Come back to actually eat this time. Mid week so we didn't have a weekend crowd, we picked an open spot in the dining room. Judy was our waitress and came over to find out what we wanted. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and their famous broasted chicken. And boy was it good! My husband had a bloody and was satisfied with it. It was not over the top amazing and it was not terrible. Sunday's this place boasts to be a great place for bloodys and chicken. I think I will be back for both. Franko is an exceptional bartender. We were only in one other time with friends and he remembered what we drank! Vodka and whisky. There is no leaky roof here. The drinks are stiff enough to still be refreshing. This place has a large following of many locals. And now I know why! Judy our waitress had a great sense of humor for being the only server. We will definitely be back!

After having a not so good experience, we decided to try this place down the road. The wait for a Friday is expected. The waitress was very attentive and actually took our order before we got seated so by the time we sat down it came right out. Good broasted chicken and perch dinners.

First time in Wisconsin, was encouraged to try the Friday night fish fry. After scouting out a few places, landed here based on the pics. The place was hopping when we got here. While waiting, we had a Captain Morgan with coke and an Amber Bock, possibly the best thing we had. We ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer and a perch dinner with roasted potatoes. The mushrooms were perfectly browned and the batter was good. Unfortunately, the mushrooms were obviously frozen and some had not cooked all the way through. The perch was perfectly browned and good. The roasted potatoes may have been the best part of dinner. I have some favorite pubs that serve delicious meals, this was slightly above average. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. Note, the best fish'n'chips I ever had was in the Orcas Island in Washington. That's the standard for everything else. I recently had fish'n'chips at a reputable restaurant which I would rate a 1 star. My father-in-law, who lives in MO, makes some of the best fresh fried lake trout which I'd rate 4 1/2 stars. Overall, I'd rate my experience 3 1/2 stars if I could.

Great bar and bar top tables or dining room:)

Good drink prices typical Friday night fish fry. Really good. Waitress was a bit slow but obviously young and new so non issue.

The best Tuna streak in the area. Definitely a must. Rare to medium is fantastic. Also Jenny is the best!

Fish fry on Friday is always outstanding. Little pricey for the food but portions are reasonable. Tavern is always active.

Great people and even better food. Fish Fry is great for the money, some of the best prime rib, can't beat the brostead chicken

Personally I recommend the unlimited beer battered haddock on Friday's or the prime rib sandwiches are also really good.

Gorgeous space right on the lake and even though we were there in winter, it was still a pretty sight to look out the windows. The restaurant was packed with regulars and the it was a fun Friday night, I'm glad they took reservations. We started out with drinks, which had a separate menu. Not the easiest to navigate for the specials as they just had funny names and not what was in it. Overall my old fashioned was super sweet due the maple syrup, so I would probably just stick with your usual order. As for the food, the CHEESE CURDS were truly some of the best that I've had! Ooey, gooey, deliciousness! Perfect crunch and also melted in your mouth. The menu itself is very extensive and there is something for everyone to eat. I appreciated that most of the entrees came with a soup or salad, though I will say that none of the food absolutely wow'ed me. The dessert was interesting. The brownie was classic and the gluten free cheesecake..was gluten free. Very strange in my opinion, but appreciate that they have it as an option. Overall, I would definitely come here for a fish fry, a drink, and I can totally see this place hopping in the summer.

Gabby was our server, she was terrific! The food, however...huge disappointment! The gumbo was watery and not given the time it needed to meld the flavors just right. I had the Walleye with a cauliflower sauté...the fish was very good, but the cauliflower sauté was OVERWHELMED by a ridiculous amount of bacon (unmentioned in the description.) I'm glad I wasn't pescatarian. The accompanying squash was tough and lukewarm, I suspect cooked earlier and waiting to be dished up. My husband got the Gnocchi with a rubbery sirloin steak and a sad potato gnocchi. Neither of us finished our meals. I would definitely go back for the view and drinks, no food. (This review was from our visit last summer. I left it in drafts)

There were quite a few fast food and sandwich options close, but this had more a super club vibe which we were after. We weren't disappointed! They served prime rib on Thursday and red meat sounded like a perfect choice. Dinner started with a choice of two sides, so I had a cup of the Chicken Andouille and rice soup which warmed my heart. It was delightfully spicy. The prime rib was done to perfection and the au jus was flavorful. My wife had the pretzel crusted salmon with a mustard sauce on the side, asparagus and mashed potatoes. She hadn't had salmon done that way before and thought it was great. Will definitely return our next trip to Oshkosh.

This restaurant is also right next to an airfield with a large outdoor seating section. We came for dinner & the sun was already down, although it was still 70 degrees outside we sat inside. Our hostess asked us if we wanted anything to drink & we just asked for water, she promptly brought us 2 plastic cups of water. This was just a bit strange to me because all of the other tables around us, had glassware. Our server was great, when I asked for recommendations he had several, including the French dip, the Hangar curd burger, & the Tuscan chicken penne. The Friday night special was Fish Fry but I was not in the mood for anymore fried food. My husband ordered the French dip & I decided to try the pan fried Walleye since I've never had Walleye before, which is a local fish. My husband really enjoyed his French dip, and it was a really good size portion, stuffed with thin slices of roast beef, sautéed onions & mushrooms & melted mozzarella cheese. The French bread was lightly toasted & the au jus was tasty. I really enjoyed my pan fried Walleye entree. The fish was nice and light and they cooked it with the skin on but really crisped it up. It was served on a bed of pesto mashed potato's and topped with sautéed spinach & blistered grape tomato's then drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Lots of flavor & great textures. I was very satisfied with my choice. I'd definitely recommend this place.
