What an unfortunate, uncomfortable and unnecessary experience. . I had been to this location several times before without issue. I went in today to buy some shirts, a top and some overwear. The staff in the changing room and the register were nice and helpful. But the floor staff kept on following me around. I got a dirty look from one staff member and everywhere I turned, it seems there was staff eyeing the clothes in my hands while gauging my proximity to the door. Finally I check out and exited Uniqlo to find a security guard stationed outside the store. He eyed my bag before walking away. I think the staff could do better. I did not appreciate the treatment I received. This is the closest store to me and I will be going again, however begrudgingly. Should it happen again, I won't hesitate to call them out on it. I don't usually care whether store associates greet me or even acknowledge me at all, but the people who work at this Uniqlo are so friendly and helpful! It kind of does make shopping a bit more nice. I don't think I've ever had a more pleasant Uniqlo experience. Besides the great service, this Uniqlo, like all Uniqlo stores, is exceedingly clean and organized. There are associates everywhere folding things and arranging things. Even the try-on room was neat. I was able to find what I wanted easily (HeatTech everything always for life), and I even found a couple of new things that I didn't know existed. (And I happen to be wearing one of those things right now as I type!) Check out is easy. You can use the self-check out kiosks, which are kind of technologically advanced in that you place all of your items in a bin, and the computer calculates all of your items for you! It somehow magically knows what and how many you are buying. But there are also people at the register to help in case you don't want to check out that way (or in case you're paying with cash). read more

I decided to purchase my items online for pick up in-store during the Easter sale. At the time I was not aware that all Online orders need to be sent back to the company + pay out of pocket for shipping costs. Luckily the associate I spoke with understood my frustration and let me choose other pieces in the store for an even exchange. Since their fitting rooms are near the back in the kids section I was able to find my sizes and left with what I can see myself keeping. By the way, once you exchange an online item it's final sale so no refund no returns. Now, the prices are moderate, however, I took the time to read how the clothes are made to last and designed to be a core of your wardrobe. Use of technology is impressive and shows the importance of being a company versed and a leader in sustainability. Also, you will notice that sizes are universal: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL. The designs of the clothes are contemporary and are pretty much the "off the rack" type of clothes. It's to exemplify the comfort and ease of wearing clothes that's for you, not for anyone else. There's no "look at me" designs. But, designs that say, that person looks clean and casual and well put together. FYI: they do have an alterations department. Checking out is mind blowing!!! I came in to purchase a few items for my east coast trip in the middle of December 2025. I had purchased four turtlenecks. After leaving the store, I was still shopping in the mall since this store location is located within the mall and then realize that I wanted to exchange the colors of two of the turtlenecks so I went back to the store the same day within about 30 minutes from when I made the initial purchase. I made the exchange and left the store. I didn't end up wearing two of the turtlenecks at all so I decided to return them to the store and I came back to the store on December 24. It was a rainy day and I had an umbrella with me and as I approached the register Roderick was the representative's name, I explained to him how I would like to return the two turtlenecks I did not end up wearing that had their tags attached, and it was unworn. As I pulled the two turtlenecks out of the shopping bag some of the water from my umbrella sprinkled onto the counter since the umbrella wristlet was hanging from my wrist. As Rodrick was examining my receipts, he picks up one of the turtlenecks and asked me in a disgusted tone what was this on the turtleneck since the counter had a little bit of a sprinkle from the umbrella when he pulled up the turtleneck some of the water was on it so I explained that to him that it was from my umbrella. Without any words, he turns around goes behind the counter gets out a roll of paper towels, brings it back to the counter where I'm standing and begins to wipe the turtleneck in a disgusted manner. It was the way that he did this that made me very uncomfortable, as if I meant to get a sprinkle of the raindrops on this black turtleneck on purpose or something. He overly examined the turtlenecks as if he was inspector gadget, patting it down, lifting up the turtlenecks into the light, making sure all the customers in line could see him doing this. They were $20 turtlenecks Roderick with tags still attached, you can't be serious and that was totally unnecessary. It was a very rainy day and sorry your store didn't have any umbrella bags to cover my umbrella. And to top it all off, he was trying to say that I couldn't return the turtlenecks because I had already exchanged it. Both receipts were attached to show that the purchase and the exchange happened within 30 minutes of each other. Roderick's attitude was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. He explained that someone stole an item and hided the tag under a skirt I bought. The way he looked at me like I'm was a thief and didn't apologize for his mistakes in bringing me up. I often come to this shop and the employees are always super hospitable and helpful when it comes to their knowledge of items and knowing where everything is. My mom received a shirt from here for Christmas and it was the wrong size, so she planned on exchanging it for a different sized shirt. She presented the shirt without a receipt and also about a month after Christmas and they still let her exchange it, for even a different color. The whole process was so effortless and easy. I use to love Uniqlo but I'm starting to dislike this store as a whole. I love the clothes they sell and one in particular is there black jeggings. I needed to get a pair and when I went a Saturday and they didn't have it in medium. Even though when they check their inventory it says they have six. I was told in this location you usually get more Sunday or Tuesday. So I go to another location and they ran out too. I called today and they have one phone number to all locations. The guy I spoke with didn't seem to know what I wanted. When I though he did he said that they have a lot of the pair of pants I was looking for at Los cerritos. THAT WAS A LIE!!! Man no wonder this place has terrible reviews. For context, I've been shopping at this store for over a year now. It's been okay. I went into the store today for the Final Fantasy 35th anni event and they have a limited deal where if you bought 2 or more shirts you would get a trading card pack. Well, I had another friend who wanted me to buy 2 by proxy as well as myself. However, the store manager (John L) who I happened to get at the cashier was probably the worst manager I've ever dealt with. He overruled that I could not get another trading card park, even if I had separated my transactions. Mind you, there is nothing on the websites FAQ that says that as part of their limitations. So this store manager took it upon themselves to deny customers based on their own view, not the rules. This manager doesn't even know if the cards or random or set. I had asked him that, and they said they didn't even opened them. Well, you're the store manager, shouldn't you know exactly what you're selling and even if the promotion information say anything, its your responsibility to find out! What an uncaring employee. Love Uniqlo for it's simplicity, versatility, quality and affordability. I just really wish employees are better trained to communicate with their patrons. It's understandable that it gets busy at times and can be overwhelming to the staff but if the sales associate can just talk and ask the clients what they need then it can shorten the wait and transaction. Was in the store to pick up a complimentary alteration of pants. Informed an associate of my business I was told to wait in line, and did patiently as he was assisting a customer for purchase just as the other staff is directing self check out customer. As the transaction was completed with the former employee he just stepped out of the counter without a word, for whatever reason. The latter employee saw how this incident made me upset as I followed the tracks of his colleague. He then asked me to move to the other line and I clearly explained I was only to pick up an alteration. Then he replied I could just have went to the back to claim my item. Downgrading my orig 4-star review due to an overall terrible experience on Christmas Eve last week. I head to the mall with the kiddo in tow to buy my dad his Christmas gift. We end up browsing in Uniqlo at the Cerritos Mall and I was happy to see their down vests on sale for $39.99. I pick one off of the sale rack and check out, glad to get out of the packed mall. During lunch I happened to glance at my receipt and noticed the vest rang up for $49.99, not the lower advertised price. So I dragged my poor son back to the mobbed mall, fought for another parking space and braved the crowds to return. I make a beeline to the sale rack with the $39.99 sale signage and took a photo. Then I tracked down two young employees and asked what happened, showing them the photo and my receipt. The female scanned the tag and said the one I ended up purchasing was probably placed on the wrong rack - that only certain colors were on sale. If that was the case, then there should be clear signage identifying the sale colors, or staff should have been diligent about making sure only the sale vests were on the sale rack. The employee placed the blame on the customers saying it's their fault. So I told her I'd like to pick out a Sale vest, but could she help me return/check out again rather than having to wait in the huge line yet again? She said no, I would have to wait again. So we go to the sale rack and I ask her to tell me exactly which ones were on sale. During this process the vest I had purchased goes missing and I run back to where I was talking with the employees near the front and only see the young male employee. I explain that I can't locate my original purchased vest and thought the female employee had it. He shrugged, smirked, and just stared at me. What kind of customer service is that? I tell him I'd like help finding it and he reluctantly asked if I wanted him to ask the female employee I'd been talking to. Well, yes. Ugh. His whole demeanor and lack of assistance was irritating. Long story short, I found the vest and then had to wait another 30 mins to get through the giant line. I really do like Uniqlo's products - their clothes are functional, reasonably priced, and nicely designed...but their young staff are in dire need of customer service training. Ooof, their attitudes were completely off-putting. Also, Uniqlo should do a better job at making it clear what items are on sale and what aren't...especially if there are just specific colors of a certain item that are on sale. AND DON'T BLAME IT ON THE CUSTOMER FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! Oh, and the cherry on top of this horrible shopping experience - when my dad opened his vest on Christmas day, he found the security tag still attached, so I will have to make yet ANOTHER trip to Uniqlo to get them to remove it. I'm happy to drive all the way from SD to this Uniqlo. People compare it to an Asian Gap, which they aren't wrong. Uniqlo offers classic silhouettes that don't go out of fashion. Usual stores hang weird on me either in the shoulders or the legs and since UNIQLO is based in Japan, their clothes hang better on me. I always score whenever I come to this store. Plus, this location is clean and service is fast. Note: Take advantage of their free pants alteration service! This is applicable to pants over $30. They use a Normal Stitch which goes over the pants in a color that matches the pants. If you don't mind seeing the thread, it's free. It's a $5 fee if you want a Blind Stitch, or the stitch to hem your pants is on the inside and can't be seen. No matter the stitch, go there earlier in the day and get the estimated time the Seamstress will be done. If you get it done on a busy day the pants will be done the next day. Besides this location, I've been to the Beverly Center, Torrance, Glendale, and SCP locations. They are all pretty similar but this one is my favorite. The stores differ a little in layout but the main difference for me is what they put on sale. Cerritos seems more likely to put the stuff that I like on sale. SERVICE I've shopped here maybe 10 times and I can't remember any bad experiences. My last visit was to shop for a new Kaws apparel release. I have to give them credit with this one. There was a good sized crowd and they were able to have the entire release run smoothly (as far as I could tell at least). PARKING This really depends on the day and time. Coming during peak hours is usually a really bad situation and not worth the hassle. read more

Wifey wanted to buy a jacket from this store. Never heard about Uniqlo before, but she had. The store we went to is located inside Cerritos Mall (Los Cerritos Cemter) My wife has gotten a lot of use from her jacket. It was money well spent. The jacket is very light. It is an ultra light down parka. She has worn it in all kinds of cold temperatures! It is so light, and it fits in a little pouch bag for easy carrying or packing. I may have to check out their men's section someday to see what else they offer. read more

Staff wasn't as nice as the South Coast Plaza location but they had S, M, and XS here. No L or XL for the grey Pikachu Nintendo shirt. Which is the opposite at South Coast Plaza. Must be that socio-economic difference between the two cities and their demographics. Anyway, I was glad I finally found an XS because these shirts run big for some reason.
