It really depends on what you're looking for when you come, but I have managed to find ammo and…read moresome other things for a good price when on sale. Otherwise it's expensive. The service there was pretty decent and the staff were nice /helpful. My favorite part about the shop is just the fact that they put so much energy into how it looks. There are scenes everywhere with taxidermy and replicas. Geese and ducks "flying" (hanging) near the ceiling. And they do have a large fish tank there with live fish. Overall I feel like you pay for the experience when you are there too

"Manager" Roger is a complete tool! I was #15 in a line of 16 patrons trying to check out at 4:00…read moreon a Friday. There was only ONE cashier. I asked the greeter (drowsy guy in beige and white) if he could call a manager to get some more cashiers. About 5 mins later Roger waddles up and is all confrontational, "Did you need something?" I said, "Yes, wanted to let y'all know we're over a dozen deep in line here." "We're working on it," barks Roger with a condescending tone. Then does an about face. To their credit and being fair, they did get another two cashiers a while later. But why the attitude, why the aggressiveness? I was just trying to spend my money in this establishment and I get bad-vibed? I love Bass Pro, but today's experience really drives home the fact that a good shopping experience is about a lot more than price and selection. Crappy employees can take what could have been a positive and turn it memorably negative.

Update: Sam who runs the shop reached out and we had a very great conversation about my experience…read moreand the hobby overall. He himself was not tracking on what other shops were doing on trade in value and we pretty much swapped our options. Brick and mortar shops are having a tough time battling against breakers and distributors in general and need to eat themselves. The hobby is just in weird point at this time. Thank you Sam. Just moved to the area from the west and had to find a new card shop. Cardiac happened to be the closest to my new house. Checked it out and bought a card at an okay price for my personal collection. They don't really budge on price much no matter what the last sales have been. Most they'll take off is $5 on a $200+ card even if the last sold for $50+ less. I made an appointment for a bulk trade in for a card I really wanted from their shop. After an hour of sorting through my cards, they finally had a price. They valued my cards at $360+. I was excited because that was just enough for the card I was looking at. They then offered 60% of the value for store credit, saying cash would be even less. I was expecting a minimum 70% due to it being a shop but I already waited more than an hour and drove all the way there so just took the offer and got a cheaper card I was interested in. They claim to not care about profit and care about the hobby and real collectors but offering 60% is insane. They were selling "Hobby" blasters of the NFL Select. I bought one and pulled a zebra, noticing that it was a purple shock zebra and not a true zebra. Anyone in the hobby knows that hobby have true zebras and retail have the shock. So they are selling retail blasters and claiming them as hobby blasters.

This time even without wrap all items were like 40% higher in price. I loved this store but they really screw up here. They usually sold out before this time they couldnt even do it. Lot of people left the line including me. Hope they learn the lesson cause if they keep doing this they will lose customers. Im better off going to target and gamestop than here.
