I only am giving it a three because my friend really likes it. I think it's a 2.5 stars only because i didn't think it was all that. The katsu sauce wasn't what i was expecting. I was hoping for more of a brown sauce but it was sort of tart and dark. then they didn't have siracha but gave me a mixed version of their gochujang sauce. Maybe it's just not my type of korean food. Service was average but it seemed like other customers enjoyed it.

The spicy pork & squid was not the greatest, there aren't any flavor in the squid. Only the pork was marinated with flavor, quite disappointing. The LA Kalbi short rib was 'sour', that tells me about food quality concern. The side veggies are nice to have so that brings it up to a two stars. The soup was good. But the main entrees are just not up to par

This place is within walking distance from hotel so we decided to try it. We went with a BBQ selection for 2. There were the customary small dishes of kimchi and pickled veggies. A bowl of tofu soup. They were 4 kinds of meats to grill. A small dish of salt and sesame as well as gochujang for dipping. I was thinking to order their seafood pancake but likely we would not be able to finish.

The food was amazing! My favorite was the beef bulgogi. Service was amazing, super clean place and honestly for a smaller town like Tri-cities the ambiance inside is super modern and sleek, it makes you feel like you're in a nicer place in a big city!

Our very food venturous seven-year-old decided that he wanted Korean BBQ and hot pot for his birthday this year and after looking in the surrounding areas, this is the spot we found! So one random Monday evening we all jumped in the car and headed down here for him an exciting dinner. The place is located in a strip mall in Kennewick just passed the main attractions. It's not overly large, but they had seating for probably 50 and four or five tables that allowed for Korean BBQ. For the barbecue they have a combination options or you can order meats individually. We opted for some Bulgogi beef and some Gulbe. Both were delicious, but the Bulgogi edged out the Galbi. We also grabbed some hot pot. We're used to the Chinese style where it's affectively making soup in front of you and you add your own vegetables and meats. Here they bring you a premade soup that it's just heated at the table. It was good, but we definitely prefer the Chinese style. We also got some Korean style noodles that we have not tried. The jajungmyun Was a really good noodle dish with a thick bean paste on top. It was a favorite amongst the kids! The drink options included Sake, Soju (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soju) and plenty of beer/wine options. Prices were fair and the service was good. We'd get the BBQ and noodles again, but probably skip the hot pot. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out!

The food was ok we order a couple things but my favorite was cheese corn. The place was nice and clean and the service was pretty fast.

My first time eating at Gangnam, it was my twin grandkids 14th birthday and they picked Gangnam for their birthday dinner. None of the food was bad, it was pretty good overall. Where the food was lacking was the pork belly, let's be honest, it was bacon not pork belly. Pork belly is a thick cut of the pork's belly, hence the name pork belly. If you decide to go eat at Gangnam, do yourself a favor and skip the "pork belly". Was it worth the $96 I spent, no, would I go back, sure if someone else was buying.

Food was a 2/5 and super over priced. Water was served in some old reused food containers, not even meant for water

Looked inside for lunch and there weren't that many people inside....plenty of seating...and still had to wait 10 minutes for a server. There's a bar inside with descent amount of seating. I ordered the Catfish Basket w/Fries. They serve you Shrimp Toast after they seat you and it was ok. Catfish Basket w/Fries were ok. I heard the muscles, shrimp and crab were ok. If you're in the area swing by and check it out.

After ordering, our drinks were brought out, but the food still wasn't at the table at 6:45. We asked for crayons so the children could color, but they were not forthcoming. I got up after 20 minutes to get the crayons myself. I ran into the waitress and reminded her that we needed crayons. She went and got them. We talked about leaving and paying for our drinks. The waitress came and told us there was a "glitch in the system and our ticket didn't print." That was an explanation without meaning. Our food began to arrive in pieces. It took another 15 minutes for everyone at the table (4 adults and 2 children) to get their food. Someone in management came out and comped my daughter's appetizer. Upon paying the bill, there was an automatic 18% tip added to the bill. We are good tippers and would have left at least that much (not because the service was good and not because we loved the food.) It wasn't the money I objected to, it was taking my right to determine what we would leave as a TIP (to insure promptness). It really ate at me. I called the restaurant where a women answered and told me the manager was too busy to speak to me, but she would have him call me back if I told her my problem. She became snippy and rude as I explained my issue. Later, she called back and in the same short and irritated way told me that the manager wouldn't talk to me, but they would return the tip to my credit card. I told her that was not the goal I had in mind. I wanted to let the owner/manager know that I don't like the policy of adding a tip without consent. She told me the policy was printed on the menu (I guess I was looking for food and missed the legal ease.) I suggested that the policy should be on a sign as you enter the restaurant so that people don't feel violated when you assign them an amount to leave the staff. She said, "So, do you want the refund?" I said, "yes", which kind of surprised me, but her attitude sent me over the edge. I provided my credit card information and will NEVER return to this restaurant!

A Mixed Bag with Room for Improvement (2.5/5)…read more We visited Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar for lunch and left with mixed feelings. While a couple of items stood out for decent flavor, the overall experience, especially the service and value, didn't quite meet expectations for a mid-range bistro. What We Ordered: 1. Fried Calamari - Lightly crispy and seasoned well enough, but the portion was small for the ~$20 price tag. The artichokes and pickled onions on the side were a nice touch and helped round out the dish. 2. Avocado Toast - Served as four half-slices of toast with a thin spread of avocado--decent, but underwhelming. The scrambled eggs were passable but felt commercial. The arugula salad on the side was overdressed and heavy on cheese, likely gorgonzola. 3. Steak Salad - The steak cubes were overcooked and arrived cold, which was the biggest disappointment. Though the salad greens were fresh and plentiful, the dish was heavy on cashews, and the cheese flavor was intense. 4. Breakfast Burrito with Fries - I didn't try this personally, but our friend said it was not memorable. The fries looked average--crispy but nothing special. ‍ Service: Service was polite but lacked attentiveness. After being seated, we waited about 10-15 minutes to receive a drink order. Only two glasses were brought out for three people, and when our appetizer arrived, no utensils were provided. We had to request basics that should have been automatically offered. We did appreciate the server accommodating our request to change tables for better sun however. Ambience: The interior had a retro-upscale family restaurant vibe--maybe reminiscent of a 1990s aesthetic. Some might find the design nostalgic, though it felt a little dated to us. The lighting fixtures were interesting and varied in design, which added a little flair. Pricing falls into the $30-40 range per person with an appetizer, so expectations were naturally higher. Final Thoughts: Twigs Bistro has potential, but inconsistencies in food quality, small portions for the price, and inattentive service made the visit less than ideal. While we enjoyed some elements like the calamari and fresh greens, it's not a place we'd prioritize returning to--especially given the number of great dining options in the area.

We usually order the full meal and try different meats during our meal. I really enjoy the grilled pineapple that is served during the protein service. Some cuts of meat are superior to others and some have seasoning that I enjoy and others - not so much. But that is what is great about this restaurant, you can just say no to the meats that you don't want or cannot eat and get a double serving of what you do like. The beef rib (I believe it is a boneless short rib) is divine. The service is spectacular. The two servers who were working our table, Omar and Callie, were very friendly and informative. They both ensured that we had a nice experience for my birthday. I also heard occasional laughter from the kitchen which was nice. Happy people who are enjoying themselves makes for the best teamwork. We'll continue to go back when we want a treat.
