Running and beer seem to go hand in hand in Holly Springs, and Pace Yourself has married both into an awesome downtown spot where a runner can indulge in both their passions. If you're wondering what local races are coming up because you want to put all that running to good use? Check out their upcoming races board! If you're just ready to celebrate your running accomplishments, you can indulge in a local craft beer or even have a glass of wine or mimosa in their in-house bar. This was the second time I've gone to a shoe store to speak to someone about the proper shoes. I never appreciated how important these things are until now. The staff was very passionate about this space and you can tell from how knowledgeable they are. Very kind, respectful, and patient as you look to make a decision on the many options! I also randomly came by on a run a while ago and they had water and snacks to help out, which I found to be something very special they do to help the community, makes me wanna make them part of my stops on longer runs! read more

Great place to find your next pair of running shoes! I don't often end up Holly Springs, but Pace Yourself was recommended to me. The store is easy to find and there are several public parking lots nearby. I stopped in on a Saturday morning. The store was empty except for two employees. I was greeted upon arrival and Lucas offered to help me right away. I explained what I was looking for and he recommended three options. I tried on each of the three pairs before deciding on a pair of Topo sneakers. When trying them out, They encouraged me to walk around the store and run down the sidewalk outside. It was a nice day for a short jog around the shop. The Topo sneakers felt great at the store and still do now. They have a wider toe box and are comfortable. All around great experience. I would return here for my next pair of running shoes! read more

I just got my second pair of running shoes personally delivered with a roll of toilet paper during COVID-19. I loved my first pair so much that I had to order another. When you visit to get fitted they will start by looking at how you walk. Next they will bring out different pairs of shoes for you to try. You can even run down the sidewalk. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable here. They also have draft beer available, I can't wait to stop in for a cold one again soon once it's safe and allowed. Cheers! read more

I was in need of a good walking shoe. I'm new to the area. Looked up local shoe stores to find Pace Yourself as a highly regarded store. I was not disappointed! I got waited on right away. I was provided with great suggestions as to what would work for me. Tried on several pairs. The lady who was helping me even went on the shoe website to see what other colors were available in the shoe I chose. Great experience! I was also provided with info on their walk/run club! Pace Yourself is such a great local establishment. Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff! It's clearly a running store owned and managed by runners - truly feels like being part of the running community when you're in here. The taproom feel of the store was especially surprising - a wide selection of great beers, wines and ciders are on hand. Runners socializing here all the time. Great group runs scheduled weekly. Just a very comfortable, accessible local place to run from, purchase running gear, and get to know other runners. So happy that this now exists in Holly Springs! read more

5 star customer service 5 star expertise I am not a competitive runner, and probably not a a good one, but I came in with foot pain and the staff were so knowledgeable, kind and caring. They examined my existing shoes and were honest about their condition (fine) and alternate options. They helped me find insoles to provide some relief right away. They also recommended I see a podiatrist and gave a referral for one that I ended up loving. After all that they then helped me get fitted in even more appropriate shoes based on the doctors recommendations. They were nothing but friendly, honest and obviously know feet and shoes. At no point did I feel like they were trying to make a sale, they seemed genuinely interested in helping me resolve my issue. Highly recommend!!! read more
