Thai iced tea in the sunshine!
    Chelsea W.

We stopped here today for a late lunch after playing disc golf near by. The weather was perfect for sitting outside in the patio area in front of the store. They are not doing indoor dining at this time but customers are free to use the outside seating and ordering take out. The employee who helped us was incredibly friendly and served our drinks and food to us outside despite there being no wait service. I wish I caught her name to give her a shout out. They were out of paper plates but provided us an extra to go box (without asking, super thoughtful) and plenty of napkins and cutlery. The food was just at good as the service! Everything we tried was delicious: curry puffs, scallion pancakes, rag nar, gai grob and of course two Thai iced teas. Do yourself a favor and get the curry puffs and scallion pancakes. The curry puffs have flaky buttery pastry with an aromatic Thai vegetarian curry filling and the scallion pancakes were expertly crisped with a finishing sugar that elevated the whole appetizer. The sauces for both were also drinkable they were so tasty. Everything tasted so fresh and loving prepared. What are you waiting for? Treat yourself to some takeout tonight!

Good Pad Thai - I always get it extra spicy. I think I had drunken noodles here as well with shrimp ... also very good. Decent prices too.

I ordered takeout, and the food was ready within 20 minutes. The woman who handed me the food was really nice and welcoming. Great service all around. Here's what we ordered: crab rangoons, vegetable summer rolls, chicken satay, beef drunken noodles, duck pad Thai, duck lion city noodles, and a Thai tea. The crab rangoons were definitely the highlight of the meal. These were genuinely great -- crispy, creamy, flavorful, and just really satisfying. My family loved them, and I would go back just for these alone. I'm guessing they're even better fresh out of the kitchen. The vegetable summer rolls were okay. Fresh and decent, but I wish they came with more dipping sauce -- we barely had enough for three people. Would've liked some protein in them too, but they were still a solid starter. The chicken satay just wasn't it for me. It was on the dry side and didn't have much flavor, even with the peanut sauce. My sister and mom liked it, so I think this one comes down to personal preference, but I wouldn't order it again. As for the noodle dishes -- they were all just mid. The beef drunken noodles, duck pad Thai, and duck lion city noodles were fine, but none of them stood out. They weren't bland, but they also weren't memorable. I was hoping for bold flavors, especially in the lion city noodles, but that one especially fell flat. I expected a dry curry noodle dish and instead got something that tasted like a basic stir fry. Not bad, just not exciting. The duck in both dishes was cooked fine, but again -- nothing wow-worthy. The Thai tea was a miss. I could tell just by looking at it that it had too much milk, and once I tasted it, it was basically sweet cream with barely any tea flavor. Wouldn't get again. Overall, the service was lovely and the crab rangoons made it worth the trip, but everything else was kind of forgettable. I wouldn't say no if someone wanted to come back here, but I also wouldn't be the one suggesting it. Still, for the area, it's nice to have a Thai spot that's fast and friendly -- I just wish the flavors packed a bit more punch.

The owners are from Bangladesh, and they are quick to point out that this is not an East Indian restaurant but a fusion restaurant (I have never been clear on what a fusion restaurant is other than expanded menu). There were a number of dishes normally seen on menu from an Indian restaurant but no Nan bread. Instead they have paratha which if found I liked more The food was excellent. Previous cautions regarding wait time for food correct as I think every thing is freshly made rather than scooped up from last weeks offering. The ambience was modest (think small town diner rather than five star Michelin restaurant). I am more interested in quality of food. They do have a nice outdoor space. They caution regarding how hot you order food. My wife ordered it at 1/10 and was good. I have the Fireman's bowl and I think that is a 3 or 4 out of 10. I asked to have an order of Dal for take out at the heat that the chef usually eat it at. After signing a consent form and waiver (joking) she gave me an order of dal at 8/10. I tried it at this heat and yes, probably should have a glass of milk or some yogurt to cut the heat. I will try a 10/10 next time. All I all an excellent experience and one to be repeated.

The menu had a little bit of everything ranging from Thai to sushi to Vietnamese, a very fusion type feel to it. The service was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. Three items were ordered and tried. They consisted of the sushi nachos ($14.95), bao buns with chicken katsu ($12.95) and the Mystic River roll ($19.95). The nachos had diced tuna, sliced avocado, Pico de Gallo, topped with spicy avocado sauce and tobiko and served over fried wonton skins. There was a nice portion here. I thought they were going to be small wontons, but this was a pleasant surprise. There was a great ratio of flavors, and I really enjoyed the small dicing of everything. The bao buns were topped with sliced cucumbers, spring onions, carrots, and some type of sweet hoisin sauce it appeared. The chicken was very crispy and tasty. The bun was okay. It was a little tough. I did enjoy the sweet factor from the sauce to pair with the hot and crunchy chicken. The Mystic River roll had tuna, salmon, mango, as well as avocado topped with spicy mayo and was wrapped in a rice wrapper. This was alright. There was a lot of mayo present, which took away from the fish flavor, but it still was not bad. The rice wrapper was an interesting choice, but overall, okay. Will I go back? Probably.

The sushi we got was really fresh and fantastic. I got the orange chicken as an entrée and it was very crispy and the chicken meat was good inside. The weight staff was super nice and attentive the whole time, it was also very sweet that at the end of our meal they brought out a small gift for my brother to unwrap now my brother and his wife come to this restaurant often so I thought maybe this was just something they were doing because they knew them but when asked, they said that they do this for all the customers and I thought that was the coolest thing. My kids loved the avocado and shrimp tempura rolls, which they both add so fast. My wife enjoys her scallops and ordered the scallon in black bean sauce. She said the scallop is fresh and tastes sweet. Couldn't help it but I did steal some of scallop and can confirm it was fresh and sweet. For a lunch special we ordered general tso and sesame chicken which were both crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated with a generous amount of sauce. The lunch special comes with a choice of soup. My kids chose the egg drop soup and I chose the hot and sour soup. Both soups were good. Why not 5 star? I thought the bathroom could use some improvement? At first my wife said it smelled like poop, and I really thought it was just her thinking that. Keep in mind that its 2 bathrooms, one for the ladies and one for the gents. When I stepped into the restroom for men, I immediately was overtaken by the smell of poop. They need to improve their ventilation system and also put in some air freshener. If it weren't for the bathroom issue, I'd definitely rate this place 5 stars. Food was amazing, would definitely come here again.
