pear, Prosciutto, & Brie and the Gardina's Seasonal Risotto with Salmon. The food took longer than expected to come out. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the food. This has to be the best risotto I've had!

    Mmm....

I wanted an elevated lunch, was an easy going day. Walked into the restaurant excited they were open for lunch. I came alone, so i sat at the bar. Restaurant had a few customers maybe 2 tables max. Ordered a Tom Collins, stumped the bartender. Was under whelmed by my lunch the pear brie appetizer and the seasonal rissotto. Nothing spectacular. But what really dissappinted me was the staff that just stood around. Photo speaks for itself, just disgusted wont go back.

Food was amazing! Service was well paced. The only downfall is that indoor seating was a long wait so we opted to eat outside and the chairs/tables are not sturdy enough to be actively cutting a steak on. I would recommend swapping those out for more comfortable seating and a table that wouldn't rock/shake/feel unstable while cutting.

The food and service here is excellent. I do however have some suggestions for the owner/manager of this fine establishment. It appears that Gardina's is trying for an upscale fine dining vibe. Maybe gastropub? With that in mind: 1: Trade the paper napkins for cloth. 2: Dress code for the waitstaff. Gardina's T-shirt's are fine....pair them with khaki slacks, shorts, skirt, capris.... Doesn't matter. The current mish mash of denim doesn't work. 3. Trade the plastic greenery for fresh flowers or even potted succulents. The crab cakes were the best I've had in about 10 years. The flatbread was fantastic...love the crust! Specifically saved room for the raspberry torte...and happy we did. It was scrumptious. The flavors, textures and presentation on everything was very good. Make the few changes/additions, adjust pricing accordingly and this will be a top notch place for a relaxing, upscale evening. PS: love the market in the back!!

I just waited 45 minutes for lunch that I just gave up on. Place was empty and there was hardly anyone there. Lame.

The beautiful bar area was filled and they had reserved a table for us near the fireplace. Allie was our server and we will be back just to visit with her! She was super friendly, efficient, and kept checking back with us to replenish drinks and food as needed. The seafood bisque soup was piping hot and so flavorful. Two of us had the Black Forest sandwich which were overflowing with meat (ended up taking half home for later!) The Deluxe burger was juicy with mushrooms and onions, cooked to perfection, and the Chalice sauce was delicious. I should have taken photos of the food but to be honest we inhaled everything while we kept talking. Again Allie was a consummate professional--she made sure we never had to ask for a refill -- she was just there when we needed her. We will be back again!

I'm not sure if they take reservations but if you really want a table check in advance. The drink selection is great. The food menu is heavily geared towards sandwiches and burgers. Given the vibe, I'd love to see a bit more main course menu items. That said, the appetizer we got was a potato thing (starts with a W) and it was phenomenal. Lots of seasoning with onions, and a huge quantity. A few could easily share and careful you might get full. Also great as a family style side for the table.

There were quite a few fast food and sandwich options close, but this had more a super club vibe which we were after. We weren't disappointed! They served prime rib on Thursday and red meat sounded like a perfect choice. Dinner started with a choice of two sides, so I had a cup of the Chicken Andouille and rice soup which warmed my heart. It was delightfully spicy. The prime rib was done to perfection and the au jus was flavorful. My wife had the pretzel crusted salmon with a mustard sauce on the side, asparagus and mashed potatoes. She hadn't had salmon done that way before and thought it was great. Will definitely return our next trip to Oshkosh.

This restaurant is also right next to an airfield with a large outdoor seating section. We came for dinner & the sun was already down, although it was still 70 degrees outside we sat inside. Our hostess asked us if we wanted anything to drink & we just asked for water, she promptly brought us 2 plastic cups of water. This was just a bit strange to me because all of the other tables around us, had glassware. Our server was great, when I asked for recommendations he had several, including the French dip, the Hangar curd burger, & the Tuscan chicken penne. The Friday night special was Fish Fry but I was not in the mood for anymore fried food. My husband ordered the French dip & I decided to try the pan fried Walleye since I've never had Walleye before, which is a local fish. My husband really enjoyed his French dip, and it was a really good size portion, stuffed with thin slices of roast beef, sautéed onions & mushrooms & melted mozzarella cheese. The French bread was lightly toasted & the au jus was tasty. I really enjoyed my pan fried Walleye entree. The fish was nice and light and they cooked it with the skin on but really crisped it up. It was served on a bed of pesto mashed potato's and topped with sautéed spinach & blistered grape tomato's then drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Lots of flavor & great textures. I was very satisfied with my choice. I'd definitely recommend this place.
