Great little shop! They had all the ingredients I needed. Plus a few I like to just have on hand.

I've been numerous times, and every time there's always something new and improved about this place. What sets it apart is how inclusive and community-focused it is. It's not just a bookstore; it's also a cafe with baked goods, coffee, tea, beer, and wine, so you can easily settle in and make a whole visit out of it. It's also an amazing event space, with all kinds of groups meeting up throughout the week and month. The events they host are always great. They also recently added a sensory room stocked with items for nursing mothers as well as us neurodivergent folx, which shows how thoughtfully they consider the needs of their whole community. On top of all that, they give back in real ways, including running a food pantry. It's rare to find a business that combines great books, good food and drinks, community space, and genuine care for the people around them all in one place. If you're looking for a bookstore with heart and soul, this is it. SUPPORT INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORES! SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS! SHOP LOCAL!

Although it may seem like a smaller bookstore, their selection is very thoughtfully curated. If you don't see a book you like, they can order it for you and ship it to the store. Sometimes they also send out coupons in the mail, and they can apply it to your online purchase in store. I recently learned that they are an event venue as well, and have hosted 2 weddings here, which is incredibly cute. They do host other events like craft night, family friendly drag shows, etc. You can also study here as they have plenty of seating. They also do charitable things for the community, such as hosting an in-store food pantry for people to get non-perishable foods, if needed. Overall, it's a great shop with more than just books. They really try to build community here!

The store was on the smaller side, but actually bigger than I expected in looking from the outside. The had some unique books. They had a children's section in the back of the store, and it looks like they do story time events and other things. The store was also quite busy! There is parking on the street and as well as the street behind the store. Overall, a charming little shop!

As others have mentioned, the selection has some gaps, but I imagine you could easily order a book you want that isn't in stock. I enjoyed browsing the shelves and seeing employee recommendations. When I made it to the poetry selection, I was happy to see that it wasn't all mainstream or classic poets, and I ended up picking up a few new collections. There's an extensive children's and young adult section in the back, and the store also sells things like book-related jewelry, some cards, and a ton of cute stickers (I may have gone overboard on buying some of those). They also sell local zines, which I think is awesome. If you make a zine, you can contact them to see about selling them in the store. The front table has free bookmarks, handouts, community announcements, etc., and the person at the register let me put some of my zines on the table for people to take for free. All in all, a cute spot, and one I'd visit regularly if I lived in town.
