It was a Wednesday afternoon at 12:30, but unfortunately we were told we could not have the special since they don't do it on game days. She wanted something small for lunch so it worked out well. THE DRINKS -after not being able to do the deal with the beer my friend went with the angry orchard on tap -I got a screwdriver. It was fine, a basic well drink. Didn't taste the vodka really so not sure how much their standard pour is. THE SERVICE -service was polite, attentive -we were the only ones in there for most of our time, so I'd be curious how service is when they get a bit busier. THE ATMOSPHERE -typical bar/restaurant vibe -nice bar, it seems like a cool place to hang out and watch the game Overall it was a nice lunch catching up with my friend and I'm glad I was able to check out the new location. The food and drinks were good--what you'd expect for a typical bar & restaurant and it's a nice, friendly, clean environment. If someone wanted to go back here I would join but it wouldn't be first on my list to recommend in Storrs Center. I ended up spending about $30 on a lunch I was expecting to spent around $13 on, so I'd say check the game day schedule so you aren't disappointed like us.
