So, earlier this year I realized I needed to have my pool replastered. I got pricing from 7 different companies. Gammon Pools was not the least expensive, nor were they the most expensive bid. They were right in the middle. What made me choose them is the presentation and professionalism. They also came recommended by East Mountain Pool Supplies. They offered a written proposal and insurance documentation without being asked. I looked at the CSLB website and their license and workman's compensation were all in place. The office personnel were in place and were great in communication through email, phone and in person. As far as the job went, Eric took or returned all my calls. The communication was superb. Eric really knows his stuff and always had an answer to all my questions. The quality of work is amazing and I can't be happier with how it turned out. I definitely recommend Gammon Pools for your next pool project. I work with contractors a lot in a professional capacity on a daily basis at work, and I would say Gammon Pools is right up there with the best of them.

Think twice before you use this company to resurface your pool. They do not warranty or guarantee their work. We had our entire pool gutted 2 1/2 years ago and we already have rust spots which they will not fix. Feels like when you remodeled a pool, it should last more than just 2 1/2 years. We did not patch our pool, we drained it, took the entire surface off. And had it completely resurfaced, & tiled. When a company doesn't even warrantee their work short term, you know they must have a history of problems.

Great experience with Gammon Pools. We hired Gammon Pools to renovate our poor 20 year old Pool and Spa after our neighbor told us about their experience. Gammon Pool pricing is competitive, the team at Gammon Pools; from the crew on site to the pool start up team was friendly, professional and organized. They cleaned up and organized the construction area after each shift which we appreciate as we have nosey pets. Eric, was the project manager and it was a pleasure working with him. He kept us updated with the schedule, any changes and addressed our questions and concerns immediately or by the end of the day. We could not be more happier with the end result. I have to tell you, this experience was so much more professional and well managed compared to the original pool construction. Gammon Pools communicated well with me. They set out the schedule. They worked the schedule. They answered my questions before, during and after completion of the project. The people are kind and friendly. I can't say enough.

We had a great experience with Gammon Pools. Our pool had cracked, broken tile and coping plus we have been unhappy with the pebble coating since having the pool was installed. 25 years ago, we selected a brown pebble color and didn't realize brown plus blue water equals green...so even when the water was clean, it still looked green. Finally we have a blue pool! Eric worked closely with us to make sure we selected the best options for tile and pebble, plus he had an auto-fill installed. The entire crew were professional and very concerned about delivering a quality remodel. Caesar did an amazing job installing the new tile - it all looks great. Eric communicated clearly about the schedule so we always knew when and which crew would be here to work and they completed the work on schedule.

We hired Gammon Pools to resurface my 13-year old pool with PebbleTec. We hired them as my friend who had recently had his pool built by another pool company told me that the other pool company had brought in Gammon to do the PebbleTec surface. I figured they must be the experts then, and figured I'll go straight to them without any middlemen. We were on a schedule as we had a big party coming up, and didn't want to risk the project being under way during the party. Don promised that Gammon would get the project done in time, and they did. After draining the pool, they took two days to get the plaster off, then two days to fix the coping and the rust spots the pool had due to mistakes of the original builder. Then one day to do the PebbleTec, and one day to acid wash and finish off everything. So six working days and total ten calendar days (weekend + two off days) from beginning to end, and the pool was ready one week before my party. Another friend of mine had had a bad experience with another company, as that company had not washed off the excess plaster properly after applying PebbleTec. As result, his pool ended up streaky/blotchy to the point where the work had to be redone. I was concerned on how this stage would go for me. The day PebbleTec was applied, Gammon showed up with six guys, which is key as you need enough manpower to do this stage quickly before the plaster dries off too much. As I watched them, I saw they clearly knew what they were doing, and end-result was perfect. The Gammon crew always cleaned up before they left each day, which I appreciated. I can recommend Gammon without any hesitation.

Gammon pools was referred to me from a longtime friend who had his pool done back in 2008. Donnie and his team are amazing. I have a 30k gallon pool that was in dire need of resurfacing. Donnie came out and provided me a no nonsense quote for both plaster and pebble finishes. We received quotes from other companies but working directly with the owner was a huge plus. The crew showed up on time and completed the work as promised in the timeframe that was promised. I opted to go with the pebble and 2 bags of glass. It looks amazing. I highly recommend this company!

It's rare to find a company that surpasses your expectation. Gammon falls into that category. We recently completed a pool remodel with them, new coping, tile, pool surface and reconfiguration of our spa. From day one we were impressed with their team. Ashley was ALWAYS available to answer our many, many questions. Her efficient, professional yet friendly manner is truly impressive. Eric was our project rep, and guided us along the way, helping us decide on our finish materials and to understand the process. We appreciated his many years of experience in this field. This was our first time doing anything like this (the pool was here when we bought this house) so we relied on him heavily for advice. Cesar and Mario did an amazing job on the tile and travertine coping - Cesar is truly an artist. There were a few tricky areas, and he handled them beautifully. We disliked this pool for 26 years, and were extremely careful when choosing our new materials. Everyone was patient with us, offering any and every type of help they could. We were also kept up to date on everything that was planned, when workers would arrive, and what we could expect. Even with day...after day...after day of rain, our project was finished on time. Several people have seen our pool since it has been refinished, and are blown away by how great it looks. The pool is pretty much the first thing we see when we wake up in the morning - it is right outside our bedroom french doors - and we never get tired of looking at it! From the moment that Gammon Pools arrived, they were professional from start to finish. Obviously, we were hesitant to pull the trigger on such a big job. But, after interviewing several companies, including due diligence with their customers, we are ecstatic to have selected Gammon. The crew arrived on time each day, were considerate of our neighbors by not starting with construction noise before 8:00 am. But, what was most amazing was there were days that they worked at 7:00 am and we didn't even hear them. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gammon. We are excited about our improved pebble tech surface!

We hadn't resurfaced our pool since we had it built in 1997. We were leery on who to have the work done. We had a few bids but didn't feel comfortable with the contractors, felt like we couldn't trust them or the quality would be bad. It wasn't until after we were checking out yet another contractor using Yelp reviews that we came across someone who had not so good things to say about the one we were checking on. (As well as several other reviews). This particular review had caught our attention, the person raved about Gammon Pools. So we decided to check them out and we were so glad we did. Donnie Gammon (The owner) came out to our home in a couple of days, he was very friendly and you could tell he was very knowledgeable on everything we discussed. After checking out his references and every single Yelp revew and I mean talking with everyone of them, (20 ppl) we were convinced that Gammon was the way to go. Every single person we talked to just raved about Gammon Pools, we checked the BBB,CSLB & other sources to be 100% sure and everything checked out. Donnie was there for us every step of the way, he made us feel confident, gave suggestions, answered every phone call and took care of business 100%. We were told that it would take three weeks to have everything done but with Donnie's outstanding team of workers it was completed in two weeks. They showed up every day and worked very hard, even in the heat. They have awesome skills , are professional and friendly! Our pool is beautiful and we are very, very happy. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND GAMMON POOLS! You don't have to go any further, Gammon Pools is your best bet! THANK YOU SO MUCH DONNIE GAMMON!
