I've got nothing but GREAT things to say about Corner Thai. We've been going there for years because the food is SO delicious. We've have plenty of Thai restaurants closer to our home but we don't even bother with them because Corner Thai is leaps and bounds better. I'm a big fan of their Pad See Ew (it's delicious), and if you get a chance, make sure to try their curry puffs. They're amazing. The people are so sweet and welcoming, and I've never had a bad or disappointing experience there. Would DEFINITELY recommend checking them out! read more

Cute cozy little thai place in the back corner of the plaza. Absolutely deliciously amazing gra prow chicken. It was so flavorful with the perfect level of spice heat. I also had the kanom jeep steamed dumplings which are like shumai. They were good but not my favorite. We went here after another local restaurant refused to serve us as it was 7:45 and they closed at 8! From start to finish the experience was excellent. Warm welcome, excellent service, accommodations on the menu (vegetarian), and, above all, food was delicious. We stopped here today for a late lunch after playing disc golf near by. The weather was perfect for sitting outside in the patio area in front of the store. They are not doing indoor dining at this time but customers are free to use the outside seating and ordering take out. The employee who helped us was incredibly friendly and served our drinks and food to us outside despite there being no wait service. I wish I caught her name to give her a shout out. They were out of paper plates but provided us an extra to go box (without asking, super thoughtful) and plenty of napkins and cutlery. The food was just at good as the service! Everything we tried was delicious: curry puffs, scallion pancakes, rag nar, gai grob and of course two Thai iced teas. Do yourself a favor and get the curry puffs and scallion pancakes. The curry puffs have flaky buttery pastry with an aromatic Thai vegetarian curry filling and the scallion pancakes were expertly crisped with a finishing sugar that elevated the whole appetizer. The sauces for both were also drinkable they were so tasty. Everything tasted so fresh and loving prepared. What are you waiting for? Treat yourself to some takeout tonight! read more

The Thai Corner Cafe is a quaint restaurant tucked away in the corner of a small strip mall in westerly. Being small doesn't mean it's not worth trying. Oh it is!! The food is fresh, tasty and s was hag I expect Thai food to be. My wife and I are happy to have found this place as our typical go to Thai restaurant just hasn't been bringing it to the table recently. It is a little further of a drive for us but it's worth it. Both folks we have dealt with are just the sweetest people. I am very happy to support this local business and hope that others support them as well. read more

We do like this place, a lot. They make some nice soups and everything else is equally tasty. Curry's are fantastic and you can tell the place is centered around the food, like any good restaurant should be. Life has changed after Covid and it may be a while before everyone is back to full strength, but this is one of the places that hasn't missed a beat. Always so friendly and nice too. Won't break your wallet either unless you try really, really, hard. It's a small cafe style place so expect personal service if there is room. read more

This Thai place is delicious!! I loved their pad thai!! I am usually quite picky about pad thai but really enjoyed theirs. The crab cheese was good and still crispy after a 20 drive home. The corner rolls are good and refreshing byt very simple and light. The homemade sauce is thick and sweet. The kanom jeep was okay, I felt it was a little dry and plain for me. The hot pik gai was good but not super spicy. The beef golden eggplant was good and the eggplant was amazing in it! The pad mee was very good as well the sauce had a slight sweetness to it but it was delicious! This place is in the plaza next to Junk & Java and is certainly a place I will be visiting again! read more

This restaurant is my favorite restaurant in the area. Since coming back from Asia I have been searching for authentic and delicious Tom yum soup and I have found it here in Corner Thai cafe. In addition, this restaurant has, quite possibly, some of the best yellow curry I have had in a very long time. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is that, on top of the usual Thai curry and stir fried noodles, they also offer yellow curry and green curry fried rice (which are two of my all time favorite dishes!). I love coming here to try more menu items or stick to my usual go-tos. The owners are so sweet and you can really taste the love in each dish they make. I absolutely love the Pad Cha Duck. It is my go to meal. It's half a duck fried and then simmered in a delicious sauce. There's baby corn, red and green bell peppers, onions, basil, bay leaves, lemon grass, carrots, green beans and even a strand of fresh peppercorns (I had to google what it was). The duck does not seem gamey or fatty. It's served over white rice. The waitress, Anne, is such a hard worker but makes time to chat with us when ever we eat in. During the summer months the out door seating is prime! So the Pad Cha Duck and Chicken Fiery Pad Thai along with the Roti and Crispy Spring Roll appetizers is a perfect size for 3 or 4. It's just about under $50 which is totally worth it. This is not express dining. It's home cooked food. Great quality. Flavor explosion in your mouth. Seriously. read more

This is such a gem in westerly. The decor is very warm and welcoming, and the staff is even more so! Our waitress was extremely kind and attentive. The food was incredible. You can tell that everything is made from scratch in the kitchen about 20 feet from where you're sitting. The crazy thing is that the prices are so low! You're getting extremely fresh, homemade food for a fraction of the price of other restaurants that rely on frozen foods. I had a deliciously sweet Thai iced tea, the BEST crab Rangoon I've ever had, and the Pad See with tofu. The tofu was cooked absolutely perfectly and the veggies and noodles were delicious. We had: spring rolls- great sauce, thick and easily picked up by the roll Friend got Pad see ew -so good, saucy and noodles perfectly cooked Drunken noodle- the vermicelli rice noodle was a surprise since I'm used to the thicker noodles but this gamble paid off!!! Ordered from Corner Thai for the first time last night & all four members of my family gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up! We ordered the Siam Combo, Chicken Sate, Moo Ping, Kanom Jeep, a spicy curry whose name I can't remember (because I didn't eat it) & we were all very satisfied. The Chicken Sate is a really wonderful portion size for an appetizer & I was glad I ordered it for my meal- it was more than filling. My son is still talking about the Moo Ping today. The inside of this spot looks and feels so dreamy. I was only picking up but even just those few moments made me want to come back for a date night. I've been on a hunt for the best Pad Thai in town and after trying 2 other places.. THIS IS THE ONE. Delicious flavor, noodles weren't gummy and there was enough sauce to really get the flavor. I spend a lot of time working in Asia, so I don't like local Asian foot. It is not authentic enough for me,usually. I went into the this restaurant and asked for Som Tom. The owner was surprised when i ordered in Thai. I was surprised when I tasted the food. It is real Thai! This is a small restaurant that is owned by a very nice Thai lady. She tries very hard to keep the food authentic, even though Thai ingredients are hard to find here in the winter. Her business is an asset to the local community. I urge everyone to go to her restaurant and order Som Tom or Kao Pad Poo. You will love it. And, when she asks where you learned the Thai, just say Ray told me. read more
