Mr. David replaced my two garage springs and did a tune up while also reprogramming my two remotes . He arrived on time and was very efficient and he did not charge me extra for the programming. Garage Improvement's owner and I talked about the issue I had with my door opener's drive belt not functioning within a half hour of my posting the issue with Yelp. I agreed to have his firm tackle the issue the next day. He said he'd be at my place around 1pm. An hour or so before the appointment he called and said he was running a bit over at his first job but would at my place at 1:30, which was fine with me. Upon arrival and assessing the problem he said the drive belt had been damaged by a bearing that it runs through while the opener is operating. He replace both the drive belt and the bearing for the same very reasonable price he quoted me initially and was done in about 90 minutes. David's was one of about 5 garage door companies we contacted to get a quote to replace our aging garage door opener. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and polite while providing his estimate; and it was the lowest one we got in the process. We asked for an extra remote, and he went ahead and upgraded the system to a fancier belt drive in the bargain. He spent about 1.25 hours installing the new system, including fixing an issue with the lock bar from the older system. He provided his own warranty for the work on top of the 10-year manufacturing warranty. Working with him was pleasant and easy, and it was a pleasure to hand him a check for a fancy, quiet new garage door opener at the end of the work.
