Two Slices of Cheese Pizza with Oregano, Chili Flakes and Parmesan Cheese
    Kyla K.

This little hole in the wall shop doesn't look like much at first glance, but it is has everything you need for a quick lunch. You can order two garlic knots for $1! They aren't anything extraordinary but will do what it needs to satisfy a craving. For me, cheese pizza is a safety choice. It is my go-to if I want something simple. Their cheese pizza was exactly that. Again, it is nothing extravagant. It is only as good as cheese pizza goes. Each slice was pretty massive and $3 each. In total, I spent $7! A steal if you ask me. The servers were incredibly nice, too. This shop is more of a dive pizza spot. Nothing fancy. I heard they're open late, so definitely keep this place in mind for late night munchies!

Buffalo Wings and a Cheesesteak.. They don't even chop up the lettuce or fill it up. Gross

Honestly, I dislike writing bad reviews but the food here was horrible and it took forever to be made, customer service was good though which is unfortunate. First, we ordered buffalo wings, a cheesesteak, fries and pizza slices. Buffalo wings definitely had a weird taste to them for buffalo wings they were actually kinda sweet, and were not crispy at all. The cheesesteak, please do not order this.. first the meat was completely over cooked with small burnt pieces, it was barely filled with anything in the bread and we asked for lettuce added to it. They did not even have the lettuce chopped, please see the picture to see what I'm referring to, it was as they took the ice berg lettuce, cut it in half and just threw it on top. The French fries were extremely greasy. I stated the customer service was good because they were friendly even after we complained about the cheesesteak and sent it back they were still nice to us and understanding without charging us for it. We asked for two slices of plain pizza which had absolutely no flavor which was disappointing again. They have a large menu compared to other pizzerias in the area but from our experience they really lack in their flavor and food.

I stopped in here last night after hanging out a nearby bar for a bacon chicken ranch slice. They get a star for being open after 1 am. I was able to get in and out. The slice was $4. However the flavor was meh nothing special. The chicken was little dry the ranch had great flavor and the bacon was crispy I think chicken needs more flavor. Convenience is what wins out here and the service was decent I can't complain about that another star for their service. I pretty much knew what to expect from looking at other reviews. Average pizza for the late hours it served my need!

Just ordered food arrived within 25 min hot. I ordered a Cheese & antipasto salad. People were friendly & the potion of the calzone is enough to feed me for at least two meals. I live a mile 1/2 away put will deff order food for pick up. There pizzas looked great when I ran into grab a menu. They take cash & credit cards!!! Driver was friendly also.

Tony's on Dekalb is the best, without a doubt, but Tony is just one guy. He doesn't do delivery, he isn't open until 3AM, and he doesn't have the expansive menu of Ganni's. When Tony's is closed and I'm hankering for some pizza, a cheesesteak, or a huge order of garlic knots, I come here. The pizza is pretty good by New York standards and the service is always friendly. I still really love how late they're open, perfect for night owls or people coming back from late night partying. If I wasn't gaga over Tony's regular pie, I'd be the duke of this place instead.

When it's past midnight and you're craving pizza, I recommend this place. Fast delivery within 20 minutes of me calling and the pizza was hot and tasty! I also ordered mozzarella sticks and they were good. Cheese pizza was great. I'll be ordering from here again

Well, I said I'd come by again, and I did. This time, I went with some pizza and some chicken parm on pasta. The difference really is night and day! The chicken quality was admittedly still a bit mcnuggety (basically, don't order anything with chicken), but the sauce was excellent this time around, and the pasta was good as well (though when I asked for it "al dente", all I got was blank looks.) It came with bread, and all told, was an ok meal at a great value. I had come absolutely famished however, and knew I wanted to try the pizza, and that's what really keeps this place afloat. Now -that- is some pizza! Trouble is, the rest of their food is pretty unfortunate, so their overall, not so great. Still loud too. Not so much a romantic date spot.

Situated at the corner of East 15th Street and Avenue J, the establishment was owned and managed by Domenico DeMarco (1936-2022), but now his family continues that legacy. Food critics and bloggers frequently rank it among the top pizzerias in New York City. Di Fara has received numerous accolades, including being named the "Best pizza in New York" by publications such as New York and Serious Eats. The New York Times described the restaurant as "one of the most acclaimed and sought-after pizza shops in New York City." In 2011, Zagat ranked it as the top pizza restaurant in the city, and in 2013, Frommer's called its pizza "the Best Hand-Made Pizza in New York City." Chef Anthony Bourdain also expressed admiration for the restaurant's pizza. I had long hoped to visit Di Fara, so I decided to make a trip from Connecticut. Upon entering, my son and I observed that it was quite busy. There is also a window for ordering, but we chose to go inside to order our food to experience the atmosphere fully. We each ordered a freshly prepared Sicilian slice. Unlike some places, there was no pre-made pizza on display. Each slice is made to order, and it takes about twenty-five minutes to prepare. When we received our pizza, it was notably greasy. The Sicilian slices resembled a full meal, topped with garlic and pepperoni. The garlic was quite prominent and flavorful, adding a nice punch which I liked. The pepperoni was crispy, and the undercarriage had a nice crunch, though it was also quite oily. In my personal opinion, it wasn't the best slice I've ever tasted. However, I understand that when the owner, Dom, was alive, the pizza was considered exceptional by many. I would rate it around 3.5 stars, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience pizza from one of New York's most iconic establishments.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Not sure what the menu currently says, but the menu from just 3 months ago said it's 18% for a party under 6. Maybe they've changed it. Not sure. This is the first restaurant we've been to with 20% auto gratuity for a party under 6. But the borderline dishonest part is that the check that you sign tells you in tiny letters that tip was already added, but has huge font for additional tip and written out tip calculations, so it is very easy to tip 40% without noticing. Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.
