We told them what our price range was and they immediately showed us some really cute stuff. They also carry some limited large sizes. The dresses we tried on we're about a size or two small but they had extra space inside the dress that the tailor was able to open the hems. They also have a tailor onsite. So they were nice enough to open up the hems to make sure we like the dress before we bought it. Because opening up the hems actually kind of alters the dress but they were willing to do it cause we didn't want to buy nothing without knowing how it would look on. So we ended up getting this beautiful Turquoise and peach Anarkali. They charge $30 to do the tailoring and it's ready within about 5 days. Now we're wedding ready! Here we come Jersey!!

Please understand I don't take negative reviews lightly. This was a particularly horrible experience. Do not buy from here. TLDR: The entire experience from start to finish was problematic, including terrible service and attitude from Rohini. Both dresses I bought ended up with major issues (missing pieces, wrong color, disfiguration). I didn't have any of these issues when buying directly from the designer. I would recommend doing that instead. Rohini handled the ordering and measurements for my Tarun Tahiliani. Her measurements were so inaccurate, there was no reasonable way to make adjustments. Instead of accepting the error and having a new one made, she attempted to "fix" it, leading to a severely patched up blouse by a local tailor. Of note, a big part of the blouse was a Swarovski crystal chain, which was lost. She found me a make-shift chain that my makeup artist safety-pinned on instead. It's been over a month since my wedding and she still hasn't found it and has not refunded me any money for the incomplete dress. I reached out to Tarun Tahiliani myself. They made it very clear the error came from Rohini and strongly recommended placing the order directly from them to avoid these issues (see attached image for Whatsapp conversation). The custom Rohini-designed wedding dress came back the wrong color. She refused to acknowledge the error, even with a room full of people showing her the clear discrepancy and with me showing a text from her with the correct color. There were other issues with the dress and she assured me those would be fixed. Her fixes turned out to be cheaply tacked on fabric onto the lehenga, which had me scrambling at a local tailor who ripped off the fixes two days before my wedding. Rohini stated she did not have time to do this herself. My bridesmaids had to take hotel scissors to my wedding lehenga the night before the wedding in an attempt to clean it up further. Believe the rest of the reviews when they talk about her attitude problems. Even after spending 18K here, she treated me horribly and gaslit me at every opportunity. And if you do purchase from her, PLEASE pay with credit card. I made the mistake of paying with cash. Worth noting: I purchased the rest of my and my husband's outfits directly from Seema Gujral, Tamana Punjabi Kapoor, and Sawan Gandhi, and had absolutely no issues. They were wonderful throughout the process. Kynah was great too.

I had a very disappointing experience at Osheen and feel compelled to warn others before shopping here. First and foremost, the store lacks transparency with pricing. I selected an outfit and was told my size (S) wasn't in stock, but that they could "order it for me." At no point did anyone mention there would be an extra fee for this. Only after I reviewed the final invoice did I notice a hidden charge. When I brought it up, the couple who run the store insisted the fee was for another item -- one I had explicitly said I did not want. It felt dishonest and manipulative. Even their child, who was helping out in the store, looked uncomfortable once it became clear we had caught them. Unfortunately, instead of taking responsibility, the adults continued to argue and deflect blame. It was not only unprofessional, but also set a poor example for their own child. Another issue: I was quoted prices for each item with the promise of a discount at checkout -- "Don't worry, I'll give you a discount at the end." But the final prices were exactly the same as originally quoted. No discount at all. It felt like a tactic to keep me engaged until it was too late to walk away. As for quality -- extremely disappointing. I wore the outfit briefly at home before a wedding, and several beads and sequins had already fallen off before I even left the house. For the price I paid, the craftsmanship was shockingly poor. Finally, right after payment, they tried to smooth things over by offering free bangles and a bottle of water -- followed by a pushy request to "please leave a good review on Google." It felt performative and transactional, not genuine. Bottom line: deceptive pricing, poor-quality products, empty promises, and manipulative customer service. I will not be returning -- and I strongly encourage others to shop elsewhere. read more

We live in WA state and I had ordered an outfit from India for my husband to wear at his nephews wedding in San Diego. The Kurta was too tight around the arms. So I called a few places in Artesia and came across Osheen. The moment I spoke with Sonia, I knew she was the person I needed to see. Her warmth and assurance that her tailor would do his best to fix the kurta was enough for me to make a trip to her store. From the moment we entered the store we both felt at home like we were being welcomed by family. Raj, Sonia and Robin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were able to get their tailor to do the necessary alterations in record time so that my husband could wear it at the wedding. I also purchased some jewelry and another outfit for the wedding simply because of their integrity and kindness and also great prices. Going forward Osheen will always be my first stop in Artesia for festive clothing!!! read more

If you're ever invited to an Indian wedding anywhere in America, I highly recommend reaching out to Osheen. The quality of my boyfriend's suit was absolutely stunning--I can't wait to see him in it! This is absolutely the best store to shop for Indian designer clothing. Sonia and her family are AMAZING. She helped me pick out the perfect outfit for my event and altered it for me on the spot until it fit me perfectly! I am very picky and she went out of her way to make sure I was happy with EVERY detail. They have the most beautiful lehengas and their prices are great. They also have amazing men's clothing. I had the broken items appraised by another jeweler and they said it could NOT be fixed. It was beyond repair! When I asked her for a refund or store credit because I knew it could not be resolved, she denied me! I don't live near her store, and she refused to send my necklace back to me through the post. SHE STILL HAS MY MONEY AND MY JEWERY. It's theft. It's unfair. I was a good customer and she failed to fix the set OR refund me. She did nothing to make it right. Beware, this shop owner Saba is nice at first, but her items are not quality and they will break on you, and when they do she will do little to help you or leave you entirely in the dust. Horrible customer service. Horrible business practices. Prices are too high for the lack of quality. Take my advise, go elsewhere. Go to the stores that have customer service and more quality goods. Saba, you know what you have done and I hope your business suffers because of your lack of empathy for your good customers.

First, bought an outfit off the sale rack and one staff member told me it was $100. Then when I went to purchase at register, they told me it's $250, so I agreed to pay $200 + tailoring. Tailor took my measurements and gave me an estimate of 3-4 weeks and when I called to check in a couple times during the weeks they promised it would Be ready in time for my flight. Gave them extra days to finish it and today find out it's still not ready and tailor is not there and to come in. After additional insistence, someone is last minute going to work on it, not even the actual tailor. Will never buy from there again.

Since we were visiting from Houston so we didn't have time to order, but we ended up buying whatever was available on the shelves. We also met the designer. She sounded busy, which is a good thing. Most of the outfits are either small size or need to be altered. This is not a place where you can buy and wear it right away. A person who was helping the owner Delilah was super lovely and helpful. We must go back and spend time, and I am sure you will love it too.
