Drove over FAST, and got in the line, which wasn't horribly long. But I did have to wait 2+ hours for my ticket to return to get the console. Plus I got a few free Redbulls lol. I have to say it wasn't as bad as it was expected. The girl at the counter, was super sweet and very helpful. To preface this, I did NOT have a preorder. I was raw doggin' this on a whim to get a switch. I knew nothing of how to actually handle this whole thing, and I've never done this before. I'm glad I got in line early to make this as seamless as possible. Additionally, the workers inside were fighting for their lives with dealing with the number of people they had, let alone the demand for this release. Fast forward to 9pm. The doors opened, and the workers had us come in as groups based on the numbers they yell out. I was in n out within 15 minutes of opening and I was number 45 & 46. I was super impressed with how prepared and efficient they were. I give them 5 stars because of this being such an easy experience, and they were very professional with the launch. Good job, guys!

Even though we were stalled on booking our games (due to the Venue needed to help with the layout), Luiza was still openly optimistic about helping us and in the end we got all the games we wanted. We opted for Ring Toss, Giant Checkers and Clowning Around (Bean Bag Target type of game - see photo). Except for the Giant Checkers, the prices are fairly reasonable. Please note that someone else may think that the price was reasonable...it's all subjective. Here's What I Think.... They have a ton of games from which to choose. While we do serve the Washington, Oregon, and Nevada areas, please note that due to the extended travel distance, our minimum one-day rental for events in Washington is $18,500 plus delivery." According to that, the event started at 3 PM, with pick-up for pre-orders beginning at 9 PM Pacific Time, and the potential to purchase a console without a pre-order if you arrived early enough to line up before the 3 PM event. We got there before noon to be proactive and were immediately concerned that no one else was around -- no signage, no excitement, and no staff outside. When the store opened, the clerk flatly told us, "If you don't have a pre-order, come back at 9." I mentioned the email instructions clearly said otherwise, and he just shrugged and told me to call back at 3 to "see if they had any." We decided to call another GameStop about 15 minutes away, and they were shocked -- they confirmed what we read in the email and even mentioned that they know this particular clerk and that he's done this before. A look at past Yelp reviews confirms this location has a pattern of misinformation and poor handling of release events. And the fact that nobody else was there at the store lined up means he's been telling everybody this over the phone if people have called asking questions. At some point, management needs to step in -- either retrain or replace this employee. Events like this are supposed to be fun and exciting, not confusing and dismissive. Because of this experience, we will never shop at this location, even though it's around the corner from us. We'd rather drive the extra 15 minutes to the other store that actually understands customer service and follows company protocols. Avoid this location if you're expecting any kind of organized event or competent communication.

They talk, read, study, meet up, and exist together for a while. There's a different energy here that makes you want to slow down and be part of it. I love this place!!!!! There's more than just coffee and books here; there's a little community. There's a bulletin board filled with flyers for local happenings, book clubs, celebrations, etc. I came here one weekend to study and it, thankfully, wasn't too busy. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, there's WiFi, and a fair amount of seating. I can see this place getting packed during peak hours. One thing I noticed right away was a small book club meeting happening near where I was working. It helped me relax while I was focusing on my work! I think that's why so many of us like working in coffee shops... you can be alone while still feeling connected to other people around you. The coffee had an amazing taste to it and the scone was unbelievably like perfectly buttery and not overly run by sugar even though it had sugar on it it just was perfectly balanced. The thing that I really enjoyed about this bookstore though was that it made me feel safe. I am part of the lgbtq+ community and being there made my soul and heart happy. I was surrounded by my community and I could tell just how happy they were. There was a group of folks in the middle tables starting to get ready for a small event it look like an art drawing event. The way they talked with each other and just the smiles they had on their faces made me smile so big. This place is a true gem within the area and if you ever have a chance to come in here to just be in a space of warm and belonging please do. And like I said the food they provide is super tasty and they have an array of selections regarding books and they can even order stuff online for you if they don't have it for pick up later.
