I had a very positive experience shopping at Nike Cary in the Fenton shopping center. My daughter received a pair of Nike panda low dunks via the online Nike store and needed a half size bigger. The Fenton location is the only Nike store in Raleigh. I was relieved when I learned of the new location. Upon arrival I scored a metered parking spot right across from the entrance. Staff greeted us and there were no lines. I gave the sales associate my barcode for the return and she found the right size and my daughter tried them on. We checked out in less than 15 minutes. Super awesome! I didn't even know that this store existed! Actually, most won't either. It's located in a newly developed area in Cary. These stores are going to be awesome once everything is up and running. I was looking for a particular size of Nike Air Force 1's and surprisingly -- they had the size! It was as easy as buying through the Nike website and picking it up. The shoe was a bit too small for me so someone was able to help me swap it out with ease. The staff is great at acknowledging customers and offering assistance. The Nike by Cary store has all one can ask for from a Nike store. Clean and well organized and in the new Fenton shopping location. They have a good cross section of items within athletic wear and shoes but not much in the way of variety of styles. Meaning yes they have shoes but it a limited selection of new and popular, yea they have hoodies but maybe a small handful of new styles. This is due to both the size of the space and the choice of having a more minimized look instead of your typical racks packed full of items. Worst customer service I have experienced at a new establishment. First time in here and bought shoes... The gentlemen who grabbed my shoes to try on was fine. The women who work there have your epitome of bad attitude. Won't be returning and will make sure to tell people how crappy and rude their staff is. Came back to edit after reading other reviews- I will most definitely confirm the guy in the store that helped me was probably the only one actually working. All the ladies were hanging out sitting around on their phones. I won't even get in to the comments that were made by said staff. Poor lot managed store, bad reflection on Nike. read more

This store is in a new establishment in Cary that's supposed to be like North Hills in Raleigh. The difference in shopping experiences is that the staff isn't rude like they are at this Nike location. I did a pick up order on Nike.com last week. My pick up was in Mebane. I ended up returning 1 of the 4 items I purchased. I had my receipt & opened my Nike pass. The lady who helped me initially was nice but had difficulty with the return. When she finally got the amount to match the receipt she saw it was only giving a gift card option for my refund even though I paid with a cc. When she asked the guy with the nose ring for help he said just give her a gift card. I hseveral times I paid with my card as indicated on the RECEIPT! I want my refund back the same way. This so called manager said he understood but because the computer is saying to give me a gift card they had to. After about 5 minutes of him saying the same thing with a smirk on his face I finally had to tell him that I was not leaving without my money back & it wasn't going to be on a gift card because I didn't pay with a gift card & I have the receipt! After me having to argue & get stern with him, he finally got behind the register , did my return with my receipt & refunded the money back to my card like he should've done 5 minutes before. I can't believe he is a manager! I have never been treated so poorly in Nike. I suspect that if I was a different complexion Mr. Nose ring wouldn't have dared told me I had to take a gift card on a return from a purchase made less than a week ago WITH MY RECEIPT! Remember Sam Jackson's role in Django?? Anyway It was clearly user error on their end and had he even attempted to assist me from the beginning instead of trying to FORCE me to take a gift card, he could've saved us both a lot of time and saved me the humiliation. I don't appreciate being treated that way & he should not be a manager. Maybe an overnight stock person that doesn't have to interact with customers but not a manager. Just as clear they have never entered any other Nike store ever. well, maybe their annual trip to the outlet mall, to go to factory store. This place has potential but it's managed by a dunce. You know what I mean, the guy that thinks they have a lot of power because they're a store manager, but actually all they do is write and manage a schedule. When that teen has to much homework and doesn't show up, they have to go in. Well, this genius made the decision to not accept coupons from Nike members . Wait, what aren't those coupons only issue electronically and have barcodes on them? why yes that is correct ! Some how this wizard of foot wear is convinced that Cary has gangs of sneaker fraudsters pirating coupons and setting up an underground Nike fraud ring. I know crazy, but true. Long story longer. I wanted to buy a new pair of kicks on the snkrs app. I saw they were available in Cary at the retail location. I happened to have a coupon issued through the app for store use only. Called to confirm and perfect I'm on my way! Well, upon arrival, the resident swoosh imbecile decided that they don't take coupons, therefore wasting my time, and frankly my money. But keep catering to those Yoga pants, Patagonia hat wearing Cary moms , water bottle in hand as they purchase that one pair of discounted running shoes a year! Just do it minivan mom! read more

Went there on a not so busy Sunday evening. There were a few employees in the middle who were mostly interested in their phone and each other than the customers that were in there. One was even stretched out on the couch on her phone. Didn't realize she was an employee until I saw her name tag. Was in the shoe section for at least 10 minutes and no one bothered to come over to ask if we needed any help or if we would like a certain size. This store is poorly managed. I shouldn't have to go to their employee who is obviously more interested in their phone to ask for help. read more

Went here on a Tuesday afternoon, at least 4 employees working all hanging out in the back near the register. I spend 10-15 mins selecting my items I proceed to check out, girl ask for my Nike account then has me enter it in on their mobile device then another person walks up and ask to speak to a specific person who was in the back. she goes to retrieve the person now I'm stuck waiting to pay for my items she tells the OTHER person he's busy in a meeting and customer tells her it's important she then goes back again without saying a word to me and I wait for a few minutes before leaving without the items I was trying to purchase. Terrible experience poorly managed will not return. They lost a good $300 sale. read more
