I've been coming here for probably two years now and it is my favorite place to get take out in westerly! They are all kind and the food is authentic and delicious! Highly recommend! read more

Curry Puffs and Roti for appetizers are impressive! To say the least! Completely mouth watering. The drunken noodles here use glass noodles (not wide flat noodles I'm used to) but the dish wash terrific! It's a small restaurant and not overcrowded. Perfect for lunch or dinner for 4 or less people per table. Or perfect for take out! Sweet service too. Most importantly, the food is fresh and authentic. This place is a must try! read more

Good Pad Thai - I always get it extra spicy. I think I had drunken noodles here as well with shrimp ... also very good. Decent prices too.

I really like this place. My favorite is tomyum and thai milk tea. I drink it every day read more

Was in the area so stopped in for lunch today. Ordered the fried tofu as an app and the panang curry for entree. I am a plant based eater so these were perfect. Tofu was fried tofu nothing to special but was cooked right and served hot. The panang curry is by far one of my favorite Thai dishes to order and I order it at almost every Thai restaurant o go to. There's is very good, just enough spice/heat but not to much the sweetness comes through nice and the freshness of the kaffir leaves sets it off. You can tell it was cooked to order and finished like a sauce should be. Definitely recommend stopping in and giving them a try. read more

The pineapple fried rice was good. Opted for the chicken, which had meaty pieces of chicken, not slithers like some places. Also contained pineapple, nuts, raisins, onion. Generous portion for the money ($10.95 dinner) The Grilled Combo was also good. Came with chicken, pork, beef and shrimp. One kebab had peppers and pineapple. The beef was a little tough, would try to get that replaced with another shrimp, etc. two sauces accompanied the plate, a spicy lime sauce and a BBQ sauce for the pork. I requested soy and peanut sauces and they were happy to do so. Peanut sauce better with chicken. ($15.95) The Thai iced tea was very good. ($2.50) The owner was kind enough to offer us a pumpkin custard for dessert, which we declined. Sounded good, but had enough food. read more

The food is so flavorful! Staff are very nice. Best Thai food in the area. A must try if you're in Westerly looking for quality Thai food

Went for a second time and took my wife. She'd never had Thai before, but absolutely loved it... Especially the salad which I ordered for my dinner, but she ended up eating. She enjoyed her shrimp pad tai too. Even the next day leftovers. Owners were exceptionally nice. Going back soon!! Very healthy. read more

Best Thai food in the area right now. Love the drunken noodles and the staff is so sweet and easy to work with making substitutions. Only takeout right now FYI read more

Oh my goodness. Best Thai food we've had in the US, and rivals the food in Thailand. Everything we got was amazing, including the Pad Thai - and I'd had mediocre Pad Thais for so long I'd almost given up on the dish. Service was great and it's a cute vibe, very casual but warm and welcoming. Can't wait to come back! read more

Amazing food!!! Best Thai I've had. Highly recommend and will be back!! First time but won't be the last time!!

Absolutely delicious food, and such kind service! Affordable and huge portions! Amazing curries and crab rangoons, fresh veggies ! Yum!

Just had another AMAZING MEAL at Thai Corner. Tom yum fish soup and deep fried fish in peanut sauce. Yum yum yum!

Loved this place. Tiny and HOT HOT HOT inside. Like, too hot. But the cheerful hostess/server and the food more than made up for it. I would have liked to have sat outside, I think. We got drunken noodle with shrimp. It was surprisingly good, and I say that Bc I've never seen pad kee mao made with vermicelli rice noodles. It worked! Plot twist! We also had the mango and sticky rice and it was yum!!! read more

Great staff and service. Limited outdoor seating but I usually get takeout. The food is very good and has a great selection.

Everything about this place is warm and inviting - friendly staff, a cozy dining area and the perfect comfort food for a cold fall evening

AUTHENTIC & DELICIOUS!! I've been to Chiang Mai Thailand (where owner Ann is from) and the food here made me feel like I was back there. It's so tasty. They work so hard to make sure you have a great experience. We eat here as often as possible. Best Thai in Westerly and the area. Please support this local business! Great friendly, happy service, clean, and one of the best authentic Thai cooking. We visited Westerly for the week and their delicious home cooking style brought us back 3 times during the our stay. Most Thai restaurants are too sweet in flavors or spicy, and sour, but Corner Thai Cafe flavors their dishes perfectly. Highly recommend the shrimp & chicken pad Thai, chicken larb salad, shrimp tom yum soup, wonton soup, papaya salad, mango & sticky rice. Thank you Corner Thai Cafe! read more

Stopped by this place because of the good reviews and positive reputation. However after eating my share of curry, I fail to see how this curry is a curry? It was served in a quart container and had the consistency of soup. The flavors were good. Would try again but opt for a non curry option. read more

Great, fresh food! Small cute little place. Staff is friendly, our waitress gave us good suggestions on what to order.

Having grown up in Westerly I didn't realize how spoiled I was with a Thai place this good so close to home. Now that I've lived in several different cities I can appreciate just how rare Corner Thai is, especially in a small town. When I come back to visit, it's one of the few restaurants my whole family can agree on! Amazing read more

Amazing fresh, authentic Thai food in a simple clean restaurant. New ownership & a family business. I believe the family is from Laos - lots of healthy & spicy dishes. Both indoor & outdoor dining. Free WiFi! Open 7 days a week (Monday's, too). We love the BYOB & how close it is to downtown Westerly. If you feel like staying home can also get DoorDash delivery. Chan (in the kitchen) & wife Sue are so sweet. Order take out or dine on one of the indoor tables. This is our new date spot! read more

Fantastic!!! I mixed the extra spicy pad Thai with the regular pad Thai. Explosive culinary goodness! Super friendly people and definitely worth trying! I am a local and this will be one of my regular stops for sure. Thanks for the delicious food! read more

Five Stars hardly does this little Thai Restaurant gem justice. I have eaten there 6 or 7 times now and I am always overwhelmed at how significantly better they are compared to so many others I have dined in. If you are a Thai food lover this place should be at the top of your destination list, after your first meal , you will be singing its praises from the mountain tops with the rest of the chorus of religious followers who dine there regularly. From the Tom Kar Gai, which I might add is the very best example of that soup I have had any where, to the crispy fried egg rolls, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao and duck dishes, I doubt seriously you will find fresher ingredients prepared and presented as beautifully with such incredibly well balanced flavors as you will find at Corner Thai Cafe. There are many Thai dishes on their menu that you will not find anywhere else, perhaps with the exception of a trip to Thailand. The service is impeccable, the food is of extraordinary quality and the measure of pleasure, well simply immeasurable! read more

I do not claim to be a Connoisseur of Thai Cuisine (I live in Westerly), nor would I claim to be a real die-hard Thai Aficionado (I'm from New Jersey), but I CAN tell you that I have never gotten something at this restaurant that I haven't loved. Not liked--Loved, like "can't-wait-for-the-next-bite" Loved. First off, the ambiance is perfect--quiet, but not awkwardly or conspicuously so. The music is always kept at a nice level and the service is always on-point, friendly, accommodating, detail-oriented. I don't know what goes on in that kitchen behind the divider, but it must be something magnificent, because when I tell you that you can taste different colors from the food here, I actually mean that you will be tasting actual colors that you've never seen before and the sense data will filter from your taste-buds through your bloodstream and into your brain where pleasure sensors will release serotonin in large quantities. And then, the next time you take a bite, some other color replaces the four new ones you just saw, and so on and so forth. Get the Chrysanthemum Tea (duh), and please do yourself a favor and get the Pad Thai for God's sake, because it tastes like a hundred things zooming around in your mouth, but it's really just noodles with eggs and sprouts and onions and peanut sauce. And it's not too spicy; or expensive--if you make it by lunch the Pad Thai is $8, (dinner $11). The Calimari you can get grilled or not (can't go wrong with $7) or get the Corner Rolls (seriously) "Rice paper roll with lettuce, carrot, basil leaves and chicken served with our homemade sauce (ask for vegetarian) 5.95." As far as Curry is concerned, this is your place even if you like the "jungle" variety, and Drunken Noodles? You can get it "non-spicy" and nobody looks at you weird. Look at this one taken from their menu: Pad Corner Our special dish in the house, stir-fried Pumpkin, jalapeño, basil leaves, onion and bell pepper with chilli sauce Come on--as they say in Jersey. This place is the real thing. And I will be wiping sweat off my brow no matter how many people tell me that "it's not spicy." And I will continue to eat with chopsticks despite many repeated attempts to stop me! Written--(not emblazoned)--on the wall in Corner Thai Cafe off the beaten path in Westerly, Rhode Island, maybe eye-level, is the phrase: "Happiness does not depend on what you have or who you are. It solely relies on what you 'think'." Thai food in my neighborhood. Who knew? read more

Round 2 was a success! The marinated pork ribs and OMG the drunken noodles were to die for. The ribs were as tender as if they were braised.... Delicious. :D as for the Drunken Noodles I must say that I've never seen it made with Chinese Glass Noodles before, but apparently it is the traditional way of making drunken noodles. Learn something new every day. So glad the second time around was everything I was hoping it would be. Don't bother with Pad Thai.... It's all about the Drunken Noodle! You won't regret it. :) read more

Excellent food and great service! Great selection of vegetarian options. Food was perfect temperature. Perfect blend of flavors. Had both a curry dish and spicy cashew. The sauce on the spicy cashew was incredible. Highly recommended! read more

The (only one) server is busy! 6+ tables and she seats you, takes all the orders, delivers all the food, takes your payment, and busses her own tables! Smiles and checks how you're doing. People tip accordingly!!! She was sweet and didn't rush or seem at all impatient that our eating dinner kept them open past close. Fried calamari app was delicious - big rings, crispy crunchy, NO grease , spicy sauce! Pad See Ew & Fiery Pad Thai were both delicious (great twist on my boring normal chicken pad Thai order), as was the Thai Iced Coffee. We came three or four years ago when they must have first opened or something and that was a very different atmosphere - renovations look great; what a nice, cute, quick place tucked in the corner. read more

Congratulations Chan and Seu on your new restaurant! Corner Thai Cafe is a tiny restaurant that packs quite a punch! We were a party of four tonight. We started with appetizers. Poor Pia, a crispy homemade egg roll with a sweet and sour dipping sauce and Kanom Jeep, a Thai dumpling made of minced chicken wrapped in a wonton wrapper and topped with scallion. We split the Basil fried rice. The menu stated it as spicy, but it wasn't spicy, just very tasty. We also had Drunken Noodles and Pad Mee Noodles. All were so good! Corner Thai Cafe is a BYB. Super good food, great prices and an awesome family run business! read more

Very tiny, intimate, hole in the wall type deal literally tucked away in the corner of the shopping plaza on Beach street. Perfect name. We were greeted and seated promptly. The service is very quick and friendly. A cute little girl served us our water glasses and when she placed them down, I guess it was heavier than she had anticipated and she spooked herself. Nothing to do with the food, but the service was upbeat and funny. I ordered Pad Thai without fish sauce and without egg, with vegetables -- I wasn't given any hassle or grief for my request like many other Thai restaurants tend to do. Our food was brought out quickly but not too quickly as you could tell it was made to order but efficiently. I didn't ask for heat so I had to ask for chili sauce and powder to spice up my dish. The flavor was consistent and fresh vegetables, not frozen were included. The prices are reasonable as well. Will I be back and drive out of my way for Thai food to relish this place? Yes. read more

My absolute favorite spot for Thai! When in Rhode Island I not only order their Chicken Pad Thai (medium heat requested - done perfectly) for dinner I usually also order some to bring back home to NJ to eat during the week. We have Thai restaurants down here but after eating at Corner Thai in Westerly I can't order from anywhere else! 5 Stars for sure! read more

Can't say enough about this little place. Family owned, small, quiet, and the Tom Yum is ridiculously good. Have never had anything that disappointed me, have been 4 or 5 times over the last year. Don't be snobby about the locale - strip malls can sometimes harbor amazing food finds. read more

We often visit Westerly and we are always in search of great local restaurants. After trying to find a thai restaurant we stumbled upon the Corner Thai Cafe. I have to say I thought I had good thai food at home (NYC) boy was I wrong! This place is amazing! I have been here twice so far and it's consistent! I have had the thai style dumplings, chicken wings and the pat thai. Everything was so fresh and seasoned well. I think we will visit this restaurant every visit. The restaurant itself is small and intimate and offers a very cozy feeling. The owner and staff are very sweet and it shows that they take pride in their cooking. So, if you're looking for authentic thai... Stop no further.. This place is amazing! read more

So good. I get the ga prow often and I love it. Seems to be reasonably priced, maybe a little on the high side but best I've had yet!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in all of Westerly! From the amazing and friendly staff, the authentic food, and the quaint location, there is nothing to not love. The Gang Luang is the best curry I have ever had, and the Drunken Noodles and Corner Rolls are both must try dishes. 5 stars, always. read more
