I think they could be friendlier -- or just better. (A tiny bit cheap, or weird.) Trying to buy a Magic Kit, for my daughter's B-day. And I had a game, I'd bought from them a while earlier... (Long story, short: recently Divorced, so bought a game, Dixit, we already had; but not sure if they liked it anymore. So still in original plastic, never opened.) I wasn't asking for cash; just an exchange or in-store credit. And: I have the receipt somewhere... I asked if they could look it up from my card. They said No. Or: "You should recognize the sticker," I say. "Oh, no," he said. "Walmart has the same stickers." - which isn't true. [& It's not the greatest Magic Kit, ever. A little last-minute shopping.] So: I was a little fr

I got a DeathWing Assault box from them recently. I was very happy that I managed to find one.

The staff where very friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend Games Galore.

Never ventured into a comic book store before in my life. Having a little boy will expose you to new adventures all the time. We stopped in for a comic book for a reward for our son, and wow. It's more that just comics. There are all sorts of toys and collectibles. Stuffed animals, squishy toys, hot wheels, little cars and trains. A whole wall of comic books. We were searching for something that would be appropriate to read with a young kid, and the staff was able to guide us in the right direction. It was clean and organized. So many little things in there to see. Definitely a place to keep in mind the next time I'm shopping for a birthday party.

Four stars for having a decent selection of board games, even carrying some of the more popular European fare. Knowledgeable and helpful staff who will help you find the game you're looking for. Lost a star for not having completely competitive pricing (excusable for a B&M store in a mall), and for always seeming to have CCG tourneys going on in the middle of the (already small) store, making it near impossible to browse. Besides, it seems like at least ONE person in every CCG group decides bathing is optional, and the place smells accordingly during CCG events. This is one of the few places in town to get games like Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Small World, Pandemic, Shadows over Camelot, Battlestar Galactica, and some expansions for the above, but don't expect them to have a huge selection of the less mainstream games. Give them a shot if you're looking for something in town, but don't be surprised if you can't even get to their shelves much if there's a tournament going.

Picking up some new additions to my miniatures collection!

Staff is rude, game selection is poor and overpriced, and their return policy is nonexistent.

To say I was blown away is an understatement. It's still got the quintessential CnC charm and humor, but amped up to 10 with lifesize displays, larger murals, more merch and those vibes we all love about this place! The bar area got a massive plus up in Sparks, with a full cocktail program, craft beers, and lots of delightful NA options too. The plush blue chairs look super inviting, and I can just imagine the fun times spent here hanging into the evening. Baristas are super friendly and the menu features all the faves from Reno, and then some! Here's the rub. It's hidden in a quiet corner of the best shopping center in all of Sparks. You've got CnC, Mountain Mike's, Smashin' Good Times, Paleteria del Angel, and Shang Hai restaurant all in the same spot, and you can have one helluva day just bouncing from one to the other. I sure hope my friends will find their way here to check it out for yourselves. They have awesome events and programs too, so scope the socials for the schedule and make a plan!

I came here to rock out and found myself enjoying a pulled pork sandwhich with a lavender soda which isn't very punk rock but the fuel definitely helped! Upon observation, I noticed old school arcade games, board games, comic books and many other things to make you enjoy your stay here. Definitely look forward to visiting on a regular business day.

The figure selection has been so so but nothing really worth being excited about. The prices for many items have also increased significantly. It's a bummer because we liked coming here. Now it's kinda a let down.

I immediately knew I didn't like the store and wasn't going to buy anything after that experience. Since my kid really wanted to check out stuff in there, I put the pretzels on the table for about. I was kind of worried that someone crazy could put something in the food so just grabbed the pretzels anyway and stuck it in my coat pocket while my kid looked at the stuffed toys. I just got a tax return and was going to spend some money in there. My kid wanted a toy but I hated that place so much that I decided not to buy anything there and chose to shop for the toy on Amazon instead. There's a bad vibe right as you walk through the front door. This place will probably go out of business.

At first we thought it was closed because all of the lights were off. But the main door was unlocked and we entered. There was 3 people sitting at the table in the middle of the store - they stared us down but didn't say a word. We wondered the entire store which was primarily books, movies/dvds/VHS & furniture, with a few odds and ends. I think my definition of "gift store" is different than theirs because I didn't see much that I would categorize in that department. The odor in this store was the usual thrift store aroma, with a splash of...something very unpleasant. We saw what looked like a music venue in the back with a few guys talking really loudly from that area. After wondering the store, we started to work our way to the front when one of the gentleman practically ran to follow us out. When we looked back at him, he pulled out his key and dangled it indicating he was locking the door behind us, still not saying a single word to us. Out of probably 5 people in that store, not a single one said anything to us. If they were closed, they should have locked the door behind them - it was Saturday late morning.... I would label this more as a used book/music/movie store. I definitely won't waste my time here again. Such a weird experience!
