Their selection of evening shoes and purses is exquisite! There's a large selection to fit every price range, and sales are frequent. Be sure to get on their mailing list. Excellent store, for all your shoe needs, and fun just to browse. read more

I find that this location is known for poor customer service. The store should be run with self check out services if there isn't a real threat of theft. The staff interact with one another but never gesture to even say hi to its customers. I've experienced this on numerous occasions. Seem unhappy with assisting customers. I guess all their time and energy is on keeping the store organized and clean because that's all I've ever noticed. read more

We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 4 Location: 4 Decor/ambiance: 4 Customer Service: 4 If your searching for a shoe deal and you don't want to fight long lines, crowded tiny stores, limited selections, then you want to make your way to DSW. I like this branch as its always clean with nice friendly employees. Its out of the way for me as its a nice drive from my local one. All in all, this place always seems to have what I need when i need it. They don't carry all of the latest trends BUT they seem to always have something to make up for what they don't have. They carry everything from shoes to handbags to purses and duffel bags. The Cary location ROCKS! read more

I purchased a pair of clearance tennis shoes at the Cary location of DSW. I took them home and I needed to remove the purchased insoles and put in Plantar Fasciitis insoles. I discovered that the shoes were too big. I took them back to DSW, and they were more than amazing today. They returned them, ordered me a new pair and also honored all of the discounts that I had been given on the original purchase. I really appreciate how professional they were and even more appreciative of how helpful there were to me !!! Thanks DSW for your service to me today as your customer for years. This only added to my loyalty for this shoe store. Phyllis read more

I hate going into places such as these, because I know I probably won't walk out empty handed. If you want shoes, sandals, sneakers or handbags, you are sure to find it here. They offer both men and women's shoes- not sure about kids. This location seems much bigger then their triangle town center location, and I found this location has more of my size 6-7 then the triangle town location as well. read more

This location used to have amazing customer service, the employees used to be so helpful and nice. The past year has been totally different. No one wants to help. They do t really even want you to bother them. Location has really gone down hill. Sad read more

I shopped here with one other person on a Sunday afternoon. These are my thoughts and observations. -They were crazy busy on Sunday. -The displays were well managed and not misleading. -Their selection of women's shoes was huge. -Their selection of men's shoes was lacking. -I'm a women's 11 or 12, and I couldn't find many shoes in that size. Overall, their range of women's shoe sizes is disappointing, and they don't have a large selection of men's lifestyle shoes. I didn't dislike my experience here, but they don't carry shoes in my size or in my preferred style. read more

Ok, here is the deal with this place. The shoes are wicked expensive, but the selection is fantastic... and they have an exceptional clearance section in the back. Not crappy shoes no one would want, but seriously stylish shoes available in your size for a good deal. I wear an 8.5 (which is one of the most common sizes and they had 4 rows of clearance shoes...every girl's dream btw). I go in once in a while and peruse the clearance section and the regular price ones. I'd say most of the shoes are going to be $50-80 (some much, much more), not including the boots and sneakers. It's a bit overwhelming, but for your bargain shoppers, deals can be found. Like designer shoes for $15 (that were originally $80-90). Go, you will come home with an armload of shoes and then have to start yet another shoe closet. Sigh... read more

Just like I did when I was 13-years-old and needed to find the perfect pair of shoes for my Bat Mitzvah, when it was time to find the perfect pair of shoes for my upcoming wedding - I turned to DSW. Before even going to the store I called ahead to check if the shoes that I was interested in were in store and in stock. The associate who answered the phone was very helpful and put my shoes on reserve in the back. When I arrived at the store I found my shoes right away and they are perfect! The associate that helped me took the time to make sure that I was happy with my choice and asked me about the details of my wedding. Even though I am not a fan of Crossroads Plaza - I am a fan of the DSW. read more

Always the best deals on great selections and brands... if they don't have it in the store, the sales associates go above and beyond to find it on line or in another store!! read more

DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - Shoe Stores Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

I find this place is a great bargain hunters place for High End shoes. I find $350.00 shoes you would find at Norstroms for 109.00 here. The clearance section is even better. My wife got me started. I went with her , so to stop her from going I started buying shoes. I did find allot of great bargains I could not resist. So when we are in Cary, we always visit DSW. If they have a DSW in a town I am in , I always go. The staff is great and always accommodating. read more

Great accessory and shoe selection! They carry high end bags at this location such as fossil and are very on trend. :) The shoes are also always well stocked with all sizes. read more

I love DSW. They have such a great selection, it's rare to come out of there without at least one pair of shoes, and usually it's tough to leave with ONLY one pair! As the other reviewers have mentioned, they also have a great sale selection in the back. There are always a lot of shoes in all sizes in the sale section and they aren't just the old ugly shoes that no one wants! They have a decent rewards program and when you shop on their website you can apply any of the awards $$ you have earned toward your purchase. They also allow you to stack special offers on their website, I think up to 3. They almost always have free shipping offers and you can return anything you don't want in the store. They also have a selection of mens shoes. but I've never really looked at those! read more

Love the deals. Right now there's a $5 coupon online so check it out and get a deal in a deal. Good variety for men's shoes and lots female shoes letttsssssss go read more

DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - Looks like heaven outside - Shoe Stores Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

Went to this store looking for a particular shoe. I was unable to locate it and asked for help. The gentleman pointed and said they were on isle 22 or 24. Huge area and still could not locate them. Went back up front again and asked for help and was told he had to do something first and walked away from me. If I had been by myself, I would have walked out then. He came back and let me to another employee who who tersely informed me that they hadn't arrived yet. Hard to believe that a store that large doesn't carry a simple ES clog. Will never go back. read more

They have got pretty much every style in the book. If you want it, they probably have it. They have great deals and price cuts from time to time. The clearance selection is slim pickings but you could fine a hidden gem for super cheap (additional 40-70%). The service has always been friendly and great. Great location. read more

Always reliable. Quick to get in and out of and they have the freshest selection of all snake skin and leopards you could need right now. DSW is always bringing joy to my feet read more

This DSW location is probably the location I visit most often in the triangle area. The store is massive so there is a large selection! There's a big clearance section in the very back as well. I just recently had a great customer service experience so I wanted to write about it. I bought a pair of heels a size smaller than usual months ago. At the time of purchase, when I tried them on in stores, the heels didn't feel too small or uncomfortable. Unfortunately, after putting them on at home (after removing the tags and throwing away the receipt) I knew my feet would not be able to survive with the shoes on since they were a size too small. I would always forget to take the shoes with me when I would make a trip to DSW. Finally, around 6 months later I had the shoes in my car when I went shopping in Cary and I asked about returning the shoes. The lady at the register was able to call a hotline and get all of my purchase info and I was able to get store credit. I honestly thought it was a lost cause (especially with the amount of time that had gone by, no receipt, no barcode, no price tag) but the staff members that helped me at DSW were able to go above and beyond to make sure I left as a happy customer! read more

I love DSW...what girl doesn't?! Rows and rows of shoes at decent prices. I just wish they had children's shoes too

Curse you DSW with your endless rows of fabulous brand name footwear at ridiculously reasonable prices! My poor wallet weeps every time I come into this store because I always wind up leaving with a pair of shoes (minimum...). But seriously gals, this is the place to go if you love shoes. They have an amazing selection in store (and online) and there's accessories and men's stuff here too. And the icing on top of the cake is the giant clearance section in the back where I recently got hidden gems like a beautiful pair BCBG booties for $35 and a pair of Nine West pumps for only $12. read more

Pretty much as self help as it comes. I have been here several times and no one is there to help you except to check out and even then there are lines because not all of the registers were open. I wear and 11 or 12 and their selection in that size is horrible!!! read more

Sign up online for your rewards account if you haven't already. You'll get a $10 coupon, which you can use on your first purchase. Take advantage of the coupons/promos because frankly they are overpriced. Designer Show Warehouse for me means warehouse full of unpractical shoes. All I wanted this season was a pair of low heeled brown boots that could be work at work or casually. They just don't have realistic options. I'm sorry, but skinny heeled boots are just impractical. Along with this is North Carolina...our weather is crazy and I have no interest in risking it with slippy boots. I had purchased a pair 3 years ago from the Rocket Dog brand that were great. I wore them out, hence my new search for a decent pair of versatile and practical boots. Maybe there's a bunch of fashionistas running around Cary that I just don't know about? I need to stop because frankly I have very little that is nice to say about this location in regards to merchandise. It's December and I still don't have my boots. I ordered a pair from online...which takes awhile to get to you. They were a size too small. You have to go return them, then re-order them online. I will say that as unimpressed as I am with the actual product selection, that the in-person customer service was good. Hey DSW!!!! Give us some damn carts. Seriously. Not giving us carts doesn't do you any sales favors. It also doesn't keep us in the store shopping. You can even make special shoe box sized skinny stacker carts. Something for us to stack our shoe boxes on and hold our purse and drink. Pros: * Friendly employees and good customer service. * Plenty of parking. Cons: * Overpriced for your outsourced labor and not really great quality product. * Unrealistic/impractical shoe options. read more

I was visiting North Carolina for my daughter's bridal shower. I decided to take a look here to see if there were any shoes I liked for the wedding. It didn't take long for me to find the perfect shoes! I was kind of hesitant in buying the shoes being that I had to fly back home and didn't wanna have an extra bag. They were able to send the shoes to my home at no additional cost to me. That was perfect! I came home and they were here waiting for me! So easy and convenient! read more

DSW is committed to customer satisfaction. I had a pair of boots my husband bought me 1 year ago. They hurt my ankles so bad I only was able to wear them a handful of times. I took them back to DSW with my receipt and they returned them hassle free. Pleasant sales associates!!! Forever a customer. read more
