I've been attempting to give this restaurant a fair chance, however every time I order food,…read morewhether it be breakfast or a small bite, it comes out cooked incorrectly, lacking flavor, and the random bits of food on my plate that I haven't ordered lead me to question the restaurants cleanliness. Recently, I purchased an egg and cheese on sourdough - the sourdough was plain white bread, I asked for my eggs cooked over hard, they were runny, and when I politely asked for them to fix my order, they literally took it back and threw it back on the grill, cross-contaminating it with everything else. Safe to say, I will never come back here, I've had enough unfortunate experiences with Dog Lane. **update. Establishment offered me a refund for my meal. I am still upset with the quality of food and service, however I am thankful for the reparations.

You could come…read morehere craving anything from pizza and grinders to authentic Greek apps and desserts to comforting soup to a quesadilla, and they're going to do it well. Even as a vegetarian, I feel like I have plenty of options to choose from. Service is always friendly and helpful, even when asking for substitutions. Their rewards program is great and adds up pretty quickly. Here are some highlights about a few menu items I've tried over the years: - Eggplant parm grinder: delicious, crunchy bread and tons of melted cheese - no longer available, but I really loved their Caesar Veggie Patty sandwich they used to have on a fresh ciabatta roll. I'd get it for takeout all the time during the pandemic, and it was a great meatless option with a unique flavor blend. Please bring this back!! - Tater tot side: tastes like McDonald's hash browns in the best way possible, so light and fluffy. I could probably eat a bucket of these and they were cooked to perfection! - Side salads / any salad: always fresh, and the parmesan peppercorn dressing is my favorite version of it I can get anywhere! - Meatless wings (aka cauliflower bites): tons of sauces to choose from, and a unique offering I don't see often. The portion is huge! I love the parmesan garlic option but they're quite oily, so if you're getting takeout, beware - and have friends to split with because you'll get a ton! Tasty but I never need more than a few pieces worth - great to share. I also got a margarita flight today for their Sunday special, making it only $12 for 3 flavors that you can choose. They were sweet and not too boozy tasting, yet strong, and went down easily - I was impressed! Their beer and drink special menu is always changing and I can always find quality and unique offerings. The only thing I'd wish would be different is the ambiance. It's just always so dang dark in here, it makes me tired and feel like I'm in a much divier place than I am. They also always have this habit of seating you directly across from the one or two other occupied booths, so it feels like your neighbor can hear everything you're saying when it's not as busy. I really hate that and would appreciate more privacy! We also hate when we're seated in the first room by the entrance - it feels like such an afterthought, and sometimes staff is sitting in a booth right near you rolling silverware...just seems like you're not supposed to be there. Some of the booths by the bar are really small, and even when I'm the only one on my side, it feels like I'm about to fall out sideways, so I ask for a larger booth. The food and menu options here are truly great! My family requests to come here often. I just desperately want another light fixture or two and some more personal space while dining. Happy hour specials are also great, but they're not joking when they say you HAVE to sit at the bar for them! (Again a less nice atmosphere when you do that) Thanks for all the yummy memories, RRC, you're a much needed gem in the area!

Oriental Cafe has really nailed it the last couple of times I've gone…read more Earlier this year, I went here for dine in. It was a holiday weekend and we were the only ones dining in, but takeout orders were booming and our waitress (a very friendly and welcoming short Asian woman) was doing an amazing job checking in on us, and running over to the takeout area constantly to give people orders. On that day, I really enjoyed my Miso Soup (a perfect small portion to warm me up) and Teriyaki Tofu, although it came with a ton of onions that I did not care for. It came out sizzling hot and seemed to continue to cook after it was on my table, so the onion flavor became really strong and almost gave me a headache, but I ate around it. The veggies were fresh and the tofu had a great crispy breading on it. The sauce was very thick and a little went a long way - I almost wish it were a little thinner so it could spread more evenly across my food to give it some moisture. Today I ordered takeout online through the Seamless site. It said food would be ready in 10-15 minutes, which felt crazy fast. Lo and behold, about 12 minutes after I placed my order, I got a text that it was already ready for pickup! I couldn't grab it until well over 20 minutes had gone by, and even by the time I got home, everything was still perfectly hot and nothing had to be reheated. A young man gave me my order and I was in and out of the plaza in 60 seconds or less, so efficient and no wait! I tried the Teriyaki Tofu again today because I really did love it, but keep forgetting to ask for no onions. I also got the Peanut Avocado Maki Roll with Spicy Mayo - I've never seen this combo for sushi and had to try it! The seaweed had a really strong flavor that surprisingly overpowered the peanuts, how odd. I almost wish this came with some sort of peanut sauce to really double down on the flavor! It was good and fresh but a little less exciting than I thought it'd be. Their menu has a wide range of both Chinese and Japanese dishes. There's plenty of parking in the shared lot, and you have to go down some steps to the bottom floor of the plaza. The steps are a little tilted, so watch out. I'm not sure if there is a mobility impaired accessible way to access this floor. Prices seem reasonable and takeout was very fast. I'll be back!

To my surprise, the store's front door was already locked. When I went to the window to inquire about my food, the employee there made a snarky remark and told me to leave. This is absolutely unacceptable. I'm now $4 poorer and have no caffeine in my system (I was adding a turbo to my BRZ that day, so I was really tired), so that made my day a lot worse. There's no excuse for closing 40 minutes early and treating customers who simply want the food they paid for this way. Do Better.

Both dishes were kept hot which I appreciated. The lamb came out on a sizzling tray with smoke - seasoned to perfection. Small portion for the price. Our appetizers were probably my least favorite - good, but I wish the were hotter in temperature as if they were sitting or not made as fresh. The vegetable Manchurian had your typical Manchurian sauce which paired nice with the crisp of the vegetable fritter. I would recommend going for my usual cauliflower Manchurian next time. The samosa chaat was good - a lot of texture but the yogurt made the dish relatively cold. Maybe because it was cold outside I really preferred something warmer. The restaurant decor is nothing to rave about - it gives very much so hole in the wall but you're not going for that. You're going for the food. Our waiter was soooo kind and had a pleasant smile. I asked for spicy sauce on the side and woah! Did not disappoint you only need a sprinkle of it. I would definitely return.
