Another great experience on 3/15/26 at this Verizon company store in Mt Laurel, NJ. I was helped this time by Shy. He is very knowledgeable and kind, especially in the way he explains things. I was having a hard time grasping the issue with my phone line, but he patiently explained it in different ways until I understood. Sky also helped me understand the protection plan and how it's actually layered so you can save money by buying only the parts you want. I didn't even know this was an option. I've asked Customer Support about the high cost of the protection plan many times but no one ever told me about the tiered options. I'll be saving a lot of money. Thanks, Shy and Verizon. read more

Went in with a issue setting up a smart watch. Alex was incredibly helpful and patient in trying to resolve the issue. When he exhausted his abilities in the store, he brought on the tech support team, who were also unable to fix the issue. I went to another Verizon corporate store to transfer my 3 lines and two watches from At&T. For one reason they were not aware that my 89yo mother's iPhone 7 could not be activated on the Verizon network. For 5 days and several frustrating calls to the customer service number with no success, I went into this store and was blessed to be helped by Kyree, the store manager. He was patient, knowledgeable and understanding. He stayed 45 mins after the store closed and his employees left to make sure my mom's phone was activated. I'm not even sure why brick and mortar stores even exist as the sales people cannot even help. Their answer to everything is "call 611" which is the customer service number, which is directed to someone outside of the country. In addition to that, they're just very rude in general. And why can NO ONE simply explain what we need to do to sort out our issue??? I've been to 4 different Verizon stores now and it finally took the fourth store to tell me what I needed to do. Waited over an hour... and then left. Two employees, about 14 guests. There was no clear sign-in like they used to have. We eventually signed-in because we saw a woman who had come in after us, interrupt the employee who was working with someone. So we signed in, waited, waited, waited...then someone who had made an appointment online, jumped us!? The two employees were working hard, the problem was they kept getting interrupted by either people jumping line to ask questions or having to sign other people in. When you go into the store they will give you an attitude and make you check in with a QR code...and then you will wait and wait even for something as simple as returning an old iPhone. The salesperson will proceed to treat you like they are doing you a favor for the priviledge of being a paying customer of Verizon for 20+ years. Okay, where do I begin? This is a Wireless only store, yet there is NO mention of this in their website and of course, you cannot call the store directly to ask them. I had FiOS equipment to return for my father, who I moved into Assisted Living last week. Where he lives now has no FiOS available (it's Comcast), so I cannot transfer service. I walk into an empty store (except for the lone saleswoman) and when she sees my box of equipment, hands me a piece of paper from a pile (like this has happened before--all the time). The paper says that you must return Verizon equipment at another store on Rt. 73, down in Voorhees, at the Cooper Plaza, where the Kohl's and Raymond & Flanagan's furniture store is located. That store was well-staffed, but driving around NJ took longer than the transaction time for them to scan the equipment back into inventory, and print a receipt. Oh, and folks, they want you to trash the remote control, because COVID. I guess it's okay for me to cough and breathe all over the modem and cable box though? Oh well, now, I have to prove that my father's new address doesn't have FiOS, or else I have to pay a $95 Early Termination Fee. Finally, he's getting Comcast at some point, which I've had for over a decade in my home, and have had NO issues. Price isn't a selling point anymore, as his cost for FiOS triple play is almost as high as Comcast's Triple Play. At least the Xfinity stores are a one-stop shop, unlike Verizon. read more

I had a wonderful experience both times I came to this Verizon location. The first time I brought my broken phone in and wound up trading it in for a new one. Julian was my representative, he was patient, informative, and very helpful. I went back a couple days later and a very welcoming woman and gentleman helped with my phone screen replacement. I wish I knew their names to give them credit. The store is very big, clean and organized, and all of the staff is very friendly. I always used to go directly to Apple for phone repair/issues, but I will not go there again and will always go to this Verizon store. Thank you to the team for your kind service and help! read more

Horrible. After spending more than 4 hours on the phone with a tech support person not being able to get the problem resolved, she scheduled me an appointment at this location to get some additional in preson help that she thought would resolve my issue, which was just to transfer my text messages from my old phone to my new phone. Simple, right? Nope! So I go in and tried to get explain my situation and was told that I had to pay a $30 fee to get help ( just to transfer text messages NOT ALL OF MY DATA WHICH I SWITCHED OVER MYSELF, JUST THE TEXT MESSAGES! I tried to explain ALL THAT to the tech person at the store, but he insisted that I had to pay the $30 even after spending 4 hours of my time on the phone with a tech person who could not transfer my text messages. I even asked if I could see the manager and was told that the manager was not going to do anything so it wouldn't help to even speak to that person. Yep, I was even denied to speak to the manager. So I paid the $30 fee thinking this tech person was going to do something different or at least try alternative ways to do the transfer. Nope, this tech person (in store) did the same exact thing that that the person on the phone tried to do and was unsuccessful. So I walked out paying $30 and not even having my problem resolved, $30 for nothing. After more than 25 years as a Verizon customer, I'M DONE! They obviously do not value their customers. They will say they do, but they really don't. Avoid this store at all costs. They know nothing more than the help that you can get free over the phone. Better yet,, I suggest to avoid Verizon all together. Get yourself another carrier for a lot less. I stayed with Verizon for the customer service which obviously does not exists and is now a place to rip you off. I'm working on switching and have already gotten a better offer with more data usage from Mint Mobile for 1/4 the price that I am currently paying Verizon! Don't let this company rip you off, denied you in person support unless you more and then treat you like crap. read more

I might be the only person giving a 5 star review. My girlfriend and I visited this store on May 28th to replace a cable box that wasn't working. Our customer representative was Isacc and he was excellent. He reviewed both of our accounts and gave us additional information about ordering a newer router. I am very fruaturated with Verizon!! I've been a customer for almost 15 years and every single time I go into this store, I always have incorrect changes to my bill the following month. In this most recent instance, I was GUARANTEED (see email attachment) that my bill would not increase based on Verizon's recommended changes, however I have $49.99 worth of "new" charges. I am incredibly disappointed in the dishonesty of the company, although I can't say that I am surprised. It's unfortunate that Verizon does not seem to care about their customers givin that they are just now down-right lying in order to make a sale. I made a huge mistake Xfinity for Verizon. Xfinity was a little more expensive, but Verizon is horrible. I have never been able to go online or in the Verizon app except to pay my bill. I was supposed to have chosen my channels but I couldn't because the app would always freeze and Verizon chose my channels for me and when I tried to call, of course I couldn't get an answer. I am done with Verizon. You get what you pay for!!! They get no stars from me. I will be making a call to Xfinity very soon. read more

Terrible. Wait times can be very excessive just to speak to someone and the management is absolutely useless. Zero help to solve simple issues. Verizon over the phone support instructed me to exchange a phone that was sent to me by mistake and the manager simply told me it would mess up my account and that I needed to talk with phone support to get it straightened out. I was on hold for over 45 min just to speak to someone and over 4 hours to get my account fixed from Verizon's mistake! Came in to purchase an iPad Air as a gift. Gentleman told me the promo was $150 off but only gave me $100 off and slipped up after he processed the transaction. I asked him to fix it and he stated all he could do was a return, he made a mistake but he couldn't give me the promo he initial presented to me. Came in on Friday unable to text, call or use my phone at all. They changed my SIM card said I was good. Calls were dropping, texts not sending, no reception. Went back Saturday and was told they would not see anyone without an appt and none were available. The store had no one but employees walking around. Checked in online for an appt that showed they had some available and watched the same employee that refused to see us decline the appt twice. I was there the better part of 45 minutes but got my internet connection all juiced up again. They communicate quickly and handled perhaps quite literally 30 to 50 customers in the 45 minutes I was there. They would have had 5 stars from me, but I waited 3rd in line for 1/2 hour as the two customers ahead of me told their life story. After it was my turn? I realized others waiting as they heard some of my life story. So I finished up and am back to wi-fi super high speed internet on the go! Very poor customer service. Employees have bad attitude and the manger is worse. I went in there to upgrade my iPhone 6s Plus to 8 plus. After I purchased the phone, they put the screen protector and there were bubble and dirt. I asked him if he can put the new one on, from that point, he and the manager have the nasty attitude. I felt insulted so I returned everything right there but I still got charged $35 restocking fee. I called the Verizon customer service and made the complaint and of course, got my restocking fee back. I have been with Verizon for over decade and never had this kind of problem before. Never going back to this store again. If you have any problem, don't deal with these people, just call Verizon customer service and they will take care of it. And I just find out while I'm writing this, my old phone got disconnected. After I returned the new phone they never reconnected my old one. How unprofessional this is.. read more

The Verizon Mt Laurel location is okay. Staff is helpful, friendly. I would give it 4 stars but my gripe is with the Go Unlimited data plan, which they sold me on. The Go Unlimited plan has ultra slow data speed making it practically useless. I was told that the slow data speed is caused by congested cell towers in my area. Family XL and New Verizon plans are not effected by congested towers, only the Go Unlimited plan regardless of how much data you have used. Verizon also offers Beyond Unlimited, which is also not effected by congested towers until you hit 22GB, but that plan is $30 per month. I switched to New Verizon 24GB plan for less money than Go Unlimited and speed is back to normal. Verizon should be upfront about the Go Unlimited plan problems. read more

Save your time and energy and buy whatever you need online, because this place is awful. I went in knowing I just wanted to upgrade my iphone 5 to a 6 and was PRAYING I'd be in and out of there. Of course I wasn't. The associate tried to sell me on the Edge plan, which I shot down right away. She asked why, and I told her I just wasn't interested. She proceeded to explain how the whole thing worked for 15 minutes, then spent another 10 minutes writing out what the pricing would come out to. Said no once again. She went on ANOTHER tangent about the Edge plan. I said no ONCE AGAIN. She got huffy and then tried to upsell my plan from 16g to 64g despite the fact that she could see I only went over my data limit once. I finally told her firmly that I just wanted to keep my same plan and get the new phone. She comes back with the phone and a box of screen protectors. She goes to scan the screen protectors before she stopped and said 'you need a screen protector, right?' Typically they've come free with my phones before so I said 'yes' thinking it was free of charge, especially since she had brought it over with the phone without having asked. Big mistake. I looked at the receipt later and she had given me a $25 glass cover without mentioning that it wasn't a standard protector! I understand they're sales people but you don't have to be deceptive and pushy. Never again! read more

My credit card information was stolen at the 1211 Rte 73, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 store. My card was taken into the back office for 10 minutes during which time someone stole my card number from the RFID chip. It should not have taken Verizon that long to process. I tried to call the store to inform them that I had reported them to the Evesham police. Yet I got the run around from their stupid phone menu that wanted an account number I had not yet received. The layout of the store mimics an apple store. It's clean and organized but probably unecessarily large. The staff puts perception of knowledge but really are just pushing you to buy their bright shiny objects. I came in informed so I got in and got out. The new upgrade fee is ridiculous but I've been a Verizon customer for over 10 years. I'm satisfied with the service but avoid verizon stores like a root canal. I go only when I absolutely must. Google Web search teaches more than these sales reps. Do yourself a favor and go in as an informed consumer. read more

It's a nice, large location where you can test out all the devices, but don't bother trying to talk to anybody. The first two times I went in, it was just to check out what was available since my upgrade was coming up soon...I was pretty much ignored by the staff both times, which I was okay with since I was just checking out the functions of the available devices and didn't need any assistance. I went in for a third time since I was finally eligible for my upgrade, and the experience made me want to switch from Verizon, it was that bad! The employee who came over to help pretty much didn't seem like they wanted to be there AT ALL...I was there with my bf and we were asking about plan details and pricing, and they pretty much answered all questions as if we were complete idiots and they were just tolerating us. Instead of answering any questions, they told us to use one of the display tablets to look online for information and then beat a quick retreat to the back to avoid any further questioning. I left without my new device since it turns out Verizon will charge an extra $50 "upgrade" fee in stores vs. online, which is just as well since I didn't want to deal with that individual anymore. Verizon in general seems to be lacking in the customer service department, at least at their store locations (I seem to go through this every 2years when it's time for my upgrade...just enough time to have forgotten the previous abuse)....if it weren't for the fact that they have better coverage than their competitors, I'd switch to Sprint or AT&T immediately. As it is, it seems like they think they can treat their customers like crap just because they know we'll keep coming back. read more

I was a Cudtomer Service Manager for a large corporation and I have to say what I have witnessed in the last two weeks from Verizon is just unbelievable. My wife and I switched to IPhone 7 from perfectly good iPhone 6 because the guy in the store at Mount Laurel told us it was going to cost us $360 each and the accessories bundle would be free . He told us we would get $120 each for our trade in of iPhone 6. We paid $160 at the time we exchanged our phone and we were never given any documents for the transactions . When we got our account we noticed they charged us over $300 each for accessories ( $80 just for screen protector) and the iPhone 7 was $890 each. We ended up with a bill for $2200 at the end of the month that's when we realized we had been stiffed and everything came to light. We never got any money back for our two old iPhone 6 ($240). Beware when you go to their stores they will try and sell you accessories pretending they would cost you nothing if you buy a new phone but please don't buy them and make sure you look at the prices they are charging you on your new phones. Ask for a complete breakdown of everything and don't believe their sales talk . This was very dishonest what they did with us. We ended up paying $2220 in addition to the $160.00 which we paid in their store. Salespeople should be honest with customers not try and cheat them simply to sign up. After 18yrs we decided to leave Verizon and do you think with a farewell gift like this we are ever likely to return to them? This is very wrong ! read more

While I was unhappy with the service as described below, management/ownership reached out to me the same day to apologize, offer additional information, and promise to raise the issues with his leadership team. The reach out is a great demonstration of leadership, and sincerely appreciated. My concerns have been resolved. Thank You. *** I had what should have been a simple question about the Verizon plan I had (I had international travel planned, and wondered what calls I could make/receive). The plan was described one way on my Verizon online account, so I had a customer service chat session to clarify. I then came into the store to confirm the information I was told. A Verizon employee named "Steven" was discourteous and acted put upon for this simple question. He provided a contradictory answer than previously provided, failed to resolve the discrepancy, and when I asked him to confirm the answer before I left he acted put upon and abruptly left our conversation while I was asking a question. I raised this to his manager "Heather" and do so here as well. Verizon is large enough that an employee quite evidently not suited to customer service need not be exposed to customers, destroying Verizon good will. To which end note: it was pouring at the time the store was to open. Customers were queued outside waiting for the store to open. While I appreciate the Verizon employees would not begin work until the official opening time, you could have at least opened the door so your half dozen customers were permitted to wait without getting soaked. Do not go to this Verizon Wireless....customer service is awful. I had visited the store earlier in the week for pricing. Larry helped us and I wanted to give him our business, so I made an appointment with him for Saturday afternoon. When we arrived on time he was helping another couple, so we waited. After waiting for 45 minutes (Larry did not even acknowledge our presence) we decided to work with someone else. We started working with Olga who was nice but not very knowledgeable with the products. We purchased the iPhones and wanted the screen protectors put on our phones. Olga said she was not good at it and didn't want to do it. So we went to tech support. I asked the guy to use the air sprayer to get all of the dust off before he put it on and he said it didn't need it. He wiped it quickly down with the little rag and began to put the protector on. I asked again if he could please spray it with air and he said no. He gets done putting on my screen protector and there is dirt and dust underneath of it. I showed it to him and asked him to fix it. He tells me no and rudely tells me it was a courtesy and that he didn't have to do it for me. Then he asks if we want him to do our other phone. We declined his offer and I went to speak with the manager who was just as rude. He did not offer to fix the phone or apologize for his rude employees. I find it very disappointing that my fiance and I spent hundreds of dollars and the manager let me leave the store unhappy. The customer service is terrible and they don't care how you are treated. DO NOT GO HERE if you want good customer service!!!! We had to leave and drive to another Verizon for them to fix the phones that this Verizon screwed up. read more

No customer service at all. They seem to forget the reason they even have a job is because of the customer. I was yelled at, basically told that the customer is NOT always right, that she wouldn't /couldn't help me because I MADE a mistake not her and that it wasn't her job. Mrs.Dunlap was a total bitch and I wish they'd review their phone calls as training ops as she is a supervisor and was obviously either NOT paying attention or absent on the day they taught customer service 101. I've never felt more frustrated ever when trying to get them to NOT post my payment twice and now I have a credit balance with them and probably 2 bounced checks coming for their mistake. Make sure that you are prepared for the rude greeter at the door and I agree with the former reviews, their goal is not customer service. Go to the store near the Cheesecake Factory in Haddonfield and ask for Ed Busser. We had a little bit of wait but what a great guy.
