This bar is sooooo cute I just came here for Galentines with a friend and they have the best vibe. It's inside of Natalie's in Grandview but their own separate area. We came during an event at Natalie's and got to enjoy the perks of the live jazz which we both loved so much. The menu is great, many options without it being overwhelming. They also had a great description and a glossary explaining any potential new words or liquors to help inform your drink decision. The vibe was very moody, calm, and cozy. I love the eclectic antique vibe with the plants. We ordered the white pizza with bacon, the seasonal Arancini, the triple coffee Affogato, an orange cream soda, and orange wine. Everything was absolutely delicious but the star was definitely the Arancini. It was so amazingly delicious. The flavors all tied so well together it tasted like the perfect fall day in a bite. The Affogato was the second favorite. I love Affogato but I usually don't love the vanilla ice cream. The all coffee ice cream with espresso and coffee soaked cherries was truly everything I've wanted. I loved it here and the options for drinkers, non drinkers, and snackers. I will definitely be back and hopefully soon

We came here after the Levi Kreis show. Attached to Natalie's, so catch a show and walk over. Cute place, smallish, love the décor. Great customer service. Pricey drinks. Nice menu since Natalie's kitchen does all the food. Great place to have a drink. They have their own entrance on Fifth but you can also wander through Natalie's to get in.

Remember The Light of Seven Matchsticks speakeasy at the old Natalie's location in Worthington? It was like the best kept secret in Columbus. Good food, lively bar scene, secret cocktail menu, vibe, incredible live music. Sadly, this reincarnation is just not that. I get what they were going for, but it has none of the magic of the former spot. The staff is fantastic and the pizza is always solid, but that was about it. The non-pizza food portions are comically small, seating is awkward, the cocktail list was unappealing and the bar was dead at 10 pm on a Friday night. I wish them the best with it, but a disappointing experience for me.

This might be the coolest, most innovative cocktail bar in Columbus. The drinks were so much fun. The place is so cute, cozy, and kitschy. It's perfect for a date night. I had so much fun exploring new drinks. Loved that their menu had a glossary too!

This place is devine! They share a kitchen with Natalie's - with a slightly different menu. So, you can enjoy the delicious Natalie's pizzas in a sweet place with a feminine vibe. My friends and I went here before our comedy show at Natalie's, so it was the best of both worlds. Easy parking in the back, excellent service/staff, exceptional food, mocktails & cocktails. I will definitely be back!

Always enjoy my experience at I like It Like That! The drinks are always great and pretty spirit forward. They are all very unique and the bartenders will definitely give you a great breakdown of their menu. They also do have snacks, which have been amazing whenever we have gotten them. The vibes are always so cute.

I'm glad we popped into I Like It Like That and were able to get a table. The place is small (so getting a table isn't a guarantee!), but the service is really friendly and fun when they aren't swamped. Drinks are well-poured and tasty too! Definitely looking forward to coming back, but if you're someone who doesn't do well with small, cramped spaces, this may not be a good fit for you. NOTE: They're attached - but not the same - as Natalie's pizza next door. They have a separate entrance you can get to within the outdoor covered patio. PROS: -Drinks were delicious. The flavors were complex but very flavor-forward no matter what you got. Nothing here we ordered tasted too "straight booze". Lots of different flavors, though, with complex ingredient lists, so ask the bartenders if you're unsure. They were happy to make some modifications (light on the mint, etc.) if I asked. -I'm really in love with the "Glossary" they've attached to the backside of their flippable menu. This means the cocktail bar can use obscure flavors and jargons, and you, the customer, can look up what they mean. It's pretty fun to learn some new words too! -We loved that the wine menu was called "Giggle Juice". We also loved that they carried some non-alcoholic wines for people who may not be drinking for whatever reason. (They have mocktails too, but the NA wine was surprisingly flavorful and served with the same love as wine usually is.) -Service was super friendly. Despite running the whole place on a few bartenders, the bartender still took the time to explain the flavor profiles of drinks and had some great suggestions to make sure the drinks I ordered were great for my palette. -Vibe in here is really lovely. It was still early, so it wasn't too loud, but I imagine this place gets loud with the number of people and small space when it's full. But without so many people, it has a chill, after-work hang-out spot vibe to it. Not too fancy or elaborate but complex in the best of ways. They did a great job on the decor and natural lighting here. -Small variety of seating options, but they do have a couch, armless chairs, and high-top bar seating. Most of the seating is low-top, two-person tables, but they have a few multi-person tables. Do be aware that it's cramped, though, and some of the spaces between tables, as a bigger gal, gave me some serious anxiety. I'd be really uncomfortable fitting between some of the spaces here. CONS: -This place is SMALL. From some overhearing some bartender conversation, it may have been a storage room for the attached pizza/concert venue. They've fit some decent seating in here, but you definitely want a reservation if you want for-sure seating here. -If you want to use the restroom, you'll need to walk across the seating area of the next-door Natalie's. This includes a few doors and navigating multiple tables and chairs without a clear walkway; this would be a gigantic pain for those with mobility issues. -Bursts of ridiculous-level customers are common. After the shows let out next-door at Natalie's, a lot of people popped in for a drink, overwhelming the bartenders. It's not the end of the world, but potentially be aware you might need to be patient if you're coming while a show is happening next door.

Having opened only two weeks ago, I Like It Like That is already booked pretty solid, and with good reason. With multiple cozy seating areas with charming vintage flair, this stylish cocktail bar with small plates is not to be missed. We tried four cocktails, all were unique, inspired, and delicious. The Caffeine and Casein was creamy and indulgent (but not too much!) and was served with a wedge of pecorino- such a delight! The Pimpinella gets its mysterious, green jewel tone presumably from the chlorophyll it contains, and perfectly balances the absinthe at the finish. Journey Destination was a standout - the oaty, bready notes were distinct and surprising, accented by a salt rim. Under the Nose was deep dark, and accurately described by bartender Genevieve as "moody." Completely wonderful. If good times and great cocktails are things you enjoy, then this is the spot for you.

See the drink menu - it's incredible.

We started with the chicken wings as an appetizer - 10/10. Great flavor and texture. Duck Fried Rice - 9/10. More wild rice and a decent serving size of duck, which I enjoyed. Braised Short Rib - 10/10. Wasn't expecting the flavor and tenderness that came with it. It's a good choice for a date night, but beware that the tables are close together so you can hear the conversations next to you, unless you don't mind having to lean in to whisper.

Way too much but the wings were edible... and that's where edibility ends! The tofu with peanut sauce sounded good to me, but I swear they took a whole block of tofu and cooked it as one piece. The exterior was bland which meant the inner depths of said tofu was even blander. How do you make peanut sauce bland? The drinks had to be good, right? After all, they're also a distillery with their own craft whiskey. Nope... Epic Fail on the blandest old fashioned in Ohio (I'm guessing). If they're trying to showcase their whiskey... maybe they shouldn't. Just really not a fan. Other Old Fashioned fans in the dining party weren't impressed either. The margarita wasn't much better either. What about a refreshing peach dessert? I'll give you 3 guesses and they all start with B! You guessed it, so flavorless and the pound cake was dry! It was even dry if you were calling it a biscuit. If you're going to serve this, then maybe a peachy sauce to cut through the dryness. Oh, the description promises that, but it did not deliver on those bourbon macerated peaches by any means. Even Bowser would send this peach back! TLDR: Bland food, Bland drinks, Dry Bland Cake, and Bland Drinks (a no-no for a distillery themed place). So many other great restaurants in Columbus, but this is a pass from me.

Their visual chart is a…read moregodsend for cocktail explorers, and all of the drinks came out delicious and exactly as described. It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.
