I have no idea why there are bad ratings for this place. Maybe they've improved. My husband and I went here for our 7th anniversary (we would rather DO something than any boring dinner) and we had a blast. The salad was excellent. The pizza is what is to be expected for a buffet. We didn't see what we wanted, so we ordered it and they made it pretty fast. We even watched Wreck-it-Ralph while we ate. The dessert was kind of bland, but that's not what we were there for. Then we went bowling. I don't know what to say other than it was a normal bowling alley and we had a lot of fun. After that we had unlimited game time on non-ticket games and played a bunch of them for about 1.5 - 2 hours. The only game that wasn't working was a pinball machine and I was not heartbroken. We looked at the other activities and they looked pretty fun, we just didn't have the time to do it that day. We went when there was barely anyone there so we got to play whatever we wanted when we wanted. The staff was very nice, even gave my husband a bowling tip and a free try on one of the prize games. We have a little one at home and we are already thinking about planning birthday parties here. (To address some of the previous reviews, plates were clean, food was good, staff was great, tables were clean, and I don't understand what the big deal is about having to buy a buffet.) The kids love iT'Z. This is where they most frequenty ask to go for special occasions (straight A report cards and the like). Recently we had a birthday party here and were pleasantly surprised right from the get go. After we booked online, we received a call back confirming the details we put in. Asking what color table cloth and balloons as well as what type of pizza and drinks. The package included a host who was actually very helpful. One of the managers came in and indicated they were giving a small credit to us, due to fewer folks showing up than expected. The host stored our birthday cakes in a fridge while the kids played, and folks working the game floor (especially attractions like laser tag) were quite cognizant in recognizing the VIP tag our two birthday children had. Taking the birthday package of the equation - on a day to day basis, you have to pay for a buffet just to get in the door (hungry or not). It's tempting to knock a star for this, but I seriously can't say enough about how well the party went. The other upside is that it's considerably less noisy and more spacious than that cheesy place with the mouse. The result is this dad never walks out feeling like he just took a beating. A patient of mine suggested this place as an equivalent to alley cats with bumper cars. Boy was she wrong! This place was awful! It was dirty, unwelcoming and chaotic. The staff all looked miserable, half the games were turned off, there was a half eaten birthday cake sitting on a game table for the whole 3 hours I was there. Wow. Can you say disgusting?! While playing laser tag, our host and game ref snapped at the younger children telling them "y'all need to move. Where's your parents anyway? I'm not watching you." Upon another customer saying he was rude he laughed at her and said "oh. I'm rude? I don't even care lady." He didn't watch the game AT ALL so several people were running and falling and breaking all the rules. There was an extremely nice gentleman named Joel who was willing to help us with our question and worked rock climbing! He was the friendliest worker there. When wanting to ride the bumper cars, we waited in line for 15 minutes and pressed the help button several times before having to go find an employee. Once we did, they fought over who was going to do their job and attend to the ride. The shift leader ended up going. He too, was rude and uninviting. I will not be returning here ever again. read more

Came with a group of friends and got the late night special of all night game play and activities. Got amazing service from Shar (bartender), Victoria (Manager) and Donnell (General Manager/fellow New Yorker). Shar made amazing drinks not one I didn't like which is tough because I'm really picky when it comes to my drinks. All of them were fun to talk to and definitely recommend this place when visiting. We loved it so much we planned on visiting the next day. But Shar was off and we tried talking her into coming the next night. The next night we came in and Shar showed up as she promised ON HER DAY OFF!!! We then met Tim (another manager) who was also top notch but not the best bowler lol. Victoria was all over taking care of the bar, bowling alley and very attentive to details taking care of multiple ppl anywhere she walked. Jerry was also very funny and apparently into Naruto. The drinks were on point. The prices were more than reasonable, the place was clean. We had a blast. Thanks guys so much and we hope to see you the next time we visit Texas. I have never written a review before but I absolutley had to because of the experience I had recently. I was at it'z on wednesday afternoon with my grandchildern (5&8) and I was blown away by the changes that have been made recently. I have been to it'z a handfull of times and had a decent time but definatly not anything to write a review about. When I came in on wednesday the pizza buffet was very full and fresh.The bussing staff was out and very present. We had the best time in the gameroom though. We went over to the bowling area to ask about it and that is where I encountered two teriffic employees, Jenn and Veyra. They were so friendly and it was geunine! Its so refreshing to actually see people that are friendly and enjoy their job. Jenn actually came from behind the counter and helped my granddaughter choose the right bowling ball and shoes! No one does that at Main event ( where we usually go). Her adding that little touch to our experience was the cherry on top for us. We will definatly be back more often. This was my son's first birthday (12yr old) since moving to the area 9 months ago. He waited literally 3 days before the day he wanted to have a party to ask for one. I can say that I was able to book the party online and get the time slot I wanted. Our party hostess (Jessica) was sweet and awesome with the kids. Since it was a last minute planning, I feel we got our money worth for a small party for 8 kids with 3 adults. Yes, it's a buffet, but compared to the Incredible Pizza we had back home, this one (a former Incredible Pizza) was more controlled with the buffet area. I was surprised to see that all the games actually worked. The only downside, as with any of these places, was the poor prize selections for the kids to redeem their tickets. If they don't have a ridiculous amount it's no need to get them anything. Overall, my son and his friends had fun and that's all that mattered to us with him having to adjust to a major move from TN. read more

Let me just say, that I never write reviews, but felt I had to acknowledge the AMAZING service we receive at IT'Z each and every time. For the last eight years, we have brought 300+ middle school students from Coppell to this location for our end of the year field trip. Each year, Jeff Carman and his staff are prepared, efficient, friendly and accommodating. We have yet to encounter any issues, which has been such a blessing, and above all else, our kids have a fantastic time! They leave each year wanting to come back and always rave about the food and games. Jeff even went as far as to accommodate our large vegetarian population by providing a meat free pizza section to help speed up the lunch process and allow for more choices across the board. The games are great and the food is delicious. This place is such a win/win if you're looking for family friendly entertainment that is sure to please EVERYONE! I worked with Jeff to plan our 6th grade end of year party... he was very pleasant to work with, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel like I was bugging him!!! The evening of our party arrived and there were a few mishaps in the beginning however Oscar came to the rescue. I had to contact Jeff as he was gone for the evening, he called me a couple times, even though he was off, to make sure we were taken care of and happy. Oscar found me amidst the chaos of 70 6th graders to find out how he could make it up to us. He went above and beyond to fix the mishaps and was very apologetic. No major mishaps, just a little lack of communication between shifts but in the end it was made right, and the kids had a blast which is what matters the most. We had an awesome party, and I have passed on Jeff's contact information for the next 6th grade class. I would definitely book another party at iT'Z!!! read more

So after my son's 3rd birthday party at this place I was mortified last year, then after several complaints and a few managers later... I was offered another party, I was so furious and didn't even want it. Well we deciced what the heck, might as well do it, it can't be any worse then last time. We went ahead and did his 4th birthday party there AND OMG! WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT!!!!!! Now that they have a new party manager, she has completely turned everything around to say the least and is just the most dedicated and awesome individual ever! She was so diligent and gracious, the party was perfect! Now that Latasha is managing the party sector, I would recommend to anyone! As long as she is there ITz is surely to excel in anyone's expectations! Definitely ask for her, she should be managing the entire establishment. I went into this establishment and loved it all. Manager Elisha immediately greeted us and and was eager to assist. Upon arriving at the buffet I was amazed. There was a General Manager, Angela, and another manager Jeff helping the littlest ones with plates and keeping things clean and organized.There were 400-500 school aged kids in line and eating.They were both friendly and kept positive. Later on in the game room I again spotted Angela personally speaking to gusts as the passed and made sure when I passed to ask me about my visit. There were like I have said before 400-500 school aged children in the building plus other people and the staff worked diligently to keep the place clean and working operational. At first I was skeptical seeing that when I was younger I distinctly remember a brand of sports apparel with the name ITZ. I didn't have a good experience with the sports apparel brand back in the 90's, but nevertheless I had an awesome time at ITZ. I was there with my family and my sons absolutely loved it. It is the perfect experience for a family setting, just wanting to get away from mundane experiences, get away from stress and just take some time to enjoy your blessings. The staff was professional, friendly and I must commend Donnell. I was unsure about the process of credits and he helped out everyone in the family. He even found some antibacterial wipes, (we had germaphobes from extended family) but,I am definitely going back. The experience was phenomenal. read more

We held our end of the year 8th grade class party for 325 students here and had a fantastic experience! Jeff was super helpful and provided great service. Timely responses to all of my question, delivery of wristbands ahead of time and opened early to accommodate our schedule! The new electronic ticketing was perfect for getting our group through the prize room efficiently and clearly posted signs for the unlimited games was also greatly appreciated. The buffet was continuously replenished so that all of the students were able to eat in a very short amount of time. I was very impressed and the kids loved it! The entire staff was friendly and helpful to all of our students needs. We will definitely return with our group next year! read more

Itz provided a fun, let your hair down atmosphere for our 125 marching band kids. Let me start off by saying Sheena, answered my inquiries right off the bat, weekend and after hours. She had our quote ready first thing Monday morning, a week before our event. Sheena was absolutely amazing, she went above and beyond to make an our high school kids be kids, from the setup with reserved signs which added a personal touch for our organization. Pizza was ready when we arrived with such a large group. The facility was very very clean. I can not compliment enough how pleased we were that we chose ITZ for our end of season shindig. We hosted our music festival for the 3rd year at IT'Z family fun last week. They accommodated 6000 kids and adults during the week. The facility was ALWAYS clean. The food was hot and fresh all week (7000+ pizzas, many different pasta dishes, salad bar, desserts and drink stations). The arcade games, attractions, and bowling were always ready to be played. Most important to me was the staff. They were always nice to my customers and very helpful to me!! Their corporate sales mgr, David Yarmer, was very helpful from the booking process to helping me during the week. I can not tell you how much my family and I love this place. It is priced so everyone can afford it. In times where money is tight for a lot of folks this place makes a family trip out fun and manageable. I have seen a change in the staff lately though. They all seem to enjoy their jobs lately and I found out why on my visit today, the new General Manager Angela. She was working her tail off and making sure that all was working well. No one these days sees a general manager working and I want to thank her for doing so. We hosted our annual Digital Room Holiday Party at iT'z this year and they did not disappoint. Jeff was super accommodating and made it easy for us to provide him a final headcount last minute. His staff was prepared for us to be there and set aside a special check in table just for our company. We were welcomed and all accommodations were granted. As the host of the event, it was amazing to have iT'z staff help us clean up when the event was over so we could go home after a fun (but exhausting) evening! I have to say they finally opened back up and my family had a blast since the out break and everything closing down it was so fun to be able to come back out with my family and friends. When we went it was so clean and fresh smelling you can tell they wanted to make sure that their customers were safe and protected, you could see employees wiping things down often. First off I love a place that puts me and my families safety first. This is why we keep coming back. And Donnell is another reason such a great guy, he makes everyone feel like we are vip. Had a blast..... The host made my nephew's day! He was not a happy camper because he had just woke up, That host turned on some music and got him right on together. It's a Saturday so you know it's busy most places would try to get you in and out on to the next for the next birthday party. This was the opposite, It only ended up being 4 kids including my nephew and the rest adults. The host went above and beyond to show him that he could still have fun either way. Jeff was super nice and patient as we tried to gather details but he truly was amazing in making sure we had an easy process to coordinate our event. The staff was exceptionally nice and friendly! They had ran out of the cinnamon apple dessert and the employee personally brought the fresh ones to us when they were ready as he felt bad we had to wait a few minutes for them to finish up.
