They are growing (still growing) company that cares about the community. I have met the owner and seen his vision. He is there from time to time and interacts with his patrons. The staff is really friendly. Now the only downside is the current location. I was there and didn't have a spot to play on a Friday night but that isn't the stores fault. Everyone had their own little groups and pods so as someone who is alone I feel out of place and had to sit at the cafe. The bright side is they are moving to a bigger location if I heard that right so I am excited for the team and company. To sum up the location it's a place you can play video games. You can rent a room/theatre lounge for private events/gathering. You can rent a computer/consoles to play. You can join a community to play card games, they even have board games to use. A really convenient mini grocery store with all kinds of Asian snacks and ice cream. They even sell boba tea.

When I addressed my concerns to the business they simply stated that they do not guarantee shipping & responded very unprofessionally. They clearly are in the business of ripping off consumers & DO NOT care about customer retention. As a former business owner, DO NOT OVERCHARGE your customers for shipping, be ethical & give the customer exactly what they paid for! You just lost me as a customer.

I visited here in late summer 2021 and found positive changes, including more focus on comics. When I was traveling back through the area again, I didn't hesitate to stop in with a friend and see how it was going. That was a mistake. Uncanny had to move again to another location in the mall over by Nordstrom. Shop's exterior and interior looks nice, not sure they did the work or the previous tenant did. Space is divided into three rooms. The main area has graphic novels, another houses new pull comics, and a final room is full of longboxes. Except...there's a barricade to the longbox room. My friend was confused and asked about it as we primarily came here for the longboxes. Even after being located here for a month, they don't have them ready. This is unacceptable and I felt bad for the employee, who probably had to tell this to more than one customer. For being in a prestigious location, the King of Prussia Mall, this shop lacks a lot of what it should and most of that is direction. I recommend Showcase Comics and Games in Bryn Mawr and Brave New Worlds in Willow Grove for shops that are well stocked, stable, and reliable.

The King of Prussia Mall is a massive shopping center, but lacked many of the nerdier stores such as Hot Topic, Box Lunch, and Spencers establishments where I can buy cool shirts, figures, and other geeky merch. Uncanny! fills that niche beautifully while also delivering on the experiences I expect from my local comic shop. Uncanny! isn't the largest store, but it makes up for it with excellent space usage. Products are organized neatly into sections from clothes to comics to games. The comic sections are further divided into recent comics, graphic novels, kid comics, and back issues (old/out of print comics). The store is well kept and clean, and the colorful decor makes it feel alive, even when there is no one else shopping. If you are a die-hard collector, you might be disappointed due to the limited availability of items. As mentioned, space is limited, so you might not find some of your old collector issues or rare figurines. But you will find most everything new. If you are looking for something, call ahead. The people here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair, except for the odd retail-exclusive comics that are a bit higher priced than what I've seen in other comic stores. They also offer a loyalty program. Spend X-money, get Y-gift cards. It's pretty simple, free to sign up, and has no expiration. So it's worth your time if you come to the mall every month or so. If you're looking for a gift for that nerdy someone, or just want to pick up the latest DC or Marvel comic, Uncanny! is a fun little stop in your mall shopping experience.

I'm going to leave a few facts for your consideration. I have spent over $2000 in this establishment in little less than two years. I have never returned anything. I have never had issues with /anything/ and I have absolutely NO problems admitting that I'm positively sure I'll spend hundreds more soon because this place is absolutely amazing. I've come to truly appreciate this store as my number once place because even though the business booms, they have the best and when I say this I can't stress it enough; THE BEST customer service with a friendly store runner and an owner who's really good at bringing the gold to the store front. If you want to get your kids stuff, they have games at $5 a piece some of them even brand new and it's easy for you to ask for something for your kid that's age appropriate and interactive. If you're feeling nostalgic they have absolutely affordable retro game bundles with systems remotes and games to boot. If you're a collector? You'll love everything about this place (except running into me because that means I got all the good stuff) read more

Spoke with owner about a price on a system, then drove hours to pick it up. Arrived and they added 50 dollars. The gentlemen asked if I'd wait at minutes for the owner to come to talk to him I said no problem. I actually leave the store for 15 come back he arrives. Immediately as I try to take to him say hello he says yea that's cool get out or in calling g the police. I said ok but that's a little irrational, he said you're bullying my employees I asked the one if I did at all he said no I even left to store to wait to speak with him. I the asked for the names of those involved Nd where to make a complaint they freaked out. I later called as I was filing a report on better business bureau website and he hung up on me and so go ahead I'm not afraid of the law I know business. Most despicable way I've ever been treated. If maybe he spoke to me like a human we could have found a mutual agreement instead he acting thuggish and threatening me over and over. Unbelievable ,good games terrible people. read more

Despite them being so far from me, I've been going here for well over a year and love the service I've received. Every purchase has gone smooth and all of my items are tested and resurfaced/cleaned before they're even rung up and that's quality! Their selections include a long $5 wall where they have a bevy of great games for selection ( Tekken Tag for the PS2? Hell yeah) and oftentimes are on sale where you get a free game if you buy any $4. The head salesman Mark is an extremely helpful and friendly guy and has made all the difference in my experiences as he's put me on to a good selection of games and is extremely giving with trade values! The only issue I ever had with anything here was a third party converter cable which they can't test or guarantee, but they still took care of me and gave me a replacement no hassle. Our return policy on any retro gaming consoles are as follow::::::: If console does not work properly we will gladly exchange it for the same value. This customer "Brandon " used this system for over 3 weeks, brought back to us & wanted a full refund. ( we would be out of business if we sold anything, let customers play it, & bring it back anytime they want for a full refund. ( not sure what other stores Brandon buys retro games from but I have no idea who would offer a full refund for a system that has been used by the customer. Went in today to check out their 3ds game selection and was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety that they had. The owner was super kind and helpful, the complete opposite of what the bad reviews say. He greeted me, and wasn't breathing down necks of customers like other store owners can tend to do which I appreciate. I traded in a few games for store credit and bought the 3ds games I was interested in. I thought the trade in value was fair and definitely reasonable and much better than the belly button lint and paperclip value you get at GameStop. The games I bought were also quite reasonably priced and in good quality. it was 100% worth stopping by and I'd like to come back in the future! read more

I've been to this place at least 15 times, and every time I leave with something I wanted or something I didn't know I did! I love the customer service here. They're friendly, polite, and extremely helpful and responsible with their wares. Their $5 walls are goldmines for casual players and collectors alike, and you'd be shocked to see what kinds of amazing games they have! Rare things you only hear about find their way here and their trade in values are beyond the best. Absolutely the best experience you can hope for in any retail environment, and as a collector I gotta say this is the place to stop first! read more

The person Brandon who left a review saying he bought a Sega system is clearly wrong, probably was put up to saying something negative by another store. Game Exchange puts a security seal on every console, so if there is a problem with console, it can be returned for another console. This has been the policy for 10 years.! read more

They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound. The trains were not moving while we were there and they were kind of busy in the lead up to Christmas so we didn't ask to have them running, but I'm sure they would have turned them on if we had asked.

The card shop isn't particularly large, but has a front area with games and figures, a few glass counters with singles in the middle, then about 6 open tables in the back area for group TCG games. The single cards that were available were most of the popular commander stables people might be looking for, but from my understanding, they also have an online TCG Player inventory that you can browse through. Their commander open-play nights are also convenient - Mondays and Saturdays. This is a great alternative to the other major store about 30 mins away, Alternate Universes, which has their commander open play on Tuesdays and Fridays. He is even helping us locate a few that he did not have. As he does have a few connections. You can find him also operating a booth at local card shows. The pricing at Corliss cards is extremely fair and reasonable. Everyone deserves to have that special card at just the right place. Ha! I feel that way about antiques. His space is shared with a record store and Jake's Baristas. When I was there Jake's was getting a little facelift, but should be back up and running by early to mid November. I've heard so many great things about Jake's. Jake's baristas is a 501c non profit. Their mission is inclusion revolution. You really have to look them up on social media. They do a lot of great work. They are all about giving back to the community. A majority of the baristas have special needs. This is a fantastic mission! The support Nick gives to the Special Needs community also holds a special spot in my heart as I work with special needs kiddos. The employees are cool too. My favorite employee who later became one of the managers was super helpful, funny and fun to talk to but unfortunately she isn't there anymore. The employees that are working here now are also great. However, there are a few critiques. If you are looking to trade in old movies and CDs, don't expect too much in return unless you have a ridiculous amount or are looking to transfer to store credit. For cash it's good if your looking for a quick buck. The new items can be very pricey, and unless they go on sale it might be worth it to look elsewhere. They also may keep asking to join the FYE membership, and I've had bad experiences in the past. They say you can cancel online but you have to end up calling customer service and get it cancelled where they can be very pushy about keeping your membership. If they keep asking for a email it may be best to say that your not interested. All that aside, FYEs a great store if your looking for anything used, but aside from that there are other alternatives.

The staff had nothing but patience as I had a large extensive list of things I wanted. The owner even came to unlock the basement as he had more items in the basement that I wanted. They were very helpful, had several of the items I wanted and most of all I felt like their prices were fair. The owner also gave a nice discount. My mom went to several other retro video game stores in the area and none of them compared to this. The other stores were either severely overpriced and unwilling to negotiate, the employees weren't friendly or they didn't have a good selection. This place was perfect and I would definitely come again when I'm in town.
