When we arrived, we were greeted promptly by several employees. They asked us to head to one of the counters in the back and they would assist us shortly. They were so enthusiastic about the Gameboy games my fiancé had. It was nice to see them get excited about games that were popular in the 90's and 2000's. We overheard them saying that they typically match whatever GameStop is currently offering in store credit. To our surprise, they gave my fiancé more than GameStop would have if we would've gone there. This is why it matters to support small businesses. They are growing (still growing) company that cares about the community. I have met the owner and seen his vision. He is there from time to time and interacts with his patrons. Everyone had their own little groups and pods so as someone who is alone I feel out of place and had to sit at the cafe.
