Love gap, love the clothes, love the sales. This location is only okay tho. The store itself is big but old and the customer service was non existent during my visit. I went in yesterday, I was never greeted, I helped myself into the dressing room 2 times without ever being assisted and I was there for nearly 20 mins. I wanted to buy a pair of carpenter pants but I just bought them online instead because I was unsatisfied with the lack of customer service. read more

Oh Gap, what happened to you? You used to be a place where I could find a cute outfit suitable for the office or a night out. Today's selection made me believe that every item in the store was meant for just lounging around the house, or working out. The quality of the clothes is still an improvement on their cheaper cousin, Old Navy, but all I could see around me were loose tees, casual sweaters, and giant shirt dresses that reminded me of old-timey nightgowns. I'm afraid if their current selection is a glimpse of what they're going to offer in the future, I should probably stick with their more expensive cousin, Banana Republic the next time I go clothes shopping. read more

I normally wouldn't be caught dead coming here. I am only here because I'm trying to redeem the X-mas gift card I got last year. Somehow I don't feel excited coming to this store as much as I did for Banana Republic. Can't figure it out why, but I guess it looked like the cheaper version of Abercrombie and Fitch. Their commercials are catchy, so I guess it's the marketing works at getting people into this place. Like any retail clothing store, the space is divide in half with men's clothings on one side and women's on the other half. The kids section have their own store of Gaps for Kids. When I was in the back section, there's a couch for seatings. Somehow I knew it was going to be occupied by kids lounging there and chit chatting on their cellphones. Sort of bringing down the mood and vibe for the place. The clothings for me just doesn't suit me, maybe my taste is not the same as I would done by across to B.R. It's not because I'm conservative, it's just the style doesn't suit the adults as much as the hip youngsters. Maybe the clothings and accessories are going for the Urban Outfitters crowd as I can't fathom I would wear any of these shirts or pants. I was even looking for a belt. It just seemed those belts with these trinkets looked like you are in a grunge band. Not my cup of tea. Maybe I was out of touch, but the fashion sense is not my type. There's no pushy salesperson at this store. As there is no one really would ask you if you needed assistance. It's a shame because I might of just be persuade to buy something stupid like I did at Banana Republic. That's the key draw, if you don't have a salesperson to push you to buy more, how can you really know on what they think to buy. Maybe it's just not possible as most of the kids that worked here are young. Younger than me, which is not saying much. I guess I'll just re-gift the gift card and let someone else who might like GAP, to give a try at this store. read more

Came in here not expecting much, but all the staff were so kind and helpful it made me want to buy something! Especially the young man with the beanie and glasses, he was very attentive and helped me find something for my niece in the gap kids section. His positive attitude made my day a lot better, good to know there are still good people like him working in retail. Didn't see much management on the floor though. read more

Frankly, I like their children's clothing. They are simple, adorable, and (look) comfortable. They have good sales. (Today, they had 40% all regular priced merchandise and an extra 50-60% off sale merchandise!) I was in luck, and I found an amazing, thick navy blue vest with brown toggles and a hood for my darling son. It was on sale for $32.99... and with an additional percentage off, I ended up paying under $18! Yay! It was the last one, as well. It looks so expensive, too! I can't wait until he wears it! The downside to this location, the employees are not very friendly. Nor helpful. I have never been greeted. I have never been asked if I need help. I get the bare minimum when I checkout. Part of me doesn't care, though, as long as I get good deals. read more

Came for the so called Veterans Day specials and they exclude Disney and star wars items. Found the same items I purchased online 50% off! Called store and was told online and store it's different. I recommend checking online before purchasing at store. Sucks that they can't have the same pricing at the store just like online when other store keep it real and honor the online price if it's cheaper on their website. read more

There always out of stock on baby clothes and there emails with a coupon code never works at the store apparently the emails are from gap factory so it's fouls you into thinking you can use it at the gap store because the girl at the cash register made it clear to me it's for the gap factory. read more

I can't even say this is a cheaper version of Banana Republic. I only go here if there's a sale or someone gave me a gift card. Its hard to buy basics because there's nothing to get excited about. If you like loose-fitting clothing/open necklines like boatneck shirts, this is where to look. They don't always carry that tie-neck shirt or yoke top you see on the website. read more

Let me tell you they basically have no mens clothing in the store. The variety of shirts they have is insulting. I think there were maybe 5 different mens shirts for sale in the store. Nothing extremely special about this Gap store. At least the store was orderly and didn't look like there was a party, I'm good. The fitting rooms were basically self-serve which is good since I don't like waiting for the employees to open the doors. Sometimes they take too long. Their Curvy jeans are great on my curves!! So I went to Nordstrom after a pair of jeans magically disappeared from my room....mmm ok, we won't go there, but if I can going to drop some serious money on something I will use frequently and possibly might draw some attention...I better LOVE it!! I knew the minute I slipped that first leg into Gap's Curvy's jeans I was going to LOVE it!! And I did!! You see, I always always have a challenge finding jeans that are a good fit for me. I am 5'0, small waist, gifted in the rear section, and have thighs that don't jiggle (thank gawd!) but kick butt if ever needed.... since I am only 5'0 I will literally only kick butt since that is all I can reach...haha So needless to say I always have a problem finding jeans that fit ..'right.' These jeans are soft, will make your legs look long and flatter every curve you got!! The best part.... these jeans are less than half of what a pair of Nordstrom Jeans cost. BTW~~ Janine, the saleslady that helped me...THANK YOU!! She was great! I mean it was like having my best friend right there picking stuff out and making suggestions. Today after informing the manager and 2 sales associates that the dressing room I was placed it was covered in melted ice cream and chewed gum they proceeded to look at me like I was bothering them. I won't shop there ever again and will give my business to Belmont Shore or Cerritos where the stores are clean and the staff is friendly. read more
