Had an occasion to celebrate with a Cajun food lover so we had to try out Gallo's! They specialize in Cajun and Italian cuisine, and they have a fully stocked bar. It was an interesting vibe since they were a mix between candle light dinner and sports bar vibes with lots of TVs in the bar area. The ambience was relaxed and chill. The appetizer bread was very soft and went great with the butter. We opted for the salt brined wings as an appetizer with their house sauce. The sauce was not as spicy as expected, but the wings were so crispy and delicious. I also liked how they put the sauce on the bottom so the wings didn't get soggy over time. Being from Buffalo, my wing standards are high, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good they are! The gumbo was also delicious! It had such a rich taste to it, with tender chicken and the flavor was so deep. I thoroughly enjoyed this. The fish dish was tasty and the portion was big as it also came with polenta. I enjoyed the crawfish in the sauce, but the sauce was a bit heavy. The seafood ravioli was a bit of a miss, as it only came with five ravioli and one of them was not stuffed. Our server kindly gave us a whole new dish, which was great service, but I don't think it would be worth the price. Overall the prices are on the higher side but it's a good place for a nice dinner out. I liked the options for Cajun food and would be back to try more options!

Came here on a Friday night and was able to get seated right away! It was busy but not crazy busy. Great for a date night! Our server was very friendly be knowledgable about the menu. I had the Walleye Fish and my husband had the vodka pasta. Both were very flavorful! Also the service was fast! Overall we would definitely come back.

Wow!!!! This was an incredible yelp find. It is obviously a well kept neighborhood secret. The place was packed but we put ourselves on the waiting list and a table was ready when we showed up. We always enjoy eating in local family restaurants when we travel and Gallo's was top notch! The family story is great and we loved the bread from the family bakery. It was a warm crusty sourdough. I had the House Pasta and my husband had the Pasta Russo. Yum!!! But the star of the show was the Buttermilk Battered fried Oysters for our appetizer. We must go back again for those. Being a neighborhood hotspot, Gallo's is a vibrant, robust place.

Walleye over polenta in cream sauce. Special. Delicious

Gallos remains one of the best Italian/creole restaurants in town. Great menu and specials. Even table bread is very good. Highly recommend their creole dishes. Like everywhere else the prices have gone up, but the quality and quantity of food remains high. You can expect Great service. Also it can get really loud in here. Tables are close. Be sure to make reservations unless you want to take a chance on getting bar seating. Reservations require credit card.

Always busy so I recommend a reservation! The owner is very hands on and friendly. Food is always delicious.

What a great place! Food is excellent, service is fast. Ambiance is nothing special and it was soooo dark I needed my cell phone to read the menu, but that was easily forgiven when we got our entrees. Came in on a Monday night for dinner. Parking lot was packed, though there were still quite a few tables open inside when we arrived at 5:30...not so much when we left. Started with a side salad with their balsamic dressing. The salad was nothing special, just iceberg lettuce with carrots and Kalamata olives, but the dressing was great! I had the Seafood Creole and my daughter had the Chicken Parm. Both were really, really good. The Chicken Parm was served on Alfredo noodles and topped with a red sauce. Never sent that before, but it was delicious. The Creole was outstanding. Shrimp, mussels, 4 good sized scallops and a white fish swimming in the richest red sauce I've ever had! No spice whatsoever, which was a bit surprising, but the flavor of the dish was off the charts. Need to come back again and try something with a bit of spice. Looking forward to it!

Fantastic food, drinks. Back for my third visit and it was perfection once again! Superb service! i had a pear martiniperfection. My entree was a halibut over polenta with their special crawdads sauce...unbelievably delicious! Ended with a limoncello cream cake...the best! Be sure to make a reservation as this place was packed by 7 pm ( Friday evening).

Cavatelli Alfredo with Shrimp

Our server at the bar was so kind, he was awesome! My friend had some dietary restrictions and he was able to help her. The Cavatelli Alfredo with Shrimp was amazing and the bread was warm. Cute bar area, I really enjoyed the ambiance.

Finally made it here. It was a nice weekday so we sat outside. It is fine but it is basically the parking lot just FYI. We were greeted quickly after being seated. Ordered some wine and then food. Once our food arrived (again very quickly) we dug in...but we needed extra dressing for the side salad, salt & pepper, and additional ketchup. We did not see our server for a lengthy amount of time to the point of going into the bar to get someone. It was a bit annoying as they were not that busy at the time. Food was fine nothing over the top but I would go back to try some other menu items. Wine list is good. If only they had a happy hour. Note - there is no happy hour here which was a little disappointing.

We popped in for an after-party drink (pr several) and a bite and were pleasantly treated to those and more. The bartender (and manager along side) was quick to greet, take orders, and serve and was also good to chat for a bit. They'll make you anything you want and all the drinks were tasty. The menu looked enticing and I can never resist wings washed down with draft beer - both really hit the spot. A friend decided upon one (of several) of their jambalaya and WOW was it delicious! In fact, I would to return just for it! The vibe, which was chill, was also perfect and we left, after a few hours, all agreeing that Kelley's is a fantastic spot. Set aside any hesitation and spot the search, Kelley's is where you're going tonight!

My friend was obviously shaken up and when we asked the owner about it. We were met with aggressiveness and a lack of empathy regarding the matter. There was no genuine apology offered when the situation was witnessed. And when we asked to speak with her she approached us with irritation. And let us know she's not sure what else she wants us to do because she already comped her drinks. When I proceeded to ask if she was okay with said behavior from this man, she aggressively responded and continued to show a lack patience or empathy. She was very aware of the matter because her bartender requested for something to be comped, but failed to acknowledge the concern as a business owner directly to her customers. As if we didn't experience something personally violating and traumatic, while she was only a few feet away. And also was seen engaging with said man; prior to allegedly requesting them to leave. I'm deeply disappointed in my experience and I would not recommend any business here.

We ordered our food and it arrived very quickly. We both got the super burger and we split a basket of fries. Random thing I loved was that the condiments had a small pair of scissors on the table to help open them! As someone who has long nails this was great and so smart. The music was a bit loud which made everyone have to speak louder to be heard. It would have been fine but with the loud music, people shouting over one another, and the train tracks right next to the building, it was a bit too loud for me. There was a friend group catching up at the bar but their conversation was becoming a bit inappropriate and the entire room could hear the explicit details of their conversation. All in all, I look forward to eating those delicious burgers again! But unless I'm there when it's less busy I might just order ahead and pick up instead

They offer a variety of drinks and food items, which you can enjoy while playing games. You can order at the bar or through the wait staff that comes around to take orders. The drinks were very festive, like the golden dragon, which had shimmering edible glitter in it, and the bunny shot, which was served in a chocolate bunny. I got to try lots of boardgames like 3D blockus, hues and cues, and attempted to play wingspan (although we didn't get to it because it's a long game!) They even had a stage area, which would be great for performances. Will be back to enjoy their food next time! The only thing to note is that their parking is limited and most of the surrounding lots have tow warning signs on them so carpooling would be good if you're going with a big group!
