This is an incredibly skilled and talented shop. They were amazing at explaining their solutions and tailored both of my Gharara's for me in time for my event! The quality and craftsmanship shows in their pieces that they sell and I regret not coming here first before purchasing online because their inventory is amazing and I still ended up buying outfits for family who hadn't found the right quality and fit and they were so helpful and accommodating to that as well. I had some wedding functions to attend and I was desperately in need of some Indian outfits. My Mom and I planned to go to Artesia to browse the different shops. I don't know what it was but when we parked the first spot that caught my eye was Osheen there was this beautiful outfit that really stood out to me and we decided to walk in. From the moment my Mom and I walked in we were in awe at how beautiful the selection of clothes were. Sonia greeted me and told me pick what I want and I can try them on she was so helpful throughout the whole process. I had several events and wasn't sure what to wear to what event and she offered me suggestions on how to style. During the fittings she helped me and gave me the utmost time, attention and respect throughout the whole entire time. Not to mention the studio is neat, clean and well kept. Overall the whole experience was the absolute best, the selection and the 1x1 attention to help me find the best outfit for me within my budget. There was no haggling like other places it was very reasonably priced and she was able to have my outfits altered within a reasonable time frame. Nobody wants to talk about where they shop for funeral stuff but I figure I should. We've had a death in the family and I needed things to wear to a Hindu funeral - white kurtas/kurtis and a few other things like plain white fabric for a turban. The front of the store is mostly fancy stuff so I hesitated when I walked in, but the couple here was extremely nice. Once they realized what I was shopping for they were very patient and gentle and helped me find everything I needed - no fuss, no extra sales pitch. I normally do not post reviews. However, my experience with Osheen the Designer Studios from beginning to end was beyond exceptional- a review is warranted. After a slew of strike outs looking for a last minute lehenga for my best friends wedding, due to an online order gone wrong...the hunt was on and so was the pressure. I was having absolutely no luck, and I so happened to come across an associate for Osheen passing out business cards (whom was a sweetheart by the way) and she subtly asked for me to stop by if I had a chance. At this point, I had nothing to lose. So...I stopped by. I was unsure at first, because it was a further trek down and a little gem hidden in a plaza. I was immediately greeted by Sonia's warm smile, whom made me feel so welcomed given how busy and in the midst of assisting a couple other clients. I informed her the occassion I was shopping for and my situation. Looking at their selection of garments, they were one of a kind and nothing I had seen at the other shops. I was taken aback. Sonia asked all the right questions and made me feel safe and comfortable- I immediately knew I was in the right place. The first lehenga I tried on was a winner...when you know, you know. I now, know that feeling. Given I had drove out a couple hours from Ventura and needed the garment same day, Sonia was not only understanding, but accommodating with offering same day alterations. The pricing was reasonable- given the quick turn around. I picked up the lehenga within a couple of hours and another associate carefully walked the garment to my car. Needless to say, I never at one point felt pressured to purchase something I not only felt comfortable in, but loved. These garments are art and I appreciate the culture behind the art. The passion, kindness, attention to detail and attentiveness to their clients (not only to myself) was one of a kind from Sonia and Osheen the Designer Studio staff. This place is a scam. I was looking for a very specific dress and called them and sent them a photo when they asked me to. They said they have the dress and to come in. They assured me they had it. I drove 45 minutes to get to the store and when I arrived they did not actually have the dress. They had it in a different color, green instead of red. Completely disthonest.
