This is one of my favorite place to eat. I love the salads. The chips are good. And my family loves the wraps.

Never had a bad meal here. This one was opened after the owners sold their Narragansett one. If you talk to anyone from Narragansett they'll tell you it's not the same since they left. However, if you're able to take the drive to Westerly, I highly recommend it as this is where it's at. Big sandwiches and a great owner. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped in for lunch on the way to the beach. I haven't had Pick Pockets since college and was anxious to try it. The Works was as good as I remembered. My son had the Fish and Chips and it was awesome. It was unlike the fish and chips we're used to made from cod or haddock. The fish was thin, probably flounder or similar, nicely fried, and perfect for a picky eater. The fries were good, too. Staff was super friendly. When we ordered two drinks between the four of us (we don't mind sharing) she suggested that we grab a couple small cups to divvy up our drinks. You don't get cooler or nicer than that. The best way to explain this restaurant is a Mediterranean subway. The french fries have been a little disappointing, so feel free to skip those. But the falafel is delicious. The meat (chicken, steak, etc) wraps are always very generous with the meat. You can add on additional vegetables, which I really like. The chicken pesto is fantastic and their pita chips are AMAZING (albeit some can be a bit spicy, so check the pack before you choose). read more

I love it here. There used to be one in East Greenwich but they closed, not too sure if they were affiliated in anyway. The pick pocket sandwich is heavenly. It is sooo scrumptious. While the food is great, I do find the service to be sort of lacking. Sometimes the staff are not as warm and friendly as most places, or sometimes they rather chat with one another verses paying attention to those who are waiting. My family and I discovered this gem of a place after a long hike around Napatree point. The staff was so very friendly. The food was delicious. I had the falafel with pita chips and hummus. I've been a customer of Pick Pockets since they opened. I enjoy their quality and freshness of the many different food items they offer. My personal favorite is a chicken Cesar salad made with grilled buffalo chicken. Went today to Pick Pockets for the first time. My wife had the Pilgrim wrap and I had the Chicken stir fry wrap with a side of 1/2 pint of tortellini, small bag of chips. bill was like $22. Always the freshest of ingredients and tasty food. I have been coming to eat here for the past 3 years and have never been disappointed. I especially love the gyros and chicken stir fry on pita pocket. in addition, the hummus is simply the best. I cannot say enough good things about Pick Pockets. First and foremost is the excellent food. I have enjoyed everything I've tried and the Falafel platter is great! I've had everything in that platter elsewhere and Pick Pockets does it best, even including fine Mediterranean restaurants. Secondly, the staff. I have to think the manager is a really good boss or the owner has 10 daughters because the staff seem care about doing a good job, like they have a portion of the profits. Love love love the falafel at Pick Pockets. They're made to order and nice and crispy. The flavor and texture is spot on. The tahini sauce is nice and garlic-y, the pita is always nice and fresh and soft. We strop in for lunch here frequently when visiting family in the area. Always a pleasure whenever I go here! Very clean and staff is always friendly and helpful in explaining what they offer. I usually ask for some additional veggies or less sauce and they accomodate. The quality has definitely gone down in the past year or so. I use to go to the one is wakefield before the westerly branch opened. I love their athena wrap and it is usually very delicious when it is done right. The consistency varies. Sometimes when I order the owner/manager picks up and the makes my wrap, it tastes awesome. Other times when he is not, whoever made my wrap did not do a good job. It is soggy and very messy to eat. It falls apart after 2 bites and there are sauces/liquids from the veggie dipping everywhere. I only go back occasionally these days. read more
