I wish we could do 1/2 stars on here. I enjoy Children's Place because they have cute clothes and…read moreaffordable prices. There is typically a sale, coupon, or rewards points to use never to pay full price. However, sometimes they lack variety in bottoms. Once you've purchased all the jeans, it does not seem like they come out with new styles or colors. However, that is a company issue, not this particular store. This store is very small, cluttered, and congested. Navigating through this store with a purse and children (god forbid a stroller) is a nightmare. They do an okay job of trying to keep things organized, but with so much merchandise in such a little space it is challenging. My major complaint with this store is I can NEVER get in and out. I always spend at LEAST ten minutes in line, and I am not exaggerating. Whether I'm shopping, picking up, or doing a return, the transactions always take FOREVER. It is beyond annoying. There is typically only one registration open, and only once the line gets about five deep and people are trying to figure out were to stand in this crammed store will they open another one. Just ugh. The clothes are of decent quality, they last okay, but do not waste your time with their casual shoes (sandals and flats for girls are fine). Overall, this store needs to be remodeled. The clothes are cute, and the prices are reasonable, but I do not like coming in here. I mainly shop online.

The clothes here are in poor taste. All of the girls' clothing was EXTREMELY prissy. Nobody wants…read moreunicorns on everything. My daughter was even disgusted that everything was pastel and fairy-tale-ish. Aside from the lack of taste for girl's clothing, this store...this SPECIFIC location...is the WORST LAYOUT of a store that I have ever seen. There is approximately 6-8 inches between each rack of clothing that you have to turn sideways and brush against all of the clothes to get through. If you have kids with you, forget it. They'll get lost in the heaps of stock piled everywhere. If management were smart, they'd move out into a bigger space. (Or quit, and work for a more tasteful line of kid's clothing. Children's Place, take note, you look like the Justice store.)

I chatted to an Athleta customer service rep before going to Southpoint to confirm. They confirmed. The woman working here let me know that, because I wore the item more than once, it's not "really" returnable. And that the pilling on my leggings are normal "wear and tear". (I'll note: i typically love Athleta but I've had some leggings for 5+ years with zero pilling...Athleta leggings should not pill). She said returns/exchanges are up to store discretion, contrary to the global return policy. And her decision was to not accept my leggings. What made matters worse was when she picked up the phone, held it to her ear, clearly about to take another call -- all while I was talking to her. It was clear she was trying to end the conversation and rush me out. I knew this person was wrong, so I called the Athleta customer service dept on the drive home, who confirmed that this person was indeed wrong. In their words: "She should have accepted your leggings." They offered to call her directly and read her the policy, or help me resolve the issue via email. I chose the latter -- mostly because this person made me pretty uncomfortable in-store. I normally love Athleta, but this woman's attitude was pretty rough and her refusal to honor Athleta's exchange policy was just not ok. Thankfully, Athleta corporate came through.

I can't believe I walked by this store so many times and never stopped to look inside. I'm glad I…read moregave it a try, there are so many nice things! I tried on a bunch of swimsuits and found it very hard to choose one because they all fit so well! Plenty of coverage, but still flattering shapes and vibrant colors. It looked like there were plenty of beach cover-ups, skirts, shirts and other non-sporty clothes, but also a lot of athletic apparel. Next time I need something in that department I will definitely stop by. The prices are below Lululemon and in range of Nike and New Balance. My swimsuit top was around $60 and the bottom $50.
