They are wonderful when they can be but when I come to a problem, they're not so that's my recommendation. Try Apple first before anything.

Today I stopped by the Apple Store to pick up my new Mac Pro. I had a great experience. Bob, EJ, Ky, Charles, and Johnny were extremly helpful in guiding me through my choices and transferring over my data from my old computer to my new computer. I should add that although Sofia wasn't there, she was the one who started my journey. One last thing: one of the people who helped me (I think it was EJ) had the presence of mind to check a country in Europe that he heard I was moving to in order to see if they had a Genius Bar. They didn't. I decided not to get the Apple Care on the new pgone because of that. Thank you,. EJ! That saved me some money. read more

I used to think this was a tad better than other Apple stores, which isn't saying a whole lot. At least at this store, you can sometimes get in and out quickly, and parking isn't too bad. I've also had helpful sales and support representatives in the past. Our experience a couple of weeks ago really changed all that. My girlfriend made an appointment for a battery replacement on her phone. We show up at rightand of course, have to wait for the oh so important "genius" to plug a phone in to something to tell us what we already know: the battery's useful life is over. Gee, you really educated us there Mr. Genius. Then, we're told they don't have the battery in stock, BUT we could drive to Cherry Hill Mall (a really tranquil place at Xmas time) or Center City Philly (no traffic going there in the late afternoon, and parking is a breeze!) if we wanted it today. Um, then why did you take an appointment for a 6s battery replacement today? That would be like making an appointment for an oil change to be told they're all out of oil! Never fear, said John. He will email a confirmation of our visit today, and then will notify us when the battery is there and ready to be Installed. The email would arrive right away, and we were good to go. No apologies for the misleading information or the waste of our time, but oh well. Well...hours and hours later, no email arrived. So my girlfriend called, FOUR times. She got hung up on twice. The third call, the line provided was "well the store is really busy so sometimes they don't answer." Call #4, a call center representative finally routed us to Emily at the actual Marlton store. Emily said "the only way to get the store directly is from the call center." She also offered absolutely no apologies or explanations, no offer to make things right, absolutely nothing. Hey they're Apple, I guess they don't have to? She did say she'd send an email, (the one that was supposed to arrive hours ago) to confirm the battery replacement. To her credit, that did eventually arrive. In short (TL;DR): if you're a current Apple customer who wants to get anything done here support-wise, prepare to waste an unnecessary schlep to the store and multiple follow-up phone calls (with a few hang ups thrown in) for the privilege of...still waiting/being left hanging to get your issue resolved. read more

I came in for a new iPhone and everyone was EXTREMELY helpful. The second I walked in, a sales associate was ready to help me. She went over all of my phone options without pressuring me into any specific model. Everything was explained and very detailed. I was at the store for about 30 minutes and my phone was ready to go by the time I left (all apps and messages transferred over as well). Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've had at the Apple store. read more

I made an appointment for December 1st at 4:50pm to have my son's cracked back glass repaired. We checked in at 4:50pm and waited for a half hour for someone to help us. It was at that time that I was told technicians wouldn't have time to fix it because they close at 6pm. I was told they would put the part on hold for me for 6 days and I could come back without making an appointment. I asked if I could make an appointment because it would be easier to have a time it would be worked on and I was told no, that the repair would be a first come, first serve basis and that "the earlier, the better" when I asked about what times they are the busiest. So basically, I drove two hours, wasted over a half hour waiting, to be denied help, then to be told I can come back and hope they aren't busy and I'm not waiting around for more than an hour to have it fixed. I work over 65 hours a week and I live an hour away from the store so it is not convenient at all to even get there, then deal with this nonsense. I tried my local Best Buy and they don't have the parts to fix the phone either, even though they are an authorized Apple dealer. Ridiculous. read more

Ehh.... Store isn't bad. Spent over 2k in stores and the screen protectors were put on with dirt on them or dust. I brought Jen back less then 24 hours after purchase and at first we were told we'd have to go through the warranty. (Mail it back and pay a fee) I was like no and told them I'll just return everything. I spent almost 3k and I don't need to pay to fix an employees mistake. The guy told the manager and then they do graciously replaced them. I purchased and iMac and was told and they advertise you get the 3 percent upfront if you finance on their card. That's a lie! You get it as you make each payment. That was disappointing. So it's hit or miss with who you get and if they actually know what they are talking about. I think it's because they can't keep staff. It's always new people whenever I go there. I plan on making another purchase for a laptop. I'll roll the dices. read more

I had problems reaching the store so I stopped there while leaving Trader Joe. I made a reservation, arrived on time and was immediately greeted by Ursula. I noticed the battery in my iPhone 7 was discharging at a rapid rate and was convinced I would need a new battery. Ursula quickly diagnosed a potential issue involving one of my recently added apps that was using a disproportionate amount of battery power. She suggested I minimize usage of that an another app rather than purchase a new battery. Her advice worked. Think about this. For a hundred bucks you get a nice day at Disneyworld. For $500, $1000, $2000, you get years of happiness with an Apple. I'm kinda shocked at some of the low rankings listed for this store. Went in for new battery on my 7 but walked out with a new 8. Hey. I got constraints here! Money is a little tight and I had to make it look like I didn't upgrade to the family. My case fit over the new unit nicely. No one is the wiser. Anyway, the place was packed but I had an appointment and everything moved like a Disneyworld ride. Very friendly, very professional, very knowledgeable staff in a very organized regime. This Apple Store location is pretty awesome. Fairly quick and super friendly staff. However, Apple freaking sucks!!! My iPhone7 stopped working shortly after the iOS update. Turns out it's a faulty phone that Apple "recognizes" and will "repair" if there is no damage to the screen or phone. Which is total BS. I wouldn't need the repair if you didn't sell me a crappy phone. Apple will really find any way to make money off of THEIR error!!! Very unhappy customer!!! read more

I think I was in and out of here in...ten minutes? Nine? Seven? In all my years of owning Apple products, I've never experienced such efficient and personal service like I did on Sunday at this location. My tech-savvy friend had volunteered to help me find a new laptop and questioned me on my preferences ahead of our visit. When the saleswoman showed me the model and my storage options, I made a decision within seconds. Minutes later, the shiny new computer was in my possession. Heck, she even offered to help me set it up! I thought that was so nice. Staff here seemed overall friendly and competent. The store itself was well-stocked and easy to navigate. Usually I visit the ever-bustling Cherry Hill, but if I ever need repairs on my new laptop, I'll definitely consider driving a little farther to visit this store instead. read more

Are they busy a lot? Yes. But I've always been able to have any issue or problem resolved. And employees are good about acknowledging that they see you waiting. You have to make an appointment for everything. Impossible to call the store directly. There are 3 intimidating looking security guards/bouncers out front. No option for curbside pickup. They take your temperature even if you are waiting outside in the cold and rain. When you finally get to work with an Apple salesperson they are knowledgeable and friendly though. This is going to be my go to apple store. I've previously gone to the Cherry Hill Mall Apple Store, and will never go again. The Sagemore Apple Store was wonderful in comparison. The store was not packed with a bunch of teenagers trying out products they have no intention of buy- which is the typical scene at the Cherry Hill Apple Store . This made it much easier for me to engage with a sales person right away. I purchased and apple TV within 10 minutes ($99 + Tax). The apple sales person was able to give me the product, charge my card, and send my receipt all from a small ipod. read more

My husband needed a new phone and it was time for an upgrade so in we went. I expected a Friday evening to be a nightmare but it wasn't! We were in an out in 35 mins. Phone upgraded and everything transferred from the old phone to the new one. The staff was friendly knowledgeable and helpful. We were stoked it did not take long at all. Sorry to say I did not have a good experience at the Apple Store in Marlton. I called and asked a representative if it was necessary to make an appointment for someone interested in looking at watches to purchase. I was told no and then asked several questions that took a good 5-10 minutes of my time. I told the associate I was on my way and when I got there was told that yes, indeed I do need an appointment and that telling people over the phone is their process to bring them to the store so an appointment can be done in person. This is a challenging time for all, please review your process so as to not make this any more challenging than it already is. read more

Well, since I sat on my phone it was time to get the bent one replaced and this store was the closest with an appointment. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted and asked to wait a few minutes for another staff member to help me. Chris quickly appeared and within minutes diagnosed my phone issues (more than just being bent) and gave me the bad news that it was time for a new phone but that they could set me Up with a great price. 300$ later I've got a brand new 6s with 128g and I'm off uploading my cloud to the new phone. It really couldn't have been easier. While here I got to watch plenty of staff helping out folks and the genius class teaching people how to use their various Apple products and by my estimation, everyone was doing a great job of helping their customers. I know apple stores can get really busy, but everyone that I saw was super helpful and Chris really was a great tech support guy for me. I highly recommend this Apple store. read more

Made an appointment for 1 o'clock. Arrived, checked in and they had us sit down to wait. A hour and a half later we're still sitting there waiting. When we asked an employee what was taking so long he said they were backed up but we watched multiple people come in after us and leave minutes later. WORST STORE EVER. This store wiped my ENTIRE PHONE OUT for a SIMPLE PROBLEM. Untrained kids work here and everything in my phone has been wiped out when all I had to do was simply update my phone which i found out a day after they wiped everything out by getting support on the phone. I think if you're going here, you know what to expect. On a more time-sensitive note, they had plenty of Lightning/old style power adapters/cables for iPhone 5 users. Went to get a new laptop. It has been YEARS since I've had a Mac laptop and I used other systems in the meantime, but missed the Mac systems terribly. Not to mention, I needed something more compatible with my iPhone. We went to the Sagemore store and the employees there were AWESOME. We were greeted with a smile and a handshake before directed over to Kate. She was so knowledgeable and listened to my concerns because I was between two different laptops. I am a big gamer, I use a ton of space for my photos, and needed something portable and easy at the same time. She hooked us up! She also checked to see if we got discounts from our workplaces! Normally these big purchases can be so stressful but I can't think of a single second I wasn't smiling throughout the process. Thanks Kate! And thanks Apple Store at Sagemore! And tech tried to lie to me And say that my files and personal bills that they download it to their store computers were deleted when he pressed clear when in fact they had to go into the downloads folder to delete them. I broke my iphone screen the day before I went to trade my phone in for the new 7. Was pissed. Made an appointment online to come in and have it repaired. Was really irritated because they let me make an appointment for a repair they could not do. They had to order the new screen because they didn't have any in stock. So I really made the trip for nothing. 4 days later I went in for the repair and they told me it would be an hour. So I left to do some shopping and get groceries. I came back and they told me they were having problems with the calibration machine. They said it would be another 20 minutes. I waited patiently and a million apple genius people kept coming up to me asking me if I was needing help and I kept having to beat them off with a stick it was so weird. But after 2 hours of waiting they finally gave me my phone back. read more

With Covid and tensed Holiday Crowds I found my experience with Apple Sagemore to be professional ,helpful ,and Pleasantly good. My IMAC was brought in dead 3 days before Christmas and she was back home all in good spirits on Christmas Eve . How can you ever beat that .Excellent job. read more

Had an appt to fix my watch. So I get to the Genius Bar on time (noon) and I sit there. About 20 people walk right by me and have their heads in their iPads - no one even acknowledges my presence. Finally, a guy came out to help me (John) and he was great so 4 stars. To everyone else at the Genius Bar, acknowledge your customers even if it is just to tell them that someone will be right with you. You were all just talking about your weekends...you weren't busy. I wish I could give this place zero stars. It's horrible, it really is horrible. The entire staff is completely unattentive, it takes forever for them to stop playing around with their employees and help someone. Today was my final straw. An employee sweatpants came walking up to me for my appointment- my 2 month old iPhone's speaker is not working- took my phone, and told me it would take 20 minutes to a half an hour. After an hour I was getting a little restless, and I had to go back to work. It took me 15 minutes just to get someones attention (they are really good at avoiding eye contact, I'll give that to them) then the girl disappeared for 20 minutes, came back and ignored me entirely. Finally, someone brought out my phone. And it still doesn't work. You have an hour and a half to fix a speaker and it still doesn't work? I took the phone to Cherry Hill and it was a whole new experience. The person I worked with actually listened to me, and when I told her the speaker didn't work she tested it out with me, and explained what the problems might be. It's like she understood that I might want some insight into my very expensive phone. The problem was solved in 10 minutes! This is the second time I've taken my product to that store only for them to either do further damage or do nothing at all. The first time was with my Mac Book Pro, which had a slight glitch. When I got it back the problem was still there, and the screen was now flickering in and out for no reason. I took it into Cherry Hill and they told me that whoever had looked at my computer had clipped a wire and messed up the connection. They were shocked when I told them it was an Apple employee. Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. Both my brothers worked for Apple. My mom worked for Apple. My mom refuses to go to the Sagemore store. We are an Apple family and this store is really a black mark on the company. Don't waste your time here. Cherry Hill is so much better and so close. read more

I would probably drive past this Apple location and opt for Cherry Hill or even Christiana. My Mac crashed and I took it in (note to self: make appointment in advance because no one can help you when you walk in, even if you walk in moments after opening). I could not get an appointment for like 8 hours or something, so I went home and returned later. The service was GREAT, except they didn't really fix anything. They "fixed" my Mac and I was on my way. Worked great, life was spectacular ... then my Mac crashed again about 48 hours after it was "fixed." So I made an appointment and went to Cherry Hill ... and guess what happened there? No notes in my appointment card thingy so they had no idea what the other store did. Frustrating to say the least. Cherry Hill fixed my Mac -- like really fixed it by replacing the hard drive). When Macs are as expensive as they are ... I expect expert knowledge from anyone who works for them regardless of location. read more

This is one of the smaller Apple stores, located in a outdoor mall with many other upscale retailers. The employees in this store are very helpful and attentive. Although it's not the largest or nicest of Apple's retail stores, it's a great place to go and talk to an Apple employee about a product, or get tech support from an Apple Genius. Because the store is one of their smaller locations, the software selection is relatively small. It should also be noted that the store is located in a very busy location, on a very busy highway, so getting into the outdoor mall, especially when coming via Route 73 South, is sometimes a frustrating, time-consuming adventure. I recommend, when traveling to the store via 73 South, taking the second jughandle on the right (to Marlton Parkway) and coming across the intersection through the 4-way traffic light. Make your first left at the next light (Sagemore Drive), and then make the first left into the outdoor mall, entering through the rear. Parking is usually difficult, especially on weekends, so I sometimes park behind one of the stores and walk a short distance to the Apple store. read more

The customer service is insane here. The line to get in was out the door, but they were extremely organized and handled the crowd very well. We were able to get exactly what we needed, and the salesperson pulled no punches in the comparison between the iPad 2 and 3, noting the similarities and differences without swaying us in one direction or another. Not one person in the store seemed perturbed or aggravated with the crowd, as they only let a certain number of people in at a time, and as soon as you entered the building, you were put on the list for service. We waited maybe 5 minutes outside and ten minutes inside. It totally eliminates the "I was here first" crap that you encounter at every other electronics store. Checkout was a breeze, since each salesperson checks you out instead of making people wait in another line to pay. Swift, professional, knowledgeable, and just a downright great place to shop. We were able to stay in the store until all of the information from my friends' iPhone was transferred to his iPad via their wifi connection, which was just so convenient. read more

this #AppleStoreAreCrooks! I went in for my appointment to get my daughters cracked screen on her iPhone 6 replaced. The phone was working perfect otherwise. They quoted $109 to replace the screen and would be ready in 30 minutes. More than 45 minutes later they tell me that the screen replacement didn't fix the problem that I needed a refurb replacement phone for $300. I told them it WAS working perfectly and the screen IS the only problem! If the cracked screen was the only problem, how could replacing the screen NOT fix the problem? (She must have thought we were stupid) She tried arguing that I must not understand, and tried to say the phone didn't pass the diagnostic 'test". I said I apparently understand more than you thought I would. I repeatedly said I'm NOT paying for a new phone and she said, "well, let us try one of the other screens, maybe that was defective". Ironically 25 minutes later she came back and said, "oh this one took".... When she came back the second time, her "nametag" had disappeared. Not how it works, I would just consider this to be lost business. Please don't send me a calendar invite for 7:00 when there are 6 other appointments during that time.
