I love this place!! Tonight they has a live band playing through the Decades of Rock! This venue has indoor and outdoor spaces, and the band is outdoors so prepare for the heat and wear comfortable shoes for an impromptu dance at your table or in the area in front of the band. Wow- my 1st time here for the happy hour with my ladies group!!! I was very impressed with the ambiance. We were seated outside on the golf course where there is a fountain as well as the stage. There is live music every night which is awesome!!! The food was delicious! I ordered the Ahi Tuna wish Asian Noodles & salad! After I ordered, many people at the table wanted it too. I'm on my second visit and I am huge fan. The atmosphere is great both on the patio and in the dining room. The bartenders are phenomenal. They know their beer, wine, and how to mix a cocktail. Lots to choose from on the menu. We have some favorites. The French Dip is the best bar none. Fish Tacos are phenomenal. Breakfast portions are huge. We didn't try it, but the brunch buffet is bountiful. Service has been fantastic in the dining room and at the bar. Galuppi's has specials nearly every day. There is music most nights of the week. If you like unseasoned food, this is your place! I came here on a Saturday afternoon. The only things that saved this place were the view and bottomless drinks for brunch. I got the shrimp and grits. The grits were like thick oatmeal and had no seasoning. The shrimp they put on top is sparse and isn't flavorful. The service wasn't good either. The waitress we had seemed like she was very busy and was short with us even though we were the only people in the section. We definitely won't be back for the food but maybe a drink. This place is awesome! We have eaten there a few time (mostly on Sunday for the buffet) and the food is great. We went there for dinner a couple of weeks ago and the food was just as good. I ordered the fish and chips and we all split the nachos. The only complaint is that the nachos had too much cheese and they started too get a little soupy. The portion sizes were amazing and well worth the price. The buffet is incredible and I highly suggest it. The bands are decent and it's kind of hit or miss. They seem to have a lot of 80's cover bands and I'd like a little more variety. The ABBA cover bands are great and more of them would be nice. I went for the Bon Jovi And Journey cover band concert. They were surprisingly excellent! We reserved a band box which was $50. That cost doesn't go toward food or beverage but it reserves you a table and you can actually choose the table. The great part about reserving, is you can show up at whatever time you want and the table will be ready and have your name on it, loved that. Totally worth it! It was a stormy South Florida night and there was a little breeze. The tables had tents over them and it did rain a tiny bit bit we didn't get wet... Our server was Herman and he was friendly and attentive. Bonus, I got 15 percent off for checking in on Yelp which I used. There were six in my party and some of us ate. I came to Galuppi's to meet some friends for dinner. I was the first one there so I sat at the bar and ordered a martini. I was actually asked if I wanted it shaken or stirred, which is the first for me. And I drink martinis a lot, in a lot of places, so I really appreciate it that because I do like them stirred rather than shaken. I am not a snob, there is a difference lol. I also asked if they have blue cheese stuffed olives (OK I may be a little bit of a snob) she said no which was OK. I just took what they had and took my drink inside. I had ordered in the patio area which is really big and nice. It was just a little too windy. As I was sitting inside still waiting for my friends. The waitress actually came with some olives that she had stuffed just for me. That was so nice of her. As soon as my friends came in, we got seated. There was only about five minutes left of happy hour and the waiter said he would honor happy hour on our first round. We were really happy with that. I ordered the fish tacos.which I ordered with sweet potato fries. They were really tasty actually. The, the food came relatively quickly and it was fresh. I don't remember the waiter ever asking but at the end end of the meal, he brought all of our checks separately which we appreciate it. Overall, this is a pretty good place. I love this place! It is super fun to have a drink, eat some amazing food, and then hit some golf balls. They even have promo girls sometimes that hand out free beers! My FAVORITE is the chicken quesadilla. We really like the tuna melt too. Our food comes out very fast even when they are busy. The ambiance is open, airy, beautiful lake views, and on a golf course. Went for Sunday Brunch. Website made it sound so good. Very disappointed. First of all the interior dining is quite small with just a few tables and booths. We were expecting it to be more upscale. Next our waitress was terrible. She seemed to be unaware of the bottomless Bloody Mary deal. She also never brought us water. And we had to ask other servers to get her whenever we needed anything since she never checked on us. Finally I had to find the manager when my final drink didn't arrive after over 20 minutes. He said he put the drink order in and it turned out it was waiting and she never picked it up. We asked him for the check and said we just wanted to leave. He said that there was no charge for the drink. lol. I was charged for the bottomless charge for drinks along with our food. Never again! The short rib over risotto was tender and served with Brussels sprouts. It was a large quality portion for $18. Save room for the bourbon bread pudding served warm. It was so good. The Oreo dessert is 4 scoops of ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce and Oreo pieces. Service was great. They have a spacious patio. There is an indoor and outdoor bar. I went here 3 years ago but was not impressed. I was persuaded to go back today and will NEVER go back. There was someone's chewing gum in the napkin my silverware was wrapped in! EEWWW! I ordered the Friday special (fish fry). By the time I got my food, the rest of my party were 3/4's of the way through their meals. It was the special!! The guy delivering ice to the bar was very vulgar with his vocabulary when he had to navigate around another table who had someone sittting in the aisle. At the end, did they comp my meal? Nope. Fun place! Went on Saturday night with hubby and another couple and got there around 6:15. Sat outside and forgot for a moment I was not on vacation. The band, Southern Blood, went on the stage at 7:30 which allowed enough time for table chatter. We went on mother's day for brunch. Service was horrendous(slow and lacking). The food was mediocre for the price- the oysters were warm, it was almost impossible to crack open the crab legs, ahi tuna was void of taste. Don't get me started on the mango margarita aka mango puree. We were seated and waited almost 15 minutes for someone to ask if we had a server.He took our drinks order and brought plastic cups of water. This restaurant is a popular event/wedding venue as well... but today I'd like to highlight their fun series of Friday and Saturday night concert shows! Their outdoor area is transformed as they host 1 or 2 bands and sometimes a warm-up singer for a fun evening out. I've seen many shows here and enjoyed some good food and drinks as well- don't get me wrong, the food is ok and we're usually famished by the time we order after all the singing and bouncing about- ans the drinks. What we like: not too expensive selection, good basics, cocktails are a bit on the iced down side but still good, and the food is bountiful and good. Last night I got the Asian steak salad (Thai peanut sauce) and it hit the spot! While my partner got the French Dip comes with au jus sauce and them fries... yummy : and we also got some vodka martinis, cosmos and then a chocolate martini (for desert) and all was yummy, while we sang to the tunes of Fleetwood Mac tribute band amidst the very enthusiastic crowd: a fun Friday night evening! You can reserve a table via their event right platform (it's $50 per table of 2-6 people) or you can do standup bar, but we like to sit and enjoy. We like to arrive before the main show starts around 715 (show 7:30 to around 10:30 with breaks) so we can place our dinner orders but they will hold your table so you can arrive later if you want to... overall we will be going again and just wonder if there is a similar venue south of 595 cause I'd love a shorter ride back home! This hidden place definitely shocked me in regards to location. It next to a golf course with a beautiful view and a small fountain. The service was a bit slow but waitresses and managers were nice . I ordered the trio (spinach , salsa , queso) and steak Philly. I received chicken Philly instead which wasn't a big deal to me because i liked both. I had to send it back because the mushrooms were too burnt and threw off the whole flavor of the sandwich . My friend ordered chicken bites but it tasted Weird to her so she only ate 2. The food was average and felt like it was popped in the microwave whenever someone ordered it. I've seen good reviews about the food so maybe it was a off day. Have always heard of the guppies but more for a weekend good time, live music, and dancing kind of place. I did not realize that they had a brunch on the weekends until I found it through a search online. Made a reservation but when we got there at 11, the restaurant was empty except for one other table. It did fill in a little bit as we left, but it was surprising that it was not crowded. Since the all you can eat buffet was only $25 per person and unlimited mimosas or bloody. Mary's were $18, I would've expected it to be way more crowded but it was a rainy day so maybe that people. We had four people to our party and we all opted for the buffet. Of course there was breakfast items like bacon and sausage, but there were no eggs on the bar as they made everything fresh. So you could order scrambled eggs or fried, or even eggs, Benedict or an omelette and they would make it fresh and bring it to you at your table. Same thing with toast, bagels or English muffins. They did have a lot of other selections at the buffet for those that didn't want just breakfast items. There was Aji tuna, salads, a prime rib, carbon station, big ziti, chicken, Parmesan, a few appetizer selections, and then a whole dessert section. Our server was super nice. Responded immediately with answers. The staff was amazing! They were on it the entire night! They were friendly, understanding, courteous and actually had fun with us! KUDOS to Rose, Ali, Amy and Lisa. They felt like family! The food was delicious and delivered exactly as scheduled!! A must try especially if you have an event! I came here a year and some change ago with my now husband and returned on Sunday- both experiences were great! They made us mocktail sa which were great and the food was bomb. The first time we went the brunch menu was different due to COVID. This time around we had chicken Phillys (sandwich) with Cajun fries. It was delicious! Our server Scott was kind and attentive. He answered all questions and made our experiences enjoyable. They had a great DJ outside Wuxi set a great atmosphere. It was super hot (August in FL) but just make sure you sit under one of the fans outside and you should be good. Everyone from the hostesses to other servers were very kind as well. Went to a special event--Motown. They were charging $65 for reservation (made on line with credit card) and did indicate that drinks and gratuities would be due at the event. There was a fixed menu with 3 entree choices. The food was dreadful at best--i chose the chicken dish and the portion was microscopic. The desert was a tiny joke. Further, when the bill came they charged 22% for service PLUS tax PLUS 3% for credit card use. Total ripoff. They also billed it on $75 and i had to have that fixed. I've been here many times for live music but never eaten dinner here. I was a little skeptical and read the Yelp reviews before we went which were quite accurate. The food is good the service is so so. My friend and I ordered drinks they were having happy hour specials buy one get one free. The drinks never arrived. We chose not to say anything as our food came out and we didn't really want to have drinks at that point. When my friend ordered the chicken & pasta in vodka sauce the waitress said it came with soup or Salad. He ordered salad which never arrived with the entrees. I ordered the Asian ahi tuna salad. The portion was a nice size and the tuna was very fresh. The only suggestion I would make is to offer some pickled ginger with it. The menu has a good range of options from fish to chicken and beef as well as ribs. We decided to try one of the deserts and went with the chocolate lava cake which comes with ice cream and whipped cream. The ice cream was a bit frozen and had a lot of ice chips in it not a premium ice cream. The lava cake was Tasty but was missing the lava. Having worked in a restaurant kitchen and made lava cakes I know that when you overcook the cake there is no Lava. Something the restaurant could easily fix. Galuppi's gets a lot of customers because it's on the golf course and they have great live bands but they certainly could improve their service. read more
