We booked the father's day brunch buffet. Upon arrival we were sent outside. It was an extremely hot day, the fans were not on in the section we were put in not any cooling apparatus to make people comfortable either. We were never told it was outside seating amd the buffet was a very long walk inside to get to. I complained to a manager, who sent us to another hot outside area. We were told all inside tables were full. We were not the only table recently seated that was shocked and unhappy with the seating. We had elderly guests from Germany with us and this outside seating temp was unacceptable. I went inside and noticed almost ALL of the tables were empty! This was 2pm and the event was open for a minimum of another hour till the last seating was scheduled. I was told there was an event at 5pm thats why the tables were not being sat.I complained to a different manager, I think the GM and he got us an inside table in this air conditioned room. Then we went to the buffet. I was looking forward to the seafood and the crab legs. This is why I picked their buffet. They were OUT, I asked if more would be coming soon and I was told NO that they were completely out. Running out so early of an obviously popular item and for a not so cheap price is not acceptable along with not telling people they would be outside in extreme heat without any proper cooling apparatus and add that we were lied to about all inside tables were full. The other food option were OK, just ok. I was very disappointed and embarrassed as I recommended this buffet to our visiting European friends. I've previously enjoyed their concerts but we do not think we will come back to this place again due to the problem we experienced. read more

We made reservations for Easter Brunch at $69 PP, with the confirmation TWICE that we could order off the regular menu, which was not the case when we arrived. Also, the ad stated that non-alcoholic beverages were included in the price. After checking our receipt we found that there was more than $35 added for such beverages. When questioning the charge, the manager said that was the was not the case. After reading the ad to him stating the policy, he agreed to adjust the check. That is TWO cases of Bait and Switch. The check was more than $900 including a 22% service charge for a buffet. The food was mediocre at best. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Galuppis read more

Brought my grandson for the bluie show and food.....it was terrible, no snacks for the kids accept rice crispy treats and popcorn,chicken tenders were hard as a rock....very expensive for what it was.....they took a nice restaurant with good food and turned it into a low grade venue. read more

I've been here before. It's rather a zoo at happy hour during season or when they have a special band or entertainment. I've also worked events here when I was helping an association with their monthly meetings. However, it's been some time since I've eaten here. We stopped by during the week for lunch. It was nice and quiet. Most of the patrons were enjoying dining on the patio, but we chose to dine inside. When we first came in, we were the only occupied table inside, but were soon joined by two other parties. There is plenty of free parking right outside the building. We were greeted on entering and service was pretty good throughout the meal. They have some very reasonable lunch specials. You have to order a beverage to get the $7.99 specials, but you can choose a soda or iced tea if you don't wish to have something alcoholic. My husband ordered their half short rib melt sandwich with a house salad. I got their tuna melt with baked potato soup. He really liked his short rib sandwich -- there was a lot of meat in the sandwich. My tuna melt was just okay. The soup wasn't the hottest, but warm enough to eat. I'm glad I added cheese and bacon to the soup as it would have been very bland without it. I'm glad we came to try them again. Now we know. read more

This was just eh. I went with a crowd of other friends for one of their event nights with '80s music. Not their fault, but the music started about an hour later than it was supposed to. So instead of 7:30 to 9:30 it was more like 9pm to who knows? I left. As a larger crowd we had to reserve a table. We did so online, based on the online availability. I even called in to see if someone cancelled if we could switch as it was supposed to rain. We wanted under the covering but had to choose one close by it. We were seated at the table but all of the others were empty for the majority of the night- why couldn't we sit under the awning? The staff was mediocre, our waiter was almost irritated at having to serve us. He made snippy comments and was not around too often. The food was not great. It was not even good by bar standards. I wasn't going to leave a review, but they have dueling pianos coming up, and I had such a bad experience the first time around that we are not going back because of that. We hosted a baby shower here a couple of weeks ago. It was a pleasure to work with Melanie and Ray. Then day of event, Captain Liz and Lisa were amazing. Liz and Lisa were readily available to support our event. People are still talking about the food, we chose the lunch buffet which included (our picks) Penne alla Vodka, Chicken Piccata, Brisket among other things. Menu was OK, nothing spectacular but decent. I definitely recommend reserving a table in advance to be sure you get the best view. I have been many times over the years, but definitely attending more regularly. I will say that on my last visit, while our server was nice, it was not always easy to get his attention or order drinks, hence the reason for 1 less Star. My sister had her baby shower at Galuppi's, and wow! The restaurant and private rooms are beautiful. You can bring your own decorations, but they also have some nice wall backdrops you can use. We were able to enter the room 1.5 hours before the shower and the staff was very helpful with everything we needed. We had a wide selection of food including, cheese, fruit, salad, chicken, brisket, pasta and more. The food was really good and I'd go back for a casual dinner to try other menu items. The wait staff was very attentive and continuously refilling drinks and asking if we needed anything. If you're hosting an event or if you're looking for a casual dinner or lunch, I highly recommend this place! read more

I've been to this venue a few times for the live bands, which are usually great. Unfortunately, the food continues to be a major disappointment and really needs improvement. Last night, I attended a "special" concert dinner event and paid over $90 per person -- I left feeling like I'd been ripped off. The food was, as expected, subpar. The silverware was dirty, and the service was practically nonexistent. My friends and I had to get our own drinks at the bar because no server ever came to our table. To make things worse, the service charge was already included -- which probably explains why the waiter didn't even bother to show up or make any effort. It's outrageous, in my opinion, to charge for service that was never provided. It's a shame, because the venue itself is beautiful. If the food were even just decent, we'd definitely come more often -- as it stands, we usually eat somewhere else beforehand. Also, the wine list could use a serious upgrade. Honestly, I'd rather pay a $25 corkage fee and bring a good bottle myself. read more

I came on a Sunday for the famous Sunday brunch. I had a great time. The service was friendly. I sat outside. The view and atmosphere were both great. The restaurant is located next to a golf course. You can imagine the beautiful view. I liked this place. I made a reservation on Yelp. Some reviews advised it because it gets busy. It's a big restaurant. The outside area has different sitting options. It has a bar and two stage areas. A beautiful area called the deck. It is probably used for special occasions and nice patio couches around the lake. The Sunday brunch was great. It was a buffet style. The hostess gave me a menu of it. The menu does change, I was told. It had a good variety of items. I especially liked the waffle station. The omelet station also looked good. I tried a little bit of everything and rolled myself out. When I was there, I saw advertisements. It seems they have dueling pianos certain days of the week and live band bands. This place was fun. read more

Great music venue with good service. Plenty of tables but they do take reservations. Some concerts they sell front tables by the stage for six people for an extra fee. My biggest complaint was the large number of people who are smoking and vaping everywhere. Since all the tables are outside you are at the mercy of whether there is wind and which way it's blowing. If you order food and someone starts smoking next to you, I get frustrated with the fact you are smelling smoke the entire time and these people are literally killing themselves and me at the same time. No courtesy here at all. At the end of the last concert both me and my clothes smelled so bad from smoke that I had to shower before going to bed. This bar/restaurant is part of a golf course. There is an airport next door, so they don't have neighborhoods where the sound level has to be watched. For this reason the concerts can go until late, 11pm on the most recent Journey/Styx tribute band that was so good. Alcoholic drink prices are good. The bar tenders do a good job with the drinks, although they are served in plastic cups. Great sound for the concerts. Keep up the great work on bringing the music to the area. Food is pretty basic. In fact I believe the menu only has a vegan burger as the only type for that category. Prices are a bit high for the quality so we often eat before coming and just do drinks. read more

Knowing that we would find ourselves in town on Thanksgiving I knew I had to find somewhere for a proper Thanksgiving dinner. I did some research ahead of time and decided on Galupi's based solely on the menu, The place itself is lovely. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside as we always love when we can dine Al fresco. We arrived at our reservation time and there was some minor confusion as they were relocating the check in area. It was sorted quickly and we were seated promptly. The staff was amazing. For having to work a holiday everyone was super friendly. We had two managers come around and ask how we were doing and got to chat with one for a bit. Our server was also very present and friendly. No one seemed bothered at all that they were working on a holiday. They actually had the buffet lines set out in a couple different areas. There was one outside and one inside. Both had the same dishes. There was a salad section with a few different pre mixed salads, some cheese, meat and veggie sticks, Ahi Tuna and salmon. There were carvers for the turkey, ham and prime rib. But, the turkey and ham were also on the buffet line as well. Traditional sides and some non-traditional ones were plentiful: green bean casserole, mashed candied yams, mashed redskins, stuffing, broccoli and cheese and rigatoni with meat sauce. There was gravy for the turkey, glaze for the ham and au jus and horseradish for the prime rib. Dessert consisted of bread pudding, apple, pecan or pumpkin pie and a couple different kinds of cookies. The food was good overall, but not great. And it was a little inconsistent between buffet lines. For example, the turkey from the inside line tasted more like a traditional roasted turkey where the outside line was more like a deli type of turnkey. The green beans inside were harder and didn't really taste like the casserole but the outside green beans seemed more authentic.. the broccoli was hard outside but softer inside. The mashed potatoes inside were netter than the ones inside. All minor issues however. Let's face it, everyone has their own way of cooking this particular meal so it'd be hard to find something perfect if you aren't doing it yourself. Overall we enjoyed our meal and were glad we didn't have to miss out on Thanksgiving. We were also glad we don't have to do the prep and clean up, lol! Side note, I could see this being a fantastic place to watch live entertainment when they have it. The outdoor stage and patio setting was perfect for that. read more

4 stars for VENUE only. The food is a negative 1. This is a fantastic venue to see a show and enjoy a drink. Good sound system and easy view of stage from all tables. But the food? Eat somewhere else beforehand. We were a table of 6 and ordered all different items. The salads were atrocious- bagged salad with browning lettuce. The burger was dried out. Veggie burger looked about as appetizing as a hockey puck. If you value your digestive track, it may be best to limit or avoid food consumption at this place.
