    Tomyum noodles

Food: 3/5. Food was great. We ordered son tom, green curry and tomyum noodles. Service: 1/5. We waited 50' for our food to come. The waitress would come to tables to fill up drinks but skipped us. She would make no eye contact nor come over to check on us during those long 50'. When we had to come to the counter to ask when our food would come, she gave a quick "it's being made" answer with no expression. It was an unpleasant experience and we will not come back.

Dined here yesterday evening with my friend and really really enjoyed the food there! So much so that I'm craving it again now and already thinking about going back even though it's quite a drive from my house. I got the pad kee mow, the chive cakes, the Thai iced tea with almond milk and boba, and the green iced tea with almond milk and boba and everything was delicious and super flavorful! I love that they were able to make all my dishes vegan and that they had almond milk for my Thai iced tea! Often times, I can't get this drink at Thai restaurants because there is no option for non dairy milk. I've gotten pad kee mow at many Thai restaurants and this was hands down one of the best I've had! The flavor was just sooo good! The chive cakes was an appetizer we ordered. I had never heard of it before and wasn't sure what to expect we got it because it sounded interesting. Well, we were in for a pleasant surprise because it was super tasty and the texture was really good. The sauce was also yummy! Service was good, food was good, 5 stars for me!

So happy I found this place! Will drive over an hour to eat here again. The employees made us feel so welcomed and checked in on us several times. The ambiance was a zen vibe and nicely decorated. The food, so good! They have a regular menu with your classic dishes. We ordered the dumplings, coconut shrimp, and Tom yum soup. Very authentic and beautifully plated. Our eyes ate first and our stomachs were so happy with everything. They have a chef's menu and we ordered the wonton bacon pad Thai. Such a creative twist to a well loved dish. It's hard to come by boat noodles and this one made it to my top 2 favorites, easily. Already planning our next feast here!

Chicken Pad Thai, elevated with some nice spice. This is the serving size from the children's menu. More than enough for my lunch.

While visiting Westerly I need a little food. Only ordered chicken pad Thai from the kid's menu. Asked for 3* heat. Excellent. I was impressed that the restaurant/server accommodated my request for a small meal. Kid's menu was their suggestion. Busy for takeout but the restaurant itself had a nice feel. Excellent , prompt service. Will return and sample other items from their nice menu

Stopped by for quick dinner in Westerly on our way home from Newport, and food at Thong Thai satisfied. Owner or the front lady was very welcoming and gave the impression of a family owned restaurant. My favorite was the Tom Yum soup. The Boat Noodle was alright, very sweet with hints of pho flavor. I've had something much better. Broth was piping hot, and noodle was over cooked. I didn't have the curry, but got a taste of it, and it was also very sweet. Thai tea was also very sweet. There seems to be a lot of take-out orders, so I'm sure locals love this place. Overall, I'd recommend if you crave some Asian food or if you're nearby. I'd give food here a 3.5.

Thong Thai... what a name! lol To be honest, it struck us all funny after having been drinking margaritas and wine prior to our visit. But anyhow, this was a cute little restaurant, the food was good, presentation was spot on and the service was great! We started with some apps... Steamed Chicken Dumplings and Coconut Shrimp. Both good! Little did we know our entree's came with a salad and two fried dumplings as well! For my meal I selected the Shrimp Pad Thai. It was good, but maybe just a little too sweet for me, as I found myself getting "sick of it" about half way through. My husband and our friend enjoyed their dishes, so overall, it was a good dining experience! I would go back, but I would choose a different noodle dish!!

When the app told me my food would be ready *after* the doors locked, I prepared for a "Mission Impossible" pickup. I headed in ten minutes later, and like magic, my order was already waiting on the counter. The place is cozy, nicely decorated, and I was greeted with a genuine smile despite my last-minute arrival. **The "In-Car" Appetizer:* I was starving, so the **Crab Rangoons** didn't even make it out of the parking lot. At first glance, the duck sauce container looked like it was made for an ant, and I prepared to be disappointed. It was actually the perfect amount! However, the rangoons themselves were a bit cold in the middle. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that the kitchen was already mid-closenight-cleanup and things got rushed, but biting into a cold rangoon was a bit of a letdown. On the bright side, the flavor was solid, even if the dipping logistics were a bit of a geometric challenge. * **Pad See Ew:** My first time trying this, and I loved it! The wide, chewy noodles gave me major Chow Fun vibes, but with a sweet, savory sauce that hit all the right notes. * **Naim Chow (Soft Spring Rolls):** Fresh and tasty with a dipping sauce that actually had a nice little kick to it. The **Mango Sticky Rice** was the MVP of the night. The mango was at that "peak perfection" stage, and the rice was sweet and comforting. It was the perfect apology to my stomach for those cold rangoons. Despite the lukewarm start, the flavors here are a winner! I'd definitely come back--maybe just 40 minutes before closing next time!

The owners are from Bangladesh, and they are quick to point out that this is not an East Indian restaurant but a fusion restaurant (I have never been clear on what a fusion restaurant is other than expanded menu). Previous cautions regarding wait time for food correct as I think every thing is freshly made rather than scooped up from last weeks offering. The ambience was modest (think small town diner rather than five star Michelin restaurant). I am more interested in quality of food. They do have a nice outdoor space. They caution regarding how hot you order food. My wife ordered it at 1/10 and was good. I have the Fireman's bowl and I think that is a 3 or 4 out of 10. I asked to have an order of Dal for take out at the heat that the chef usually eat it at. After signing a consent form and waiver (joking) she gave me an order of dal at 8/10. I tried it at this heat and yes, probably should have a glass of milk or some yogurt to cut the heat. I will try a 10/10 next time. All I all an excellent experience and one to be repeated.

Keep in mind that its 2 bathrooms, one for the ladies and one for the gents. When I stepped into the restroom for men, I immediately was overtaken by the smell of poop. They need to improve their ventilation system and also put in some air freshener. If it weren't for the bathroom issue, I'd definitely rate this place 5 stars.
