The pizza is a little different because they cut it into squares but my kids loved it. The wings were great. Parking is a little tight but there is a good bit of room inside the restaurant to eat. Everyone was really nice and other employees even helped to make sure we had everything we needed. Watching the people at the bar drinking their wine and beers and talking, it just seemed like a good atmosphere with a bunch of regulars enjoying their sat afternoon watching Georgia play. Prices are fair I feel and I think the service justifies any prices that might be a little higher than normal. We would go back

Mini buffalo chicken pizza

This is become a lunchtime favorite. And I have a new favorite menu item. The buffalo chicken pizza. It is amazing, but make sure you go blue cheese over ranch. The blue cheese gives it a perfect kick. I tried the Chicago style hot dogs. Disappointed. But what was I expecting? This is a Buffalo place not a Chicago place. This is also a pizza place so what they do best? Buffalo style pizza. Seriously, try the buffalo chicken pizza. Loaded with bacon and the blue cheese sauce is perfect. You won't be disappointed.

Gala's has been in Atlanta as long as I have, but somehow I'm only now trying it and hearing about it! It was recommended to us as, "The BEST pizza in ATL" It felt like we tried one of everything. We ordered a "Meatza" (kinda like a Meat Lovers)!-- my personal favorite-- the pepperoni , which was the most photogenic for sure! And we also ordered the margarita pizza, which was prepared like a quintessential Margarita with limited sauce and mozzarella over exposed crust. Overall it was yummy. If you're familiar with pizza in the area, I'd put it in a category wuth felinis-style/ quality. I personally liked it more than my most recent trip to Felinis though. One thing I LOVED about Galla's menu-- even though I didn't get the chance to exploit it this time-- is that they have HUGE variety: salads, meatballs, wings, and other complementary dishes if you want to accompany people craving pizza to dinner, without eating it yourself. Before ordering online, I read their story. You should read it! They're a local, Marietta-started joint, created by Atlantans originally from Buffalo! Love eating local and seeing someone's native roots get celebrated!

Meatball Sub

1st time reviewer, longtime Yelper. I'm bored and killing time while I wait for my takeout order to heat up in the oven... Tonight was my second time ordering takeout from Galla's Pizzeria. First time was for lunch and i ordered an Italian sub. My mouth was watering the entire 17 minute drive home. After I arrived home, I opened the to go bag to find bread with lettuce and NO MEATS! Literally an Italian sub with NO MEATS. This trip cost me ~35 minutes of my life I will never get back. Fast forward to the present, my super model girlfriend that's a 10/10, I'm talking 36-24-36 (DM me for her OF handle) and a 5 star Michelin star chef, is at the WM Open for work, so I was on my own for dindin tonight. I'm been craving meatballs for weeks so I decided to give Galla's a second chance. I ordered a meatball sub with fries online and arrived at Galla's approximately 32 minutes later. After illegally parking due to zero available parking spots, I waited for an additional 48 minutes after informing the employees I arrived. After my patience ran dry, and my 5th attempt at getting the employee's attention, my order was miraculously ready. I quickly exited the establishment and survived the 19 minutes drive home to unleash an ICE cold burnt meatball sub paired with soggy arse fries that my dawg refuses to consume. I'm thankful for this experience because I will never listen to 680 The Fan (sponsers Galla's) again. The Chuck & Chernoff show should be held liable for such a horrible recommendation and the Bills will never win a Super Bowl in my lifetime.

Table for 3; Lunch with visiting mother-in-law As we approached the pizzeria, we noticed they had an attached parking lot. It wasn't huge, but we quickly found an available spot. We arrived about an hour after opening on a Sunday, so it wasn't packed--plenty of space for a mid-sized lot. We noticed a few tables outside, but with Georgia pollen everywhere we decided to sit inside. Walking in, we were greeted warmly and informed we could seat ourselves. After scanning the newly renovated and spacious dining room, we found a booth along the far wall, opposite the bar. Our server came over quickly, provided us with menus, and brought waters soon after. Wifey and I checked out the beer selection. The menu featured many of the usual suspects but also suggested asking about some rotating craft choices. Wifey ordered a Blue Moon, and I was about to go with a Creature Comforts Tropicalia when the manager mentioned he had a Double Hazy from Parrish Brewing available. I took his recommendation, and I'm glad I did! My mother-in-law opted for a ginger ale. We took our time reviewing the extensive food selections. Wifey went with her favorite Margherita pizza, her mom ordered a plain cheese, and I built my own pie with chicken, onions, and jalapeños. We all ordered the "Mini," which is their personal pan pizza size with about four slices. Sean, the manager, came over again to check on us and chat for a bit. My mother-in-law mentioned wanting to come back when she's in town in September. He advised that would be right in the heart of football season and that Galla's is home to the Atlanta Buffalo Bills fans. We won't hold that against them, and we'll definitely return--especially since they have TVs everywhere, perfect for watching the games. She also said the place gave her a nostalgic feel, reminding her of her teenage years--the only thing missing was an old school jukebox on the table! Overall, it was a great 1st visit to Galla's. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items. Sean and our server Gabby were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I was a big fan of the crust--super crunchy and flavorful.

Greek Salad

We came in for dinner whilst on a Costco run. I had a greek salad and (6) lemon pepper wings. Service was good and she was patient with us as we had questions about the menu. My wife ordered a beer called Blue Light which she said had more flavor than your run of the mill trailer park Bud Light. Ambiance is casual with nice booths and retro tables and chairs. The food was fresh and good. Full bar accentuates a good place to get wings & a beer while watching a game. Gets my stamp of approval!

Atomic wings and fried!

Galla's is good for takeout or dine in. The pizza is good but not my favorite, although it has some really solid other options, including the wings, tenders, and sandwiches. Prices are good value too. It's got a fast casual meets sports bar vibe inside, the kind of place where you could either grab a quick bite or stay for hours playing trivia. Service is good with some of the staff in particular adding a little fun pizzazz to the evening.

They offer fresh basil, spices, cheese and other things. Also have paper plates and cups to grab. I like the open style kitchen and seatings it makes you feel at home. They have seating up front that is closed off and bar style areas you can stand and eat if you're alone or not in a big group. I think they have outside seating too. We got margarita, pizza, and one with pepperoni and it was really delicious. The cheese pulled on some of the pizzas, but I had to heat mine up for her to get that full melted caramelized look. I like mine a little more crunchy so I just put it in the oven for a little bit longer. The flavor was still pure and fresh and really tasty. I would suggest asking or adding on extra basil. They do sprinkle it on or the cheese covers it.

Disappointing Food Quality and Poor Customer Experience…read more Unfortunately, my visit left a lot to be desired. The pizza arrived with a noticeably burnt crust -- not the charred, Neapolitan-style char that some places intentionally aim for, but genuinely overcooked to the point where it affected the overall flavor and texture of the dish. What made the experience worse was the interaction with the owner. Rather than being met with hospitality, the exchange felt dismissive and unwelcoming. For a dining establishment, the attitude of those running it matters just as much as the food itself.

Often times American/Italian food can get very rich or overdone on the interpretation of spices to satisfy the western palate. This was a delightful surprise. We will definitely be back. I would have went 5 on this one but the wine list was not compatible with the overall experience. The wine list seemed to cater to a much higher end experience. I was really comfortable with the environment, but it's definitely not an elegant atmosphere. For example, a restaurant should not offer a $150 bottle of Clos Pegas and then wrap utensils in a paper napkin. It was a very relaxed enjoyable experience and the food was amazing!!

If only I snagged some pictures of it! Our service was quick to begin with and got a bit slower as it got busier, but food came out quickly which is the important part! I got their Margherita pizza because I was interested in their ricotta stuffed crust. It was certainly one of the prettiest pizzas I've had! It also tasted pretty good. The crust was folded over into points where the ricotta was, which might have also helped the pizza be very stable and not too floppy. I'd say this pizza was close to a NY-style pizza.
